I wore this to a black-tie gala in NYC and received many compliments. It was quite short (esp. when sitting down). The cut is very low, but I'm small up top so it fit fine. I wore my hair up to avoid having it tangled in the sequins. It was very comfortable. I wore it with nude stockings since it was so cold out, and I didn't love that. This is better worn without stockings, so preferably in a warmer climate. Would be fun for any party where sparkle is required!

Wore this to a 1920's themed work Christmas party, received so many compliments on it! The color was very pretty, paired it with some Jessica Simpson nude patent leather heels. RTR never disappoints!!:)

I wore this dress for a 20's themed Murder Mystery party. I got a ton of compliments on my outfit all night, it really fit the theme! The dress was a little snug on the bottom -- I really needed a 0 on top and a 4 on the bottom. I wore a pearl necklace from RTR which helped keep the top part on throughout the night, but with some fashion tape it would've stayed on. My hair was up in a faux-bob, but it did get stuck in the sequins and pieces got pulled out throughout the night -- this would be really annoying if my hair was down (I have waist-length hair). Overall, the dress was a huge hit and I loved to wear it!

Beautiful dress, flattering for a bigger chest, but not so flattering if you have a bigger bottom. The ruffles tend to add to the volume on the bottom. Overall, it was stunning and I got tons of compliments!

Wore this to a Gatsby themed party. I had to fix a tear & the zipper in the size 6 that I ordered only to discover that it was VERY short when I sat down, The tops of my stockings showed and I'm only 5'0. Luckily I had ordered the 8 for backup. It was a bit too big in the top so used double sided tape but the length was just right. The top was a bit scratchy under the arms but the dress was gorgeous and I got tons of compliments.

The dress fit perfectly - other reviews mentioned being too big in the bust, I found no problem with that (34C). I opted to go without the removable sash because it was too bulky (plus my girlfriends made me a bachelorette sash anyway). The dress was so fun, comfortable, and I didn't have a problem with it being too short (but I am 5'4"). Also, I think it looked more gold than silver. Overall, I would totally recommend for any girls night out!

It fit well but the dress has a deep V neck. I was a little worried few times that I was going to "fall out" of it. The sparkles make you feel like you should be at a NYE party. The ruffles on the bottom really make the dress and are flattering. I have a thin waist and wider hips and I really loved the fit of it. There is a belt that helps define your waist. I wear a 4 in Express usually but wore this dress in a size 6 just because I was more comfortable in it than the 4.

Love love loved the dress! Wore it to a very classy evening wedding at a 100 year old mansion. RTR really saved my tush this time, because the first dress I ordered was just all wrong and was actually damaged too. They were able to overnight me 2 sizes of this dress right to the hotel I was flying into and they were waiting for me at check-in. Like others said, the dress was pretty short, and since I have quite the booty, I went ahead and bought a pair of little nude colored shorties so I wasn't self conscience the whole night. I didn't think it was too low cut like others mentioned, nor did the sequins irritate my arms while I danced all night. Sitting was a little uncomfortable because of the length but I didn't stay seated long so that wasn't a big problem. Also, I thought it was weird that I got a 6 & an 8, and somehow the 6 was bigger than the 8. Over all, I really loved it, got lots of complements and people couldn't believe it was from RTR. Can't wait for my next rental in 2 weeks :)

The dress was a little slim through the hips, but other than that, it fit perfect! It was so classy but still fun! I received TONS of compliments on it. Such a fun dress to wear!

I wore this dress to a Gatsby-themed Christmas party and it was a hit. I received so many compliments - strangers even asked me to take photos with them! I typically wear a size 0 but ended up wearing my size 2 backup. The 0 was a bit tight across my bum (which means Pilates has been working to make it more bubbly!) and I liked that the 2 had a more dramatic V in front (though I did use a safety pin to close it up a bit). It seemed like the 0 had stitching halfway up the chest to close the V and the 2 might have had the same stitching at one time but it was torn by wear. No worries! The safety pin did the job. This was my first rental and the whole process was so easy and fun that I can't wait to do it again!

I'm beyond satisfied with this dress! Very nice fit. I normally wear size 0 which they didn't have, so I went with size 2, but it still fit perfectly. Since I'm not tall, I'm amazed that it still sat above my knees which was perfect! I don't have big boobs, but I just LOVE the deep V neck that created the illusion of having bigger boobs (in addition to wearing a wireless push-up bra). I also love how sparkle the top was and the flat ruffles at the bottom. Very nice contrast. Love the color, too. Not too pink. And it matched perfectly with my nude pumps.

This was even more beautiful than the picture shown on the website. The dress is VERY low cut, but I had been warned by other reviewers before I rented the dress. Because I have a larger bust, I chose to wear a cute shawl to cover things up most of the night. I could see where the top might be pretty loose for those with a smaller chest. Only bummer, like some others mentioned, the tie belt was not included when I received the dress. It turned out okay but I was a little disappointed. Other reviewers were also right about it scratching you under the arms. Overall, this is a great party dress and I would definitely recommend it!

This dress was stunning. I received so many compliments. I felt the whole room was staring at me as I walked by. It layed perfectly on my tiny frame. Perfect length for my short legs. You may want to rethink if you are a tall lady. The top part of the sequence rubs against your inner arms. There was a lot of dancing involved, so by the end of the night/morning my inner arms were itchy. Still worth it though. Size 4 fit well, but I went with a 2 for a tighter fit.

I wore this dress for my surprise birthday party/halloween. I went as Daisy Buchanan and my boyfriend went as Jay Gatsby. This was the perfect dress for the occasion! The sparkle on top wasn't too itchy and I was extremely comfortable in it. The subtle ruffles on the bottom were so pretty and flattering. The day before the event, RTR sent me two size 6's by accident and to make up for it they shipped my proper size (8) (throwing in the Dress Me Up Necklace for free) to our hotel in Atlantic City with rushed over night delivery. It came the morning of the event and looked fabulous. The customer service of RTR can not be rivaled. I will continue to use them for my major events.

I had a "Kissing My Roaring 20s Goodbye" party and rented this amazing dress. This was my first rental with RTR. The whole experience was amazing, easy and fun! I ordered the 4 and the 6. The 6 was longer and comfy but the 4 held everything in place better! :) It was definitely shorter, but hey you only turn 30 once so I decided to rock it! ;) It was a tiny but itchy under the arms but after a cocktail who noticed? Not me! I didn't have a problem at all with the neckline, Im a small B cup. I was able to wear a VS strapless that already had with no problems! I would definitely recommend this dress and RTR in general. It was an unforgettable party and RTR helped make it all happen!

This dress is gorgeous and photographs so well. It is really low but because of the sequins I didn't have to wear a bra, just used some double stick tape to make sure it stayed in place. I did not find it too short as others have said, and besides being low the fit was true to size. Also because the straps are so thick even though it's low, it doesn't come off as too revealing, just the right amount for a special occasion! Great for a holiday party!

Rented for a specific cocktail competition/party attended while in Vegas. Got both the 10 and the 8, ended up wearing the 8. The bottom on the 10 fit better but the bust was huge. Ended up in the 8 and after wearing for 30 minutes, it fit like a glove. Not sure I'd rent again because of opportunity to wear but definitely recommend to others!

This dress is perfect! I normally wear a size 0, so I rented the 0 and got the size 2 as a back-up. The size 0 fit me perfectly; however; the style of this dress makes it a little shorter. Due to this, I went with the 2 for added length. Since I am a tad busty, I didn't need any fashion tape to secure the top, and I was even able to wear a bra without it showing. If you aren't at least a C-cup though, I'd recommend getting some fashion tape to make sure everything stays in place. The picture doesn't even capture the true essence of the dress. The top sparkles beautifully, and the belt defines the waist really well. I got so many compliments on this dress, and I felt fabulous all night. I will definitely be Renting the Runway again!

This was my first experience with RTR (I was super nervous) and am soooo happy with my experience! My order came exactly on time, in the cutest little box with samples and an adorable carry bag. The dress fit true to size and was perfectly sparkly and fun for my bachelorette party! I received SO many compliments!! Be warned, the neck line is VERY low, even with double stick tape I had trouble. But overall a great experience and I cant wait to rent my next dress:)

True to size, I loved it and got compliments all night long. I have a D cup and it was def a "boob dress" so if that't not a look you are going for and you are busty you may want to pass this one over! The only con - as with all sequin dresses, is it really rubbed against the inside of my arms and that hurt a bit.

I felt like a gem all night long and received numerous compliments! I could have gone a size down but it was a little too short when I sat down so I was nervous about that. The bra situation is a little weird so make sure you have enough time to sort that out before walking out the door. Overall the dress was super comfortable and arrived perfectly on time and in great condition. Sad to send it back!

I wore this for a Roaring 20s party and loved that it had a touch of retro glam with some modern flair as well. It fit great - really comfy - and I got lots of compliments.

This dress is awesome! The sequins are more of a peachy/gold color than silver and it fit true to size. Its comfortable and easy to move in. Nude heels are perfect for this dress and I wore gold jewelry. Everyone was giving me compliments all night!

This dress was gorgeous and even better in pictures! So glad I was provided with two sizes its definitely low cut in the top, I ended up wearing the size 6 although it was a little shorter than I liked. The size 8 was too lose in the top. It fit perfect the skirt was pretty snug but it wasn't so tight that I was uncomfortable. The sequins did hurt my arms after awhile but it was so worth it! I got compliments all night. So sad I had to send it back! I will definitely be back to RTR for our next wedding!

The fit is comfortable and the sash really defines your waist! The sequins aren't itchy at all!

I wore this dress for a fraternity formal party called "Wine and Cheese". Even at the pregame for the event, girls were complementing me nonstop. They were both in love with the dress and surprised that I would wear something so sparkly, which I don't normally do. The sparkly nature of the dress make it much more fun, and therefore made me have way more fun, dance more, and act more playful in this dress. It fit either just right or even a little bit big. I ordered a 4 and that's what I wore, but instead of ordering a 6 as a back-up, I should have ordered a 2. Also, this dress is not for girls that don't want their cleavage everywhere--I am a 32DD and felt like I was about to burst. So I had to act a little more cautious and use a little boob tape here and there, but when I did that, the problem was solved. It might work better if you're smaller than a DD. Either way, I recommend this dress. It's beautiful, comfortable, fun, and very sexy.

The dress fit perfectly. I tried the size 0 and it was fitted. I was worried about cleavage but it worked out fine. It's a bit short, I am 5'4 and look where it is on my legs (see pics) so if you are very tall...it may not be the right dress for you. I looks very expensive! and I got compliments from people. I don't know what I would have done without RTR!

I ordered this dress for a military cocktail party in Las Vegas--the sequins were perfect and the dress was fun and sexy! I ordered a 4 and a 6 but went with the 6 because it was a little longer. No issues with sequins and I was surprised that both dresses they sent looked BRAND NEW! The whole experience was amazing and I will NEVER purchase a formal dress again! I wore the dress with a sticky bra and overall it was very comfortable to wear. I usually wear a size 6 ,but I wore a 4, however the top was a little large while the skirt runs small with little stretch but it worked for my apple shaped body!

I rented this dress for my 'Roaring 20's' themed birthday party and it was perfect! The dress photographs silvery on top, but the sequins are a coppery color. The fit was great! You will definately need to utilize double-stick tape in the cleavage area, and the fabric on the bottom gives so it's not super tight. The sequins do tend to irritate the skin under your arms but it wasn't unbearable.I got so many compliments on this dress and it was a huge hit! I absolutely reccommend this dress for a night out!

I couldn't wear it with heels( my date isn't tall) but it would have looked amazing in heels ! Also the sash really makes the outfit but I took it off to dance in because it didn't stay tied all that well .. It was a tad itchy under the arms but it fit amazing !

I normally wear an 8 especially in the bust and this one ran big, even the 6 was still kinda big on top. I had to use a good amount of Hollywood tape. But that said this dress is a show stopper. I wore it for our first date as Mr and Mrs out in Chicago. I had 2 women at Pops and 2 more at Processco stop me with compliments. I can't wait to have an event where I can wear this dress again!

The color was different in person than in the model photo. The skirt is more brown than nude and the top is more of a blush/rose gold, however in pictures, it looks the same. I wore it with champagne color shoes. The top is very low cut. I am a D cup, and definitely need towear a bra. I just pinned it with a safety pin. if you have a smaller chest I think this dress would look fabulous with no bra & some fashion tape. the ruffles are very figure flattering. I was bloated that day but you couldn't tell. I wish I could rent this dress again!! I received lots of compliments all night and off the pictures I posted.
