This dress was amazing. I received compliments from the bride and groom, and it was very comfortable. It was sophisticated, chic, and fun. I did need some help zipping the dress up, but it hugged my body in all the right places. i would totally rent this again.

I loved loved loved this dress. It was modest yet gorgeous. I wore this to an event at National Cathedral (a church) in DC and it was perfect. BUT it was way too long. I’m 5’4 and work 3.5inch heels and it was still dragging. I took some double sided tape and DIY a hem around the bottom which worked perfectly!

I loved this dress for a wedding. Super comfortable and flattering. I felt confident throughout the whole night. The material has a stretch to it. Received many compliments.

On the hanger it looks very underwhelming. When you put it on looks excellent and emphasizes all the right places.

Really loved this dress!! I actually ordered another dress that wasn't returned in time and Rent the Runway sent me this as a replacement. It was a bit tight in the chest and I would recommend sizing up if you are busty. But besides that it was gorgeous! Loved the slit in the back!!!

This was a unique silhouette to me that I really liked! I felt very elegant and comfortable throughout the night. It was a little long but I’m also only 5’ 5” so plan on heels if you are on the shorter side.

Beautiful black dress, simple and classic for almost any event. Badgley Mischka tends to run large so I always order a smaller backup if available. Normal size is 4 (5’3”/125lbs) but there was only a 4L available so I also rented the 2R. The 4L was long and was a bit looser than the 2R, which is what I ended up wearing. As you can see in the pic, the 2R was still long on me, even though I was in 4.5” heels, however fit better than my normal size. The dress has some give and is pretty comfortable. I did not need to wear a bra. Might buy this dress just to have as a wardrobe staple!

This was a great fit. The sleeves have small shoulder pads, but just enough to make it pop. Overall a great dress.

I regret not taking a better picture. This was the best one I had. Fit my 6 foot frame perfectly and it was super comfortable. My normal size 14 fit very well. It was a little more matronly than I was hoping for but ended up just looking so classy once it was all dressed up I got lots of compliments.

Perfect if you are looking for a safe, conservative black tie option that will not stand out. Slightly large in the waist

I’m normally either a 0 or 2 (mostly 2) and I got the 0 — it fit but the sleeves were a bit loose and long.

Absolutely loved this dress. Got so many compliments. I have an athletic build with bigger hips/ smaller boobs, and this dress was so flattering. The puff sleeves were perfect. I didn’t need to wear a bra (although I could have) and wore Spanx to smooth everything out. Highly recommend the Tall/ Long, otherwise it would’ve been too short (I’m 5’10” and work 2.5” block heels).

I wore this dress to a black-tie wedding. It was so beautiful and classy, with the perfect neckline—so flattering without it being too revealing! I’m 5’3 but did the L in length to be able to wear 4 inch heels and it was perfect. I had no complaints and received many compliments. Wooo!

This dress was a DREAMMM!!! Amazing fabric, super flattering, and fit the occasion perfectly. Really loved the square neck line. I'd say this is true to size. I'm 5'6" so the regular length hit me around the ankle, but I actually loved that because it highlighted my shoes. I will definitely rent this dress again if I have another formal event to go to!

I was 33 weeks pregnant and the dress had a good amount of stretch to it, which was perfect. It was a little bit big in the arms, but that’s because I sized up to fit my belly. It is a stunning dress and very very classy.

I'm typically a size 2 but I sized down to 0 for this. Overall fit was great, slightly big on the waist but not too big that it was noticeable. Thick material, so I wouldn't where it somewhere that will be hot.

I can NOT say enough good things about this dress. I am normally a size 14-16 (because of my hips)- but probably closer to the size 16 range, weighing 230 lbs. I rented a 16- and lord- it definitely pulls your body together. Arms were a little tight. It did have some stretch, but it’s meant to fit tight. Dress made me look 1-2 sizes smaller. Overall, I loved this rental and recommend it 1000 times over. If you could, I recommend 1 size up, but it’s fine if you don’t also.

Usually a 14, 16 fit well a little big in shoulders. Great classic dress that I thought might be too plain but was fitted in the waist/puff shoulder was cuter than expected. At 5’9 and with 3 inch heel was sweeping the floor.

This was a perfect dress for a formal event! Classy and modest but still very flattering around the hips and waist. The size was just right! I’m 5’10” and was worried the regular length might be too short but it looked great with shorter heels on. Highly recommend!

The good reviews on this dress did not let me down and I'm so happy that I ordered and wore it for a black tie professional event. I was worried that a long sleeve long black dress would be "matronly" but it wasn't. Square (and low cut) neckline and puffy sleeves were very flattering, as was the form fitting body of the dress. Follow the reviews and get this dress for fall/winter events.

Went for the bigger size. I'm 6' tall and usually wear a 12. Wore the 14 L with heels and fit me fine. Has lining which is a plus. Fits a larger chest also. Would definitely wear again.

The process of renting and returning could not have been easier. It even arrived early! It's nice to know there will be no duplicate dresses at the event, which can be a nightmare. My daughter looked absolutely classy at her prom and was able to wear a quality dress for next to nothing! We will be renting the runway for every future event!

I wore this for a wedding that I was officiating the ceremony in. It was absolutely perfect. I typically am a size 6, but the size 4 fit beautifully. Would definitely recommend for a black tie affair!!!

Tummy was sung but got some spanks and chest had more than enough room. Had to tape the neckline of the dress because the liner was not pressed flat enough so it was showing above the neckline.

Top was a little big, but I have a short torso and often need straps/sleeves taken up. It wasn’t enough to not want to wear it!

This dress is a classic. It is true to size. I am 5' 4" and 1/2 and 150lbs and ordered a 10R. It was a little long for me. I tucked the dress up under my strapless bra in front a bit and it works beautifully. A 10S would have been perfect.
