I wore the size 2 R and I'm 5'8" and it was still long! The material is amazing, the shape is great, the color and print is perfect! I got so many compliments all night long! One of my favorite rentals ever! I paired the dress with chunky black wedges and big gold earrings. So fun to dance the night away in!

This was my first rent the runways and this dress was not my first choice but since my original pick was unavailable I ended up with this one and I could not have been happier. The fit is a little bigger but not a lot bigger. I'm 6' so I ordered the tall but since I wasn't wearing heels I think I would have been fine without the tall, but not worth risking it. I'm not sure how well this would work if you were super busty because the bodice is pretty structured without much stretch I'm an A cup so there was definitely still room, just something to keep in mind.

The fabric feels very good. Soft and silky. It's very comfortable and good for summer weddings because the fabric is light. But it's long. I'm 5'7" and regular was long with 4 inch heels. Runs true to size or maybe slightly large. Felt definitely loser than other size 4 from the same designer.

This dress was so amazing! I got compliments all night and I felt famous! My dress was the only one printed at prom so it definitely turned heads! This dress runs a bit long but I wore tall heels so it worked out. I'm actually glad my original dress didn't work out because this one felt amazing to wear!

This dress is a dream! It does run one size large and is a little long but it made my night truly memorable. I am so happy my original dress didn't make it because this was an upgrade. Be adventurous and rent this dress.

This runs really big and long. I normally wear an 8 but the 4 fit nicely. I'm 5'9 and was wearing 4" heels and I was wishing I'd gotten the regular length version. I would never have picked it out had I not tried it on in the RTR boutique in NYC, but I fell in love with it there. I think it wouldn't look good on most body types - I think you need a long torso so the top of the skirt will hit at the waist.

Wore for a black tie wedding. This dress is really fun. The middle piece is sheer, but not too sheer. This dress is really long. Almost too long for me, and I'm 5'10". Overall very easy to wear.

And a dream come true it was! I received this gown after the wonderful customer service at RTR dealt with an issue with my original order. I was nervous about the sheer expensive of the dress as it would be worn to a prom - from pictures in a muddy garden to having it stepped on on the dancefloor, I had to be extremely cautious about holding it up. In actuality I probably needed an 8 short, but I made due with the size which I was offered. Even so, this dress simply has a lot of fabric - it's just part of the gown. The luxurious details, fashion-forward print, and unique look of this dress made me feel like a runway model.

Beautiful print on this dress. A great alternative to the elegant, classy type of gown for a formal affair! Only down side, it runs fairly large, so size down for a backup!

It fits large but is gorgeous!

The long size is VERY long. Unless you are 6 feet or plan on 5 inch heels and are 5'8... get the regular length. This dress fit beautifully--- BUT, if you are a large C cup or larger.... beware that the clasp in the back may pull. That's what happened to me. It fit everywhere else---- but pulled too much across the back.

I chose this dress after my original dress order became unavailable, and RTR offered any dress in exchange to make up for it. I had my eye on this one for awhile so I jumped at the chance to rent it. It is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric feels very high end and the illusion back and cutouts on the stomach are edgy but classy. The only drawback is you can't wear a normal bra with this. I used double-sided heavy duty tape that I got from the hotel maintenance guy. It was strong enough to strap me in and keep the dress in place, but I'd lie if I said that part was comfortable. There are other solutions out there, I just didn't have time to investigate them. Definitely worth the discomfort. :-)

I wore this for my 30th birthday and it made me feel fantastic! The dress flows beautifully and the pattern is very fun!

Knowing I could be bold with color, I wore this to the Sangeet of an Indian wedding. It was perfect! the material is light and moves beautifully. The long was ideal with 4 inch heels, still sweeping the floor (I'm 5'9). Definitely size down, as the dress runs a full size large.

Overall, I loved the dress. There were a few things that I did not care for, but I still looked great. There is no give in the material in the bust, so I would consider that before you rent it. You cannot wear a bra with this because it is low cut in the back and sheer across the abdomen. Also, the arm holes were kind of tight. Last, I typically order longs because I'm 5'6" and wore 4.5" heels, but even with that, I had to gather up the material to walk. That wasnt a bad thing, just something to note before you choose to order a long.

My cousin is 5'7 and the 12L was perfect. She is normally a size 12, and the fit was perfect. She did wish she purchased a different bra, since the straps showed a bit in the back, but overall she was very pleased!

Echo the other reviews - it's strikingly beautiful. Sized down 2 sizes & fit perfectly. Very long, but fabric is substantial enough to be hemmed with fashion tape.
