I rented this dress for a summer city wedding and it looked great. However, there were problems with the condition of the dress. The draping is what really makes this dress special, and on my backup size (which fit me better), the draping piece had actually been cut, creating a much simpler silhouette. I imagine that a previous renter did so because she couldn't figure out how it was supposed to go on (it's a little complicated). So I ended up wearing the smaller size because it looked better, but pieces of the plastic boning were poking through the fabric. It was painful throughout the night, and I ended up with scabs on my torso for the next week. Overall, the dress was beautiful (and I received tons of compliments in it), but should have never been rented out in the condition it was in.

Better for a taller girl, I am 5'7 and it worked for me but any shorter and I would have been lost in the dress.

I really loved this dress. It was a little snug up top and I have a small chest. If you have a bigger chest, definitely size up. The skirt is really lose and incredibly flattering. I rented this dress because it reminded me of something Kate Middleton would wear if she ever wore a strapless (I know she wouldn't, but it had that feel to it). However, I was a little disappointed because it doesn't come off as expensive as it actually is. I'm not saying it looks cheap, just not as expensive feeling as you think it would be. The color is beautiful, the detailing is beautiful. But if you are on more of a budget, I would pass on this dress. There are more dresses on here that are just as gorgeous and look more expensive in person.

This is a beautiful dress. The purple color is sensational in person. As others have commented, the upper portion is very tight and I also wore one size up and just barely squeezed into it. That said, I do recommend this dress for a formal event. It's a beautiful design and the bold color is eye-catching without being over the top. Great dress!

I've rented over forty dresses from RTR, and this is the only dress that I had to size up in. The bodice is quite snug, from waist to bust. That said, it is immensely flattering! There is a lot of structure to the upper portion of the dress, but the skirt is loose and drapey. This would be the perfect dress for a pear-shaped figure. The drapes in the skirt really minimize the lower portion of your silhouette, while the bodice accentuates the waist and bust line beautifully!

Beautiful! Luxurious and perfect for black tie. Wore it to a wedding in NYC.

I ordered this dress before the "if it doesn't fit, you don't pay" policy. :( I normally wear a 0 or 2 and BOTH were too small in the torso/ chest. I think this dress is only good for the extremely skinny. I ended up having to make an emergency trip to the mall.

Beautiful dress, the color is a gorgeous shade of purple. However, I didn't end up wearing it since it was too small (but it was the second dress in my order, so I wore the other one and loved it!).
