I'm very picky about what dresses I wear because I want it to be something no one else will wear. This dress was spectacular because it was classy, but fun. The sleeves added that extra special something to the dress. Being tall I was a little worried about the length but it was perfect. The dress was a little tight over by large butt and hips, but it was fine. The dress was a little loose around the stomach so it was good for camouflaging what you just ate. Definitely, my favorite dress that I've worn to date. Besides, Carrie Underwood wore this dress, so it has to be fabulous.

The Fit was perfect. It was very comfortable also. I had over 30 people tell me they loved my dress! My husband wasn't sold on this whole "renting" thing but after her head all the complements, he was totally for it :)

I totally would have worn this dress to my event but it got stuck in shipping due to a snowstorm. RTR was awesome and overnights me a different dress, but this one came the following Monday, so I had to try it on! The color is an interesting hue of blue. They only sent me a size 12 even though I typically wear a 10. I would think the 10 would have fit, but it would have been right through the hips because this 12 fit just right through the hip but a little bigger in the midsection.

This dress was beautiful for a charity ball! It showed up great in pictures and was a great length. I rented the earrings RTR suggested and they paired nicely. The dress is forgiving, I like to think it runs a little large but maybe I was feeling larger than usual when I rented.

It fit perfectly except being a bit tight around the shoulders and arms.

I rented this dress for my senior band banquet! I definitely was a little too overdressed, but hey it fit the theme of the party ( which was space themed) and I just had to wear it cause I had my eye on it for a while :) only thing I had a problem with was it being a little 2 short for me.

This is the perfect birthday dress. I wore this out to dinner with my fiancé and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. Comfortable and just the right length for a "party" dress without being too short. Loved it!

This was the most perfect dress. It doesn't have any stretch, but it doesn't need any. It was the perfect length on me, but I'm only 5'3''. If I had been taller it might have been a little short.

My shoulders are broad, my chest is ample, I am short and I just turned the big 50. I could get the size 10 zipped, but no. The size 12 was wonderful. The photo is without any control so once I added my spankx it was all good. In fact the size 12 was much more blue than the 10 so I have a feeling that the larger sizes maybe are not worn as often. With all the complaints about the sequins catching I was afraid to wear a bracelet, but I didn't have any trouble. I was careful about the lining showing since everyone complained about that too. I don't know why the lining just isn't another 1/2 inch shorter. I wore this to a really fun dinner theater event in Seattle. It made me feel special. The only hassle was trying to find a UPS drop box, they are not necessarily where the website say they are, but that has nothing to do with the dress. Oh and I used a photo taken that night for my Christmas card, bonus!

The dress fit true to size, and was a more straight dress. Looks awesome in pictures.

RTR contacted me the day before delivery to inform me the 2nd size I had ordered wasn't in any condition to be sent out and I could pick any dress at any price as my back up. How classy. I love this site, this just made it 100x better. The dress ended up fitting perfect and I loved it. Of course I'll be renting again. This dress was perfect and so many compliments! Well done RTR.

I was extremely happy with this dress. RTR didn't have the size I thought I wanted (a 2) so I only got my back-up size (a 4) which actually ended up being perfect. As others have said, it runs a little small and it's really tight at the bottom hem, which is also short. I don't think I could have worn the 2! Anyway, one other thing that was also true from other reviewers is that the lining peeks out at the bottom hem unless you use tape (which I didn't have). You can see that in the photo. All that aside, it was a gorgeous, stunning dress. I got compliments on it from friends and strangers alike as a family-friend's wedding. It was a hot little number, and quite sexy without being revealing. I felt like a million bucks. This was my first RTR experience and it was a hit! I would happily rent this again!

This dress is true to size. I normally wear a 4 or 6, but only the 6 was available. Didn't find it tight in the hips at all, but I have narrow hips. Wore it to a family wedding and it was fun and appropriate. Classy dress, sexy, but not in a va va voom sort of way. Highly recommend!

My order came on time with no issues-- I tried the size two on first and it fit great, if anything it was a tiny bit big on me, so I didn't even bother trying on the size 4. The dress was perfect for the occasion and made me feel glamorous! My only complaint was that sometimes the sequins on the sleeves would get caught on the dress but other than that it was perfect!

This dress is just gorgeous!! It's also more fitted in the hips than I expected, so keep that in mind. Lots of compliments ... would definitely rent again!

I usually wear an 8 but I got a size 10 in case and luckily I did because the 8 although it fit, it was tight in the arm pit area. The dress is also pretty form fitting so much so that the lining underneath showed at the bottom at certain times. It didn't really bother me but I could see it bothering other people. The dress was beautiful and I'm happy I rented it for my bAchelorette weekend.

Pro: Was a great fit, hugged in all the right places. Con: Women with bigger breasts (I'm a small B) may find it fitting tight around the chest.

I loved, loved, loved this dress. So comfortable but so flattering. I wore this to an outdoor/indoor wedding and although it was very warm out, the dress was not too hot. I received many compliments, and I would definitely rent this dress for another occasion! I did almost wear the size 2 due to the hip area being a bit constrictive. In the end, the 0 fit better elsewhere and ended up being just fine. If you have a curvier figure though, I would suggest ordering your normal size and one size up, as other reviewers have recommended. I highly recommend this dress!

LOVED this dress!!! I looked great and fit pretty true to size. Be careful who you stand next to in this....the sequins got caught on everything. My best friend (who also rented from RENT THE RUNWAY in the teal dress) and I got stuck together several times. But overall....LOVED this dress!!!

This was my NYE dress and it did not disappoint!! The dress ran true to size and is not super tight fitting so I didn't have to worry about how much I ate at dinner. Definite plus! I did notice the sequins could get a little clingy on objects but it wasn't too much that it became annoying. Would definitely rent again!

The dress was rather a tight fit, which was a little different than the style I aimed for (thought itd be loose and short). But fit very well and I felt sexy and glamorous. Highly recommended!

I ordered a 0 and 2 in this dress but was contacted by RTR staff that the previous renter had ruined the 0. The 2 was a little looser in the abdomen than I wished, but fit perfectly on my hips and chest. This dress was an appropriate length for my 6'0" frame - it hit midthigh and wasn't too short when I was seated. I loved the sparkle! There were a few loose strings but I just tucked them up under the hem because I was worried if I trimmed them it would start losing its sequins. Definitely worth the $30!

I loved the sequence on this dress. It made me feel a little more dressed up. I could have easily worn the 0, but ended up going with the 2 so that I could dance a little easier. The 0 was a little on the tight side around my thighs.

Tighter in the hips then I thought it would be..good thing I got a size larger than I usually wear! The rest of the dress was true to size but the hip area was tight. Still looked amazing though..I loved this dress!

For starters, this dress was an absolute joy to wear. I hated to send it back! The color and sparkles were absolutely gorgeous. This dress is extremely classy, retro and beautifully unique. You are sure to stand out from the usual dresses. I ordered sizes 0 and 2. Both fit but I ended up wearing the size 2 for conservative purposes. The 0 was just a smidge too short. Other than the length, didn't really notice anything different in the two sizes. As far as the sparkles go, the sleeves only got snagged on the dress once, and it wasn't an issue at all. The only issue I had with the dress being that the size 2's - which I wore - slip was slightly longer than the dress, unless I pulled it down. I'm guessing it was due to some sort of alteration, being that the size 0 did not have that problem. Personally, it was kind of annoying having to pull it down, but honestly it was my own mind, I'm positive no one else noticed the slip. Other than the slip issue, there was nothing else wrong with this dress. Definitely recommend it!

The fit is very true to size. I am curvy so the dress was snug in the bust and butt area, but that did not take away from anything. I would absolutely wear this dress again!

I went to the opera with my mother for her birthday. This dress was beautiful and appropriate with just the right amount of sparkle. The sequins do catch on each other (and my hair) occasionally, but overall, it was a perfect dress for the event. Thank you!!!

I normally wear and rent a 2-4. Per the advice of rtr consultant I rented a size up for back up (4 , 6). There was little to no difference in size from 4 to the 6. Also, the sequin patches are not located in the most flattering areas, but I liked the dress overall.

Dress fit true to size. I'm 5'10'' so it was a little short, but I just had to be careful when sitting down. Otherwise everything was perfect. RTR customer service was amazing and I can't wait to rent my next dress!

I have a big butt, so this was tight around the seat and hips. There is zero give in it. I had to wear the bigger size to fit it on the bottom. The smaller would have fit my top. However even when I put on the bigger size the top still fit nicely. All in all I loved this dress!

I rented this dress for a New Year's Eve wedding and loved it. It fit perfectly and the beading was beautiful. I'm petite so I was concerned it would look big and baggy on me and it didn't. I would definitely recommend this dress.

Out of the 2 sizes I ended up going a size up because the fabric doesn't have any natural give to it and I wanted to be able to sit comfortably.

I rented this dress for a party. I ordered the size 12 and size 10. Unfortunately the 12 came without sleeves so I ended up wearing the 10. I would have preferred the 12 but I loved the 10 too. the dress is short but you get away with it because of the long sleeves. Overall a great winter dress and I great experience with RTR.

I LOVE THIS DRESS! I wore it to a formal Rehearsal Dinner at Ruth's Chris in Miami and it was a hit! The dress was so comfortable and fit like a dream. I really felt like a rock star. The sheer sleeves were perfect for the Miami weather in late December, especially since it was quite windy the night I wore the dress. I am recovering from a broken foot so I had to wear an unsightly walking boot with it, but the dress was so amazing that no one even noticed the ginormous boot. I hate to be cliche, but I really did not want to send this dress back! My heart still yearns for this beautiful cocktail dress. I will definitely be renting this again!

My dress for the wedding was actually Badgley Mischka so I know the designer fits my body type well, but I was nervous for sure! The length was PERFECT for my height, that was what I was most nervous about. It was fairly loose around the middle which I'm fine with, but was still totally flattering. I didn't even try the 2, because I know things are usually long on me and I tried the 0 first hoping the length would be ok, it was not too short but definitely showed off my legs, which for some reason i can never find dresses that are the perfect length like this one!

I rented this dress for NYE in Vegas and loved it! I will say that it is not as slimming as it looks on the model, so I had to pin it in the back. Other than that it was great!
