Rented this for a black tie wedding and was not disappointed! It was easily one of the best guest dresses -- got so many compliments! The dress was a bit long in the chest/shoulder area and I wish I had listened to the other reviews and remembered to use my fashion tape, but I was never worried about the dress slipping too much. It was also a little tight in the rib cage area, but not enough to be terribly uncomfortable. I definitely recommend getting your second size a size up.

This dress was pretty true to size! It’s perfect for an hourglass frame. I have a pretty big bust, cup size H and this dress was perfect! I would recommend a low cut bra, peekaboo cups. I felt so elegant in this dress.

LOVED this dress, I wish I owned it! Super comfy, stretchy material plus the bonus of wearing your own bra! The shoulders did slip a tiny bit, but I got away without using tape. I'm a curvy 5'10" (200 lbs, 36F) and I wear a Med/Large top and a size 12 bottom, but the 14L fit perfectly. The tightest part of the gown is the waistband but it hits mid-rib cage, not at your natural waist. I didn't have any zipper issues, and I wore very low heels and found the length perfect.

I absolutely loved having this dress as my maid of honor dress. The material of the dress is soft from the inside! I felt comfortable through the entire wedding. My only con was that the zipper from the back is just a regular inexpensive zipper so it felt like I could break it while pulling it up. I had my husband assist me with the zipper so that I wouldn't tug on it too much. Get this dress!! It's elegant, stunning, & formal.

Fit well, looked shimmery and beautiful. For jewelry i found rose gold matched better than a gold. Chest was perfect size, 36g.

I wore this dress to a masquerade murder mystery event. Fit was great and I should have worn the size 8 but didn't double check the tag and got them mixed up. Didn't matter though the stretch to the fabric was fantastic and it fit well. The V neck is so flattering and I loved that I was able to wear a bra. Such a beautiful color this is a versatile dress for any formal event.

I ordered this dress for maternity photos in my third trimester (37 weeks). I normally wear a 16L, so I ordered the 18L for belly room. The top ran big on me since I sized up, but I was still able to make it work! I liked that the cut of the shoulders allowed me to wear a regular bra, and didn't require me to purchase a new strapless or shape-wear. This dress is very comfortable and glamorous! waist has a tiny bit of give, sequins were a beautiful color and perfect for the wedding I attended. low cut in the front but I used b**b tape and fabric tape and it worked perfectly! I'm 5'2' and needed 3.5 inch heels to keep the R length off the ground, and when i switched to sandals i had to hold the dress up when i walked, so taller people may want the longer option.

My only complaint is that the zipper was a real pain in the behind. Oi. It took 3 people and a bobby pin to pull the zipper past the waist band. And the dress was not too tight. The zipper was just bad.

This dress fit me like a glove! It accentuated my curves and hugged me in all the right places. I received compliments all night! Especially since I lost a lot of weight, I was excited to wear a size 16. Plus, since it's was long, when I changed out of my heels you couldn't even see the difference. Definitely recommend!

The dress I originally ordered turned out to be unavailable, so this was a backup. But now I'm so glad I wore this instead! It was for my college sorority's 20th anniversary gala, which was a Gatsby theme, and this dress was perfect. The 2P was the perfect length, and I'm really short. The bodice/bust was a little tight, but doable. I couldn't wear a bra with it, but it mostly wasn't a problem. All in all, highly recommended! I felt so fancy and still comfy!

I had a hard time finding a dress worn by my height and body type. So i went on a limb and got this one plus another for backup. Went with this one. It was for a masquerade ball. I'm 6'1, 245#, 40 DD, Apple shape. The dress was true to size 18w. I got the long and it was a tad shorter than I'd prefer. Hit at the ankle. It's hard to zip alone so i had my babysitter help me out. Dang zipper was not zipping. We put a tiny bit of wd40 on the stuck zipper because she could not get it up for the life of her. Thank you Jesus it zipped because this was the only option i had (back up dress was hideous--in my opinion, full skirts on a dress make tall plus size look more plus size) Top is a bit big. Even with 40 DD i was worried about nipple slip without a bra. I wore my strapless and was fine. The shape of dress was flattering for my mid section. Would wear again but am excited to try other styles as well.

Fit just as expected

I usually have a problem of finding dresses that fit well because I am much smaller on top than in my hips/butt. This dress fit so well, and I could wear a real bra! It was so beautiful - I got compliments all night. I did end up getting the Long size because girls in other reviews said it was short. I probably would have been fine in a regular length, but glad I got the long so it hit the ground (I wore black shoes and wish I had gone with a nude).

I loved this dress! Took a little work to get it zipped, because I had no clue what size I would need at 33 weeks pregnant. But it worked great. I safety pinned the bra straps at the top and closed the front a little more. Everyone loved and tons of compliments! I felt comfortable the whole evening in it. I would normally get a shorter length, but I knew the bump would pull the bottom up, so the regular length hit the floor just right!

The dress was beautiful and I got so many compliments. The zipper was really hard and you need someone else around to help you zip it. The sequence made it a little hard to dance but totally worth it. Its a great dress and made me feel super comfortable the whole night.

I was hesitant at first to rent a dress without ever trying it on but it worked out well! The dress fit like a dream and arrived exactly when the company said it would. I originally rented for a New Year's Gala the library I work for was hosting but the event ending up being cancelled. I hated the idea of letting such a gorgeous dress go to waste so with the help of a friend it became the star of an impromptu photo shoot. The fit was great for my body type and curves, showcasing my waist and hiding my more "trouble" areas like my hips and my tummy. The only issue I have is a I'm fairly tall and I ordered the long, but with a pair of low heels it was almost too short. I expected the fabric to be itchy and uncomfortable but it wasn't, however, you're for sure going to need help with that zipper! The bust fit well for me, but for someone with a smaller chest you'll probably want a safety pin to keep it from gaping, I ended up using some fashion tape just to make sure nothing would show in the photos. Overall I was very impressed and already shopping Rent the Runway for my next event--a Valentine's Day photo shoot!

This dress was gorgeous, flattering and caught everyones eye. Comfortable

The dress is gorgeous and and photographs well. I was frequently stopped during the night with compliments on how he dress looked. It does fit true to size but it was not as long as I expected. I wore flats which were covered but if I would have worn my heels, the dress would have come to my ankles. The bust area was tight but with the way that the dress was made, it made it possible to wear a regular bra instead of strapless. The dress cinches in at the waist which gives a great hourglass figure. I had room in the hip area with the help of a high waist spanx. The material was great unless you scraped your arm on it, a little scratchy. All in all a great dress for any formal party or event.

Pros: so comfortable and makes everything look great, accentuates curves. Cons: heavy but wasn't bothersome

Cons-It was still a little long. Zipper was a bit tough to pull up and the top band under the bust gave no room for stretch. Cleavage will definately show so have some double sided tape if you want to be more modest. Pro- I felt beautiful in this dress. Very glamorous, no need for jewelry. Silhouette is flattering and plenty of room for a baby bump. I was 4 months pregnant.

I wore this as a bridesmaid and it worked out so well. The bride loved it and I got a ton of compliments! I got 2 sizes and went with the size 8--there's a little bit of stretch to the dress, so the smaller of the 2 sizes I got worked well for me. No issues with itchy sequins or anything-the dress was really comfortable! No complaints here-loved it.

Rented this dress for our engagement photos and I couldn't be more happy that I did! This gown is gorgeous and looks amazing in photos! I would highly recommend! Runs a little snug so I would suggest upsizing! I'm glad I had the size up as the backup!

The dress fit absolutely beautifully. The second I tried it on, I knew it was the one! It looks incredible in photos. I wore comfortable heels and never wanted to take the dress off! I did wear a bra with it but you could get away with not. Also, my chandelier diamond earrings were a perfect addition to the dress. I hope I can post a full length photo later on...when the photographer at the party sends me a link to them.

This dress fit perfectly! I ordered a size 8 and 10. I ended up wearing the 8 and it fitted perfectly! I felt flawless in the dress. The 10 was too big in the shoulder area. the dress did keep dragging on the floor and I wore a 4 inch heel. But I am on the shorter side. I received so many compliments from my friends and family. My boyfriend said I looked gorgeous! I wore this dress for my Senior Ball in college, I was so sad when I had to return the dress! I will definitely be ordering from RTR again!

It does run big. I normally wear a size 4 so i rented a 0L and 2L. Both of them zipped and fit; however the 2 was just more comfortable and a little longer. I didn't wear any shoes with it for the pictures, but if I had decided to wear heels I probably would have preferred the XL length. Highly recommend this dress!

This dress is simply incredible. I received tons of compliments and my ego had grown exponentially by the end of the night. :-) I tend to be a tad more conservative, so this dress took me a little out of my comfort zone. I'm so glad I took a risk. It paid off big time. One of the best gowns I've ever worn. Absolutely stunning.
