Get this dress - you won't regret it.

I loved wearing this dress. I got so many compliments, and felt so glamorous all night. I ordered a 4R and 6R, and went with the 4R which fit perfectly. The material isn't stretchy though, so I would recommend sizing up for your 2nd size. I wore 4 inch heels and it was the length was just right, barely grazing the floor. The center slit was not too scandalous, but be ready to show a little decolletage with the neckline! I also have a short torso and usually have a hard time with straps if they are not adjustable, but these stayed on my shoulders and did not require any adjusting. Rent this dress! You'll love it!

IN LOVE. If I had a black tie event to attend every day, I would wear this dress. The fit is phenomenal and hugs all of the right places. When it is on the body it slims the figure, and gives all the right amount of shine. Not too much. Be sure to never be forgotten if you wear this dress! HIGHLY recommend this look. If you have an hourglass figure, rent this dress! You will turn heads! This fits true to size! I would size up if you are curvy in the hips/have a bust, and down if you are more straight and narrow/ have a smaller bust.

I am a size 4 and this dress (size 4) fit perfectly. I ordered the 6, just in case, but didn't need it. Fit so well didn't even need a bra. I am 5'7" and with 4" heels the dress hem did not hit the floor. So I wished this came in long (v just regular). But overall, was extremely happy. This was a one-of-a-kind dress, which is what I wanted for this gala. Well done Rent the Runway!

I wore this dress to my pharmacy school gala which was roaring 20's themed. I normally wear a size 4 so the size 4R was perfect for me. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress just grazed the floor which looked great. I also wore long gloves past my elbows because I read that the bodice was scratchy, but even when I took them off later in the evening I didn't really notice it being uncomfortable. I was one of two girls wearing a long dress at this event so it really made me stand out and was perfect for the theme. I loved it!

I was extremely pleased that this dress wasn't too long - I am 5'1" and am used to dresses dragging, but the 4 just touched the floor in normal heels. I loved the way the skirt moved when I walked - it was flowy and fun, but not heavy at all. The dress is definitely designed for bustier women, and would have looked better if I filled it out more, but overall I still felt great in the dress all night!

Cute but a little too much skin exposed for me- I ended up wearing my other choice. Comfy and flowey bottom- top more fitted.

While I could squeeze into the size 4, I went with the 6 because I felt better with a little extra room around the middle. I was concerned that it would be too long, but the length was fine with 4 inch heels. As others have noted, the bodice sequins in very scratchy. I tried not to rub my arms against the fabric, but it did end up irritating my skin a bit.

Didn't get to wear this because the material irritated by arms, the gold part is made out of sequin type material and scratched the skin making it unbearable to wear. I'm 5'1 and if I wore 5 inch heels the length of it came perfect. This dress would have been beautiful to wear only if the good portion of the material was made with something else.

Got tons of compliments on this dress. It's architectural, glamorous, and unusual. It is, however, hard to wear. The sequins irritated my underarms and I couldn't wear a bra with it because the neckline was too low. Nonetheless, I'm glad I wore it because of how fabulous it is.

This flatters a small waist and bust, but loves the curves, too. Compliments from ladies and guys, too.

I can usually fit in a size 2, but this was a little frumpy on me. I loved the slit in the middle. The actual dress itself seems a bit worn, and the sequins scratched my arms pretty bad (I hadn't noticed it throughout the night/ignored it, when I shouldn't have!) I want to emphasize that because my arms were red and scabbing a week later! i hadn't expected it to be that bad when I read other reviews. I ended up changing out of it after the ceremony for reception shenanigans! I would rent this for, perhaps, a more formal event/wedding. Do rent it true to your size, not too big or too small. That may have been why the sequins bothered me.

I must say that the dress is a beautiful piece however it is rather heavy, like wintery heavy. It runs really small like almost a whole 2 sizes.

The sequins on top look very cheap in person. I am always a size 2, and this would not zip over my bust. I am a C-cup so its not like I am super large in my chest area so was upset this didn't work at all. If you are bust-y be sure to size up 1-2 sizes or go with another option all together. Good thing there is a RTR in Georgetown for such a dress emergency! Ended up with a great dress!

Couldn't wear it - way too small. Also sequins on top is a bit gaudy.

This dress ran a llitle small and there was a slit in the front that I did not see. So I did not wear this dress to my event.

I wore this at a Masquerade Ball and it was perfect. the bodice fits like a glove and the slit up the middle of the skirt is a head-turner!

I was really excited to wear this dress. I was sent 4R and 6R. The bust was huge. The straps were too short, so the sequins rubbed your armpit in a painful way. It had a tiny waist and then it was very heavy with fabric on the bottom. If you are an hourglass (read very, very busty) with a tiny waist, this is your dress. It is an exceptionally well made dress, structured and heavy. Was sad it didn't fit.

The chest area was very widely spaced and cut very uncomfortably. Both the 2 and 4 zipped up just fine but the shoulder straps were too short and the cut of the bust was too wide for my body. I have no idea how anyone could wear this or what type of body this would look good on... Thankfully RTR overnighted me a new dress!

Unfortunately, I was not able to wear this dress because it was abnormally tight in the chest area. I was able to zip it with the help of a friend, but it was way too tight and uncomfortable to consider wearing all night. The top is really beautiful, but the fabric on the bottom half wasn't quite what I expected. To me, it looked like a thick polyester suit from the 70's than an elegant and feminine. If you decide to rent this dress, be sure to size up, and that the heavy fabric won't be too warm for your occasion.

The dress fit great and was beautiful on. The problem was the sequins in the top scratched my arms (even forarms) so much they were almost bleeding! This was just in trying it on! That was not the problem because I may have come up with a solution. The problem came when I tried to contact customer service to ask them to send a different style just in case. I could not get any reply from phone calls or e-mails. I was so worried I just sent it back near the 24 hr limit because I was afraid I wouldn't have a dress and I would still have to pay for rental. It has been almost 1 week and I still have not gotten any reply from RTR! I had to buy a dress less than 24 hours before my event. I asked for a full refund but so far have not even received confirmation of the return! I will not use them again!

It's a very pretty dress and I really wanted to wear it so I took a chance even though this style does not come in longer lengths. Unfortunately it was noticeably too short for me so I had to go with my backup dress. It's nice and if you are 5'7 or under I would say go for it but if you are any taller don't waste your time.
