Black tie worthy gown that skims the body. Length was good with 2 1/2 inch heels.

I am overall so impressed with Rent the Runway! I needed some gowns for a photo session and I picked two that I thought might look okay on me without trying them on. Wow! Both gowns were so beautiful and fit like a glove!

Couldn’t not love this dress more! Mobility is a bit limited because of how snug it is butt/hips but looks perfect! The deep v neck is especially great for this small chested. Super flattering and comfy overall!

This was a great black formal dress. I received a lot of compliments, however the sizing was off. I am 58 and weigh 140 and based on other reviews I got an 8 & a 10. The size 10 fit, but it was very snug and a little uncomfortable in the rib cage. But it fit perfectly in the boobs. if I had ordered a 12, I think it would’ve been way too big in the boobs. And you will definitely need double-sided tape, depending on your boobs size. I am a 36A so I needed it.

Went with the 6R and it fit just right. Snug around the ribs but not bad. Perfect length

5'6" 135ish and loved this dress in 6R. It was a little long but with higher shoes this worked out great! I recommend!!

Thank goodness I ordered this as my backup dress. It turned out to be my favorite out of them all. It's understated and sophisticated. It seems a bit blah online, but it's one of those dresses that looks better on! I am 5'3, and this dress was about 1" too long with 4" heels (I went with it, though, without dealing with the hassle of hem tape). *Note: I would be mindful of the cleavage with this deep v-neckline - I highly recommend tape around the bust!

Beautiful detailing, had to tape in some bra cups! A little snug in the middle area, but the next size up was way too big/long. Generally recommend, just a bit more restricting than I was expecting or am used to.

Fit perfect and was super comfortable! Loved it!! Material was thick (but not hot) and I felt really held in.

This dress was really pretty, simple, and flattering. I wore a sticky bra underneath and was able to pull it down enough that it didn’t show throughout the night. I’m between 5’5 and 5’6 and wore this dress with 3-4 inch heels. It was a little long without heels but not too bad.

Honestly, I put it on and it fit perfectly. I have black sling backs and they went perfect with it too. The dress arrived early/ontime. It didn't need to be ironed or anything. Highly recommend. I received many compliments too.

Gorgeous dress. Low V in front, used pin to close just a bit so bra didn’t show. Loved how it fit otherwise. Went with 8 because it felt snug in hips and I wanted to be able to dance.

I wore this as a bridesmaid where our parameters were black dress. I received so so many compliments. My lower stomach area has some pooch, so I had to wear a tummy control thong and engage my core lol, but I still felt great in it! I also have small boobs - it would have been a way more scandalous dress if I was bigger chested.

As not able to wear a bra, tape worked perfectly. Great, comfortable dress to dance in- I wore 3” heels, may have been a little long if I wore shorter. Classy but sexy, loved wearing this dress.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and I consistently got compliments throughout the night at a black tie optional wedding. I’m a true size 8 but I sized up to a 10R (I’m 5’ 3” on a good day) and I’m so glad I did because it was a little tight in the ribcage/chest area. I also needed fashion tape to avoid flashing the entire world so for my large chested girlies definitely keep that in mind!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and received so many compliments!! I have a pear shaped body and wore size 8P. I’m normally between a 6 and 8 but really glad I got the 8, it was a tight fit around the hips. The petite length was perfect for my 5’3” frame. Highly recommend this dress!

Loved the dress. I received many compliments and I felt like the fit was perfect. The layer underneath did twist easily so had to keep going to the restroom to adjust it. It wasn’t uncomfortable when it twisted and I doubt anyone.l noticed but the seams, especially the back zipper would twist some and annoy me. Other than that, it was easy to sit in, and move in.

Beautifully cut and crafted- this dress is substantial enough to drape well and holds its shape. The neckline is a revealing, deep V - so be prepared for that. Size this dress based on the size of your rib cage- the empire waist is the limiting factor. If you’re narrow- size down; broad? Size up. I wear an 8 in most dresses and for me, this was true to size.

I loved this dress! It fit me like a glove and was comfortable to wear. I wore it on the train and Uber to get to and from our black tie event in NYC and was easy to get around in. I was able to wear a normal black bra with it. I have a small chest and it actually gave me cleavage and accentuated the right places. Highly recommend this dress!

Wore to a black tie event, fit perfectly, quite comfortable. Inner lining almost acts as shapewear. Very forgiving, I didn't fill out the bust area but it still looked fine.

I wore this dress to a black-tie optional late winter/early spring wedding. It arrived as my backup option, but as soon as I tried it on it was clear that it was the right pick. Hugged my figure without being oppressive and had enough detailing in the bust to make it special without overwhelming. Just beautifully made. I'd buy this dress in a heartbeat!

Rented this for a black tie wedding. Ended up going with a back up dress because the neck line is just as low as it looks in pictures. Loved this dress on! If I ended up wearing, I would probably use some tape to make sure the top didn’t gape open. Usually a size 6 in formal dresses, but the 8 was a perfect fit. Not wearing shoes here so a short heel would work best and may be too short if you are taller.

It was a little snug in the hips. Had I sized up it would have been too large in the bust.

I'm glad I sized up, as this has zero stretch. But I felt pretty and got compliments on the gown.

Perfect length for 5'4" with at least one inch heel, but quite passable in flats. Low neckline, but fit well. Would rent again for black tie event!
