Other reviews and recommendations on this dress are accurate, it runs a little small for size (at least the 4) and has nearly no give. I'm a 'small' 4 and squeaked by with a 4. Fabric and construction are very high quality, and the dress appeared new. The dress drew raves from many at this wedding (of all ages), and it was very unique in style,cut and color. I used the special 'tape' provided by RTR to hold it perfectly across the chest, as I am 6" shorter than the nodel in the picture! Overall excellent choice and worth the cost.

The dress was a snug fit and but was very comfortable. It was also a good length right at above knees so very appropriate for weddings and yet a fashionable piece for party later. My first RTR and will definitely be re-using it. Highly recommend getting 2 different sizes as a precaution, I usually size up or down based on the dress fit.

The dress ran a little small, I ordered a size up. It was hard to get the zipper up. Once I had it on, it felt fine.

Perfect proportions! The cut is impeccable, and the materials camouflage anything you don't love about your hips. Nips in at the waist-- love the interior architecture there-- and the neckline would be flattering on anyone. Hem was a little longer on me than on the model (that's a good thing). Was able to sit, dance, eat, and basically have a blast all night without thinking twice about the dress!

This dress was unreal. So, so flattering. Makes your waist look tiny, and the cut and the shoulder draping make this dress so unique. You're guaranteed to get a ton of people asking about where it's from (it happened to me!). The material is a little thicker, so it's definitely not for summer. But I might rent this again for a wedding I have coming up in the late Fall - would be perfect! Warning: does run a little small. Had to really suck in to get the last bit of the zipper all the way up!

This was my first order from RtR and after this experience, I can't wait to place another order! I ordered a size 2 & 4 ... depending on vanity sizing, I'm sometimes a 2. But the 4 fit amazingly well and I didn't even try on the 2. Though if I had to critique the fit, it was the teeny tiniest bit snug in the hips since the skirt has no give and I'm a bit pear shaped. I received many compliments on my dress, even compliments the next day after the wedding. The dress was exactly as pictured, the materiel felt exactly as expected, and I would recommend this dress. Loved it and my whole experience with RtR!

Rented this for KY Oaks, but wore it the day before instead. Received a ton of compliments. Only "con" is specific to people like me with hips: it runs small, and you're constantly pulling it down. I'm small up top, with bigger hips, so struggle with this problem a lot. The material around the waist bunches up a bit if your hips are like mine, but the dress is otherwise beautiful.

I loved the dress overall and got many compliments! The material felt amazing and it came in really good shape. I usually wear a 6-8 but felt that the size 8 was too snug, the 10 fit more comfortably. The biggest problem I had was getting the zipper past the waist portion where the dress is the tightest. You have to get the zipper really parallel (if that makes sense..) to have it zip smoothly. It took a lot of work on my husbands part to get it zipped but once it got zipped, I didn't want to take it off:) I was glad I went a size bigger. I will be using RTR again soon for my brother's wedding!!

I really liked the vivid color and different style of the dress. The material is a little on the heavy side and a bit rougher than I expected, but it was fine for a Labor Day weekend evening wedding. I was a little worried it'd be too small since I didn't have it in a backup size, but the 2 fit fine. It was a little snug at the hips and a little loose up top, but really nothing too off. I wore nude platform pumps since the dress went a little longer on me (short legs) but still hit right around my knees. I don't have any great full-length photos but I uploaded some so you could see how the dress draped.

Rented this for a wedding and absolutely loved it. I would say it runs a little small but not too bad. I usually wear a 4 in dresses (sometimes a 2 depending on the dress) and a 4 fit. I would say curvier girls should probably not rent this dress as it does not have much give. Overall, I loved it.

This dress was perfect. It's extremly stylish and made me stand out in a sea of dresses that all looked the same. I'm 5-4 and I felt it was a tad long. It was ok. I could have used a temp him but skipped due to time. I choose nude shoes that longated my legs since the length was longer than what I'm use to wearing. I normally wear a size 0 and due to my bust size 34B I had to wear a strapless bra to make the top fit. I'd recommend a size 2 if your a zero bc when sitting down the dress seemed to be tighter.

This dress was a hit, and I received a lot of positive feedback on the photos I posted. The color is bright, the fabric is rich and beautiful and I loved the change in fabric and pattern on the bottom. The dress was knee-length, waist cinching, comfortable to dance in and an all-around great choice for the event. Downsides: I'm a 34D and wore a bustier and a spanx-like skirt under the dress. This was a perfect choice, since the waist is pretty fitted but the zipper was VERY DIFFICULT. I don't know if it was from over use or previous renter abuse, but there was nothing obvious. If you have big boobs and need to pull up a side-zipper, you could understand how this took 15 minutes (including taking the dress off to make sure the zipper wasn't actually broken). The zipper was a 2 person job, and the dress was not overly fitted on me, it definitely was a perfect fit otherwise, apart from the 2nd issue I had with the dress: the bust area was stretched out. Whoever rented the dress beforehand either had a significantly larger bust or the dress just has a larger chest area/the bust is supposed to be a bit looser? This made it so that I had to make sure the bustier wasn't showing under neath my right arm, since the white fabric sometimes peeked out. It wasn't a big deal, but it was a nuisance. Apart from that, I was so excited to wear the dress and I enjoyed every minute I had it on. I was able to eat and dance while still looking pretty great, the only responsibilities of a wedding guest.

Beautiful dress but was way too small.

I really wish I could have worn this dress. Unfortunately, the cut didn't work on me. I am on the tall side (5'11") and even though most of my height is in my legs I occasionally come across a dress that isn't long enough in the torso for me. The top of this dress fit well and the bottom fit well but I needed a few more inches of fabric separating the two halves. The waist of the dress hit me much higher than my natural waist causing the hip/butt shaping seams to hit well above my belly button, creating a "roll" of loose fabric. I imagine this dress would look great on someone shorter or even on someone with narrower hips.

You could tell the material of this dress was well made and high quality, although the zipper situation on both the size 6 & 8 dress was a bit tricky. There is a built in belt at the waistline of this dress - the pink material is a thicker material, therefore making the zipper difficult to zip past the belt area. It was a beautiful dress, but ended up wearing another dress due to the zipper situation

This dress is really well constructed and made out of a great hot pink wool crape. The color was a little less shiny that online and it looked great. Unfortunately I had to size up to an 8 to get it over my big hips and it was way too large in the waist and shoulder so I had to go with a backup. It would be a knockout on someone with the right body type.

This dress was beautiful and very on trend. However, it was way too small for me to zip up. I hate side zippers, and this dress was just too snug at my waist, hips and bust. I wear a 10 and sometimes an 8, so I highly recommend sizing up. Ultimately I wore a different RTR dress.

The dress runs small and doesn't give at all. High quality material, but not for everyone. Hourglass shapes should order a size up.
