this is the only picture I could find where the wind wasn't blowing my hair like crazy! Wore this dress for my senior prom and I absolutely loved it. Definitely a unique dress that no one else would have. I wore about a four inch heel with the dress, and it worked out great. the dress didn't touch the ground but it didn't show too much of my shoes either. I do have wide hips and it was a little snug, but still fit great. Showed off my curves, I guess? The material is so beautiful in person. Definitely recommend this dress!

From the moment I put this on, I was in love! Being a redhead and very fair, I'm hesitant to try anything with a red & hot pink combination, however I felt like this style would be the exception to the rule. I would recommend anyone under 5'6" to wear at least 3 to 4" heels with this style, as it does run pretty long, but with that you also have this gorgeous hem with so much flow added to it. It's pretty tight on my hip area, but I didn't feel the need to size up especially with spanx. The top of the dress is so unique, and definitely nothing like I have seen before. One of my favorites!

This dress definitely stood out while everyone else was wearing the latest designs from Dillard's (which would have been me, too, without RTR!). I was worried the 8R wouldn't fit, since I'm typically an 8-10, but it fit like a glove, flattered all the right spots and was the perfect length. The top portion was a little loose, which I'd read in the other reviews, but it wasn't anything noticeable. Watch out for the weird fabric though - it definitely wrinkled a lot, especially after a seated dinner. Overall a great choice for the ball!

I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras ball and it was a fun dress to wear! The colors were vibrant and the color block would be flattering on anyone. It fit really nice in my hips but was a little loose around my chest, I would suggest this more for an apple shape body or just someone who is a little fuller up top compared to the hips. It was definitely long so if you want to wear it you'll need the heels to go with it! The fabric is really nice, it felt sturdy but not constraining or thick. Overall I would recommend this dress!

The dress fit perfect ran true to size. Went to the Equality Florida Tampa Gala. Which is Tampa's celebration of Equality. We arrived in car service to the red carpet entrance and were taking pictures all night long. The worst part of the dress was having to send it back! Thanks Rent the Runway! Can't wait to get my next one!

The inner liner is tighter than the outer material. The dress is comfortable and truly compliment the curves on a woman. You will enjoy this dress along with the compliments!

I am usually a size 4 or 6, however, concern about my bust fitting led me to get a size 6 with a backup of an 8. The 6 fit but was a little loose around the waist. Additionally, it was loose in the bust so I needed to keep pulling it up and back near the shoulders to keep my bra from showing in the middle slot. The dress ran a little long but I was wearing 1.5 inch heels- taller heels would have prevented that. I was very comfortable all night and received loads of compliments both in person and on my social media profiles. I was also able to wear a regular bra which is my #1 MUST when picking out a dress. I also didn't have to wear spanx (but I did anyway). I would highly recommend this dress and RTR to anyone. Hope this review helps!

I'd seen this dress on the site, but it did not make my top 5 faves. However, my showroom stylist Brittany pulled this dress first. I ended up LOVING it! I'm a curvy girl and the fit was very flattering. The lining is slightly tighter than the material, so I was concerned about the pull in the hips, but I wore spanx and it was fine. The length was perfect. My heels were a bit shorter (about a 3 or 3.5) and were barely visible. I received a ton of compliments and it's the most liked pic on my IG and Facebook, lol! It's one of the pricier selections, but definitely worth every single penny! I wished I didn't have to return it :(. It definitely made my first Emmys experience amazing! Returned my dress yesterday and already placed my next order. Love RTR!

This dress has the best material. I wore it to a wedding brunch. I am normally a 2 and I wore the 0 and it was REALLY baggy on me. You cannot wear a bra. I wish it was more fitted. It runs very big. Order a size or two down. I cannot stress how large this dress runs. It was very long. I wore 5 inch heels with the regular and it was still too long. The dress doesn't have stretch to it. I would say if you are a size 4 to order the 0. It was that big. Too bad because it really was a lovely dress.

I ended up wearing my back up dress because I refuse to admit I gained 10 pounds:) The 8 was tight, as it should have been. I should have gotten the 10.

Rented this for my birthday party/girls weekend. It looked amazing on, felt fantastic, and plenty of room for all of my giggly bits.

I was so excited to receive this dress. I was hoping to wear it to a whimsical debutante ball. The 6L fit on the lower body but the top was too big. It gaped in the chest. This dress would probably look perfect on a larger busted woman (larger than a B cup.)

This dress was absolutely beautiful was too big for me to actually wear! I ordered my normal size 6 and a size 4 for the backup. The 6 was actually unavailable for them to send so they sent me a free replacement and thank goodness for that. I ended up wearing the replacement dress because my backup size 4 was still too large in the hips and i'm by no means narrow hipped. I'm usually a solid 6 and I know I would order a size 2 if I were to order this dress again. HOWEVER, the dress was so gorgeous. The fabric felt expensive and the color looked like the picture. I wish I could have worn it! :(

I did not end up wearing this dress to the wedding, not because it wasn't absolutely gorgeous but because I overestimated how formal the wedding was. So, with that being said, I went with something shorter. I hope to be able to rent this dress again in the future!

I did not end up wearing this dress. It was very pretty but a little lack luster on me, I think the 12 may have been to big and the 10 might have looked better. I ordered it as a back up and liked my first choice a lot more. Still overall great RTW experience.

Even cuter in person, but not for those with a short torso. With my short torso, the cut-outs went much lower than I was comfortable with. Would have been cute on someone with different proportions

This dress is beautiful! Even my husband said the dress was pretty and he rarely notices clothes at all. But, it was too long, even in five inch heels I had to pick it up to walk. Also, it was pretty loose in the bust. With a nice padded bra the dress stayed up fine, but there was still a lot of extra fabric rather than being fitted. I would have liked to try the 0R but RTR no longer offered that size. This dress is definitely made for someone taller and a bit bustier than I am to fill it out well.

I wanted to wear this dress so bad, but the middle section was incredibly baggy. The dress fit perfectly everywhere else except the mid-section.

I ended up unable to wear this dress for my event. It was true to fit. Unfortunately, my chest is oversized, so it got to my bra line, and I needed another couple of inches of material. However, even if it had zipped, I wouldn't have worn it as it only hit my ankle flat footed. Yuck! The description also says the dress has some stretch. But only the outer layer does. The inner lining has no stretch, which means it ain't gonna give. It's unfortunate, b/c it was quite pretty.

The size 4 was very tight in the hips, but the bust was still relatively loose. Since I wear a D bra, I was surprised. When I tried on the six, it was just a little too big everywhere.

i ordered it in 2 sizes (i am usually a 4) - the size 4 and the size 2 - and it was gigantic on me.
