I had a great time in this dress. It is comfortable and elegant. I suggest messing around with the ruche a little to make it as flattering as possible. Perfect fit. A great choice for any formal event!

I was the mother of the bride so I chose this as my first choice but my back up size was not available. I was surprised that it did NOT hit the floor, I work a 1-1/2" heel with this dress and added a black 3" sash with it. Very beautiful gown.

This dress looks beautiful on! Don't order this dress if you are super pale, because it might wash you out. This dress hugs every single curve but hides all imperfections! I ordered this for prom and I received compliments all night!

I wore this to the San Luis Salute in Galveston Texas and it was perfect! I received compliments all night and it was comfortable enough to wear throughout a long night of dancing. I'm only 5'4", but since I wore 5 inch heels, I chose to go with the long size and it fit perfectly!

I wore this dress to a New Year's Eve Gala and it was perfect! I got so many compliments and even was told I was the best dressed there. The fit was a bit large, so I'm glad I ordered a size down for my backup dress. I paired it with delicate jewelry and it all worked beautifully! (P.S. The picture is a horrible angle, but it's the best one of me and the dress that I had!)

i love this dress! i rented it for prom and had absolutly no problems with it. i wore it with gunmetal jewelry and 3 inch heels and it hit the ground perfectly.

I want to first start out by saying I'm really happy with the color! I was most concerned about receiving a dress in a completely different dress that I had imagined. It was great though and I do recommend going down a size, or even two. This was my prom dress and I have to say that it was a good flexible fabric that kept comfortable all night. You will probably need spanx for this and the most negative part about the dress is making the ridges in the fabric look nice - sometimes they looked really out of place and were not flattering in the stomach area. However, I like the cinching in the back of the dress! It was overall a good fit and I got a good amount of compliments throughout prom night. I definitely recommend this dress!

I wore this dress to a prom and it was stunning, very sophisticated. So many people complimented it. Only complaints is that the top is a bit loose for a smaller bust but could be taped down if need be. A little long too but otherwise just really pretty!

I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras Ball. It fit pretty well, and although it was tight around the midsection, it has a slimming affect. At that time I wore an 8-10, but the 8 was really comfortable. I wasn't too fond of the material or color (it was paler than I thought), but it still worked out.

This dress was my second choice and it was nice and fit nicely I just didn't like it for the event I was going to attend. There is a little le-way in the material but not enough to say that it runs large.

I was nominated to receive an award at Platinum Weddings red carpet event. I'm so glad I used Rent the Runway to look my best. I ended up winning my category in Invitation Design and was ready for the photos that were taken that night. The dress was so comfortable and classy. I loved it!

I loved loved loved this dress. I thought it was incredibly flattering and being just 4'11" I was so happy to find a long dress I could wear (though I did have 4" wedges on). It's a gorgeous color and to be honest very simple so a great statement necklace and a simple bun was what I wore to accessorize it alone with a smoky eye. I would definitely rent this agian

LOVE this dress. I was able to wear 4" heels and I'm 5'10" and the dress still skimmed the floor - that's an ideal length for me. It's very body hugging around the lower stomach and backside - spanx definitely helped!

I have a short torso and short legs. I'm only 5' after all. I also have "birthing hips" and thought that the bunching would work well. It did, but the top was wayyyy too loose for my short torso and the shoulders kept falling off. It's beautiful though, just not for shorties. :)

This dress is beautiful and perfect for a formal event. I wish I would have ordered a size 0, because it was a little big for me, but besides that I was very happy with it. I recommend this dress if you are skinny or if you have a very small stomach (easily fixed with spandex) and have a nice backside to show.

This dress was amazing! very flattering on! The top portion is the part that ran big. Very happy and received many compliments. Add some vintage jewelry and it will tie the look in very nicely.

This dress is EXTREMELY flattering! I wore it to a black tie ball and received a ton of compliments, it was absolutely stunning, not too long and the material made my figure look incredible! I HIGHLY recommend!

Its form fitting, and I really was very comfortable, I have a larger bust so the size was minimized by the way the top is designed.

I ordered too late and the only size available was a size 10. The length was perfect but it was too big. I don't even think if I got a size 8, it would have fit. I recommend 2 sizes down.

I rented this for my birthday date night - it worked out so well! The stretch was really nice on my curves and fun to wear!

I ended up returning it, the 0R fit, but kind of funny. The "V" needs fashion tape to hold in place for a small chested lady like myself. I'd give this dress another try, if the occasion comes along.

This dress looks pretty much like it does on the model. It was my first rental from RTR, and it turned out great. The top part was a little bit loose and may have been better for someone with a larger bust, but if I had some fashion tape it would have been fine. I wore 2.5" heels and the dress dragged a little, but if I wore 3 or 4 inch it would have been the perfect length. I ordered a 2R and 4R as back-up. The 2R fit well on the bottom half, but as I mentioned was big/loose on top. Given the stretchy material, I think the 0R would have worked too. One complaint was the lining at the front was creased and would show through the outer layer unless I pulled it very carefully.

Thank Goodness this was my backup dress. This dress runs very large, Its beautiful but it didn't fit on my body. So remember that it runs very large.

I really liked the color and cut of this dress, which I chose as a back-up option to David Meister's one shoulder, navy blue gown. However, I thought the fabric was not such good-quality/attractive. At least, not for a late evening formal event. It would probably be more suitable for a summertime, open-air/garden party or a destination wedding.

I usually wear an 8, maybe a 6. The 6R in this was as big as the 8R and even longer, which was weird. I did not end up wearing it because the fit was strange on my body type. If I could have taken it in a little where the bodice met the skirt, I would have been golden. It's really pretty in person though. The back was amazing and the color is a smokey lavender. I was sad I had to wear something else :(

This dress is stunning! Unfortunately way too big on the top. I got an 8R I wanted a 6R and probably would've been happy with a 4R. I suggest getting a size smaller for your 1st choice and 2 sizes smaller for you second. BTW my bum looks amazing in this dress and my stomach looks model flat and I wasn't even wearing any spanx. Next event hopefully my size will be available. Oh and the length was perfect with a 3"heel
