This dress is more beautiful in person than on the super-thin model in the picture. It is positively regal with its drape and Victorian silhouette, especially with the corseted fit and royal sash effect. This blue has trickled into every closet in the last two years, but here the gold brocade and nouveau sari styling make it seem new again. The regular length was unavailable and I took the chance on the long. The hemline was perfect with 3 1/2 in heels. It was the draped sashes that were too long, but those can simply be tucked over an arm for any walking. Take a chance on this one. I'm glad I did.

I tend to be a tad straight with a waist that is not very small. It was snug in the middle but made me look like I had the hourglass figure so it was worth it. Chest area might run a tad big. I wore the 8L and with the sash it was perfect with my 5'8" height with 4" heels. Would highly recommend!

LOVE this dress! I wore it to a black tie event on received so many compliments. The dress really stands out and is a head turner. I normally wear a 10 or a 12 but I am so glad I ordered the 12. The dress is tight on top and would probably not work as well for some body types. This is of my favorite dresses ever and I wear black tie dresses regularly. I would highly recommend this dress and although it's a little more expensive to rent than others it is a steal.

I wore this dress to a Game of Thrones/ Lord of the Rings themed wedding! It fit perfectly except that it was a little shorter than I expected. It worked out because I wore sandals anyway, but for a formal event I would have wanted it to be longer. The cut is very flattering, and I was getting compliments all night!

So, I knowingly ordered this dress a size smaller and longer than I usually wear. I was on a time crunch and once I saw how amazing this dress was, I had to order it for my event. That being said, the fit seems true to size (after doubling up on spanx- no joke, I really did that.) The material is gorgeous, light but not transparent. The color is true to the photo online, bright blue and lighter gold design. I was about 5'9" with my heels for the night on and the sash feature and overlay drug on the ground quite a bit (again, I knew I didn't need a long but I HAD to wear this dress, people!!). Not great in Seattle's liquid sunshine but the dress and I both survived. The cut of this dress is figure flattering at its finest! As other reviewers have said: the bust does not stretch at all. Well endowed ladies, be aware. Bottom line, if you want to wear something stand out and gorgeous to your next formal event, give this gown a serious thought! It's beautiful and comfortable. Make sure you're ok with being looked at, though because you will turn heads and get many compliments!

The fit was amazing, however I ordered the 6L and it was short - I couldn't wear heels, I wore sandals, and I'm about 5' 7.5", not quite 5'8". I tried on heels but you could see my foot so I opted for sandals, big earrings and a gold bracelet. I received SO MANY compliments - several people thought I had it custom made. I will say the bust was a bit big, and I'm a C-D cup - I couldn't wear a strapless bra so I wore one of those sticky bra things and I still had to pull the top up through out the evening but it was WORTH IT! you'll love this dress to show off curves and feel like a princess!!

Oh, the photos do a disservice to this dress...it is AMAZING. I have never received so many compliments as when I wore this beautiful creation. I kept the jewelry very simple with gold hoop earrings, gold bangles and a very thin gold chain. The dress did the rest on its own. I wore it to a military ball and it worked well with the Army Dress Blues.

No idea why they used a blonde model for this color. The royal blue is totally a brunette color. The dress is unique... not the same jersey thing everyone is always wearing. The bust is very form-fitting. I think if you're very big up top then this dress might not work.

If one could dream of the perfect dress for an Indian Wedding, it would be the Zemu Glacier Gown. I was in love the rich color of this dress, and the draping is so special. I recommend this style for a woman with curves and a larger bust, as the straps were a bit loose on me along with the chest area. A true hourglass would be outrageous in this dress. This is such a unique design that one will really appreciate if they choose to rent it. Loved it. You can opt to wear the strap on your shoulder, or tuck it into the bodice, based on preference. It fell off on me, therefore I would recommend tucking it if you do not want to adjust it all night!

I selected this dress for its Indian look for a recent wedding. It has the look of a sari without the fuss. It was the perfect dress for dancing and chasing after my two little ones without worrying about any indecent exposures. The color is beyond fabulous. My only issue with this dress was the shoulder strap was loose on me - which I was able to pin, but not ideal. There is a slight train and it was kinda ragged, but hard to see.

Online and reviews, this dress looked amazing. When it arrived, I was very impressed, that is, until I tried it on. It was very tight on top for me, and had trouble breathing as the chest area doesn't give at all. there isn't a lot of support in the chest area, so if you're bigger, it probably isn't the best fit. If you're smaller, it might be too big up top, too. Just sort of awkward fitting up top. As for the bottom, it is deceptively snug through your hips and into your thighs. I thought it would be fitted through the waist and then flare out at the hips, but it doesn't. It was sort of hard to move in and tight when you would sit down. It really is such a beautiful dress, I don't like writing negative things about it. I think it would be better fit for smaller women so that you would be more comfortable in it. So sad I couldn't wear it, still a beautiful dress. The detail was amazing and the fabric was wonderful.

Great fit

Stunning dress, flattering draping, standout color. I guarantee no one else at your event would have a dress like it. I also imagine it fits true-to-size. I wore a 4L because it was a last-minute replacement option for the original dress I rented which didn't work out, and 4L was the smallest size available (I would've rented a 2R and sure enough, 4L was slightly too large and too long).

I was sooooo bummed when I got the call 4 days before my event saying that the dress I reserved for my upcoming event was damaged beyond repair. I was really looking forward to wearing this very unique, stand-out gown. RTR was fantastic about finding a replacement and in fact sent me several options, one of which was about 4 times the rental price of what I originally reserved. Unfortunately that dress didn't work, but the other two back-ups they sent were great and I actually had a hard time deciding which beautiful dress to wear.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous- it was to replace a dress that didn't come in (due to disrepair). I wasn't able to look at fit details; and now I see that it says no stretch... and they really mean NO STRETCH. It needs exact measurements. It zipped up but was so tight that I was afraid to sit down in it or breath. It was sooo gorgeous though, made my body look like a million bucks. I do recommend this more for flat chested women.

This dress fit weird. It was too loose in the bust (32DD) but too tight in the waist (about 29") Though, I was sent a 6L, and I think the L was the problem. I loved the color of this dress, and the brocade part made me look like I had a flawless figure, but it just fit weird. And for you Army ladies, the blue didn't clash too bad with the Army Blues. It looked good with the jacket, and a little off with the pants.
