Amazing! Boning was a little scratchy though.

Gorgeous dress. Runs a little large. I'm between a 4-6 but more of a 6, and this was the 4. It fit quite well for a strapless but by the end of the night I was pulling it up. It's warm, heavy velvet. Many compliments. Perfect for black tie wedding.

I’m not huge on dresses, and this gown felt so good on me. I felt confident & it fit like a glove! The only downside was that it has almost like a corset built in, which hurt the sides of my body when I sat down, but it also was very firm fitting so I was just slow to sit lol. I got so many compliments on this dress!

I had initially tried this dress on when I was shopping for my wedding dress a couple years ago at a boutique in Lexington. It wasn’t red, and it was beautiful, so I thought why not wear it to black tie event. I happened to come across it on RTR and knew there was no other dress I wanted to wear. I normally wear a size 12 in dresses, but it was too large. The 10 fit me like a glove. 10/10 recommend!! I’ll end up buying this dress at some point 🖤

I wore this dress at an awards ceremony and then at another gala, and I got SO many compliments on it. I felt so glamorous. I'm generally a 12/14, so the 16 was definitely a bit big, but still comfortable and not noticeably baggy or droopy. The bottoms of the boning do, as some other reviewers have noted, poke quite annoyingly, but I put some moleskin on each of them and it was totally fine after that. The fabric is thick and luscious and incredibly flattering. Wish I could wear it every day, honestly.

I probably could've gotten away with going braless (and I NEVER say that), but I played it safe. It was just a teensy bit on the large side so I was pulling up the sleeves at times and had the neckline fashion taped to my bra (though I think it would've stayed up without the bra? It seemed to be slipping on the surface). The boning in the main bodice provides light support, but good structure. Length is fantastic if you're leggy, even in heels. The whole thing was soft and fit so comfortably, and I got nonstop compliments at the event and on pics after the fact!

Soft velvet, sleeves to keep you warm and cover any arm issues, sexy off the shoulder top, comfortable on, ruffles that compliment your shape and a leg revealing slit. What more could you want? Have rented twice and loved both times

This dress is gorgeous on and gives the appearance of an hour glass shape. It is a pretty heavy dress and I did get hot as the night wore on but would rent this one again for winter formal events.

I was part of a black tie wedding in Lake Tahoe so I needed something black, warm, and preferably long sleeve. I always have a hard time finding formal dresses that fit not just my huge boobs but also my big arms. I was hoping that whatever fit would give me curve but also be cut in such a way that wouldn’t make my belly stick out. THIS WAS IT. I was shocked that I didn’t even have to wear a bra with it- I usually hate strapless shirts and dresses because strapless bras do not hold up my tatas. BUT this dress worked because it has boning built-in, kind of like a corset (but not as intense). I got so many compliments. It was just a beautiful dress.

Absolutely LOVED wearing this dress to a winter wedding. I am normally a size 8, but the 8P was a bit loose. I listened to the previous reviews and got an extra in a size 6P which was perfect!

This dress…..y’all are lucky I returned it. I wanted to LIVE in this dress. The wedding dress code was “formal chic”, so this couldn’t be any more fitting. It fit like a glove, and I got so so so many compliments! The 16L was the only available size, I would have probably done better with the 16R because of my height, but I just threw on some platform heels and made it work! I can’t say enough how much I loved this dress. It was soooo comfortable, no bra required and I wore regular underwear! The most comfy I’ve ever been at a wedding. It is velvet, so it’s a bit heavy, and I was definitely sweating at times, but for a winter wedding it was truly chefs kiss. I literally would have bought it if they had it in my size to buy pre loved! I felt like a GODDESS and my partner loved it too :)

I wore this dress to an evening black tie wedding and received many compliments. 16 is the dress size I usually wear, and it fits perfectly. It's a little stretchy and very forgiving. Even though there are “bones” in the top of the dress, I did choose to wear a strapless bra. 1) I am pear-shaped - a little smaller on the top. 2) I am over 50. If you are also, you understand.

The gown fit true to size. The material was flexible allowing for the gown to fit without limiting movement. If you are petite, pairing with a low or medium heel may be appropriate due to the length. I received many compliments and the dress was well suited for the elegant event I attended.

I ordered two sizes because I heard it ran big. When I tried on the bigger size it fit but was just casual comfortable. The regular size fit perfect and I didn’t even have to wear a bra because the wires in the dress and the guy kept yo boobs up.

Order one size smaller, runs big. The corset wires are a bit uncomfortable but manageable. I recommend this dress!

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding I attended. Felt elegant, sultry and expensive. The dress was way too long since I’m only 5’4 but I’m use to wearing dresses I need to hold or wear super high heels for.

I got sooooo many compliments on this dress. I wore it to a formal wedding with an outdoor ceremony in Banff and it was so perfect. Kept me warm, super comfortable, absolutely beautiful. I went down one size based on other reviews and it fit like a glove.

This dress is gorgeous through and through. I didn't need a bra with it as it was so well supported. Considering that I wear an E cup, I was amazed at how much support I had in this dress.

This dress is SO gorgeous. I felt like a classic Hollywood star. The fabric is a nice thick velvet that hugs your body in all the right places. I was worried it would slip down because I usually have that issue with strapless dresses but this one did not - it was well structured and stayed up well. I'm between a 0 and a 2 normally, and the 2 was too big and slipped a bit but the 0 was perfect. Highly highly recommend! I got so many compliments on this dress!

I really loved this dress! I felt very confident and sexy. The dress got lots of compliments. The material was thick giving it richness, but the dress did run large. I'm generally an 8 and the 6 still had some room. But the fit made it look snug around the waist.

This dress was my second pick after the first didn't fit. I got compliments all night long! It was comfortable and classy. It does run a little large. I normally wear an 8-10 but due to limited sizes I decided to go with a 12 after the first dress I ordered wouldn't fit in a 10. This dress has a little stretch and is very long had to hold it up when I walked. I would absolutely rent this dress again

This dress was extremely comfortable. The velvet is high quality fabric - thick with the right amount of stretch. I had no complaints with this dress & felt great in it. It was a bit long on me but I'm only 5'3". Would have loved the petite size but it wasn't available when I ordered. I received so many compliments on this dress!

Fit perfect, perhaps a little too long for me. I wrecked my right heel awhile ago and have never been able to wear heels 3+ inches since. The heels I ended up wearing were 2.75 inches. I did at times have to kick the dress out from in front of me as I walked because of the additionally length but I managed and it was all worthwhile!

I rented this dress in both a 10-12 since I vary between the two. I def needed the 12. Even so I had to work to get it zipped at the bust. But that done (sturdy zipper) it was glam to the max. I got lots of compliments and aside from having to lift my arms and shrug to raise it up when it dipped down a bit, it was no hassle and very comfortable. A great first experience with RTR!

Wore this for my boyfriends work Christmas party the theme: James Bond Casino night! Received sooo many compliments for like a glove but was breathable. The sleeves and the off the shoulder look was a LOOK! I felt sexy and elegant! I'm not big up top and the dress gave me just the right kind of allusion!
