Rented this gown for a performance. I'm always looking for comfortable dresses that work with a short heel (1-2" tops). This fit the bill. The only setback was having to re-tie the bows every now & then.

Fit was perfect. Shaped my body well in hiding my stomach area. Comfortable. The shoulder strings were a little weird to tie/knot.

I was nervous about fit, so I ordered the next size up. With any shape wear, I would’ve been comfortable in a size 18. I’m size 18-20 depending. The regular length was perfect with short heels. I wore the size 20, and danced the night away. Next time I will be more confident ordering a smaller size.

Love that this had a fitting bottom and looser top. Super flattering. The black material was a little thicker than I expected but it helped with shaping the dress and kept me warm in cold event hall. Was a little difficult trying to figure out how to style the long strings, but ended up tying a small bow and draping it in the back. I'm 5"6 and wore 3" heels and it draped perfectly.

This dress was perfect for my co-workers black tie wedding. I got tons of compliments and it was very comfortable. I’m 5’2” and the dress wasn’t too long with my short heels. I did use the size up, the backup they sent.

Badgley Mischka is my favorite designer. This dress made me feel beautiful. It was long enough so I could wear flats and be comfortable.

Perfect dress for a formal affair. Elegant and sexy but in a very classy way. I would rent again.

Fit well and had some stretch so was comfortable to wear. I wore shapewear underneath. Didn't love the tie straps but there is a shoulder strap so I just tucked in the tie straps into the top of the dress.

This was a replacement dress for a dress that arrived damaged. It was amazing! I got compliments all night and felt incredibly comfortable. I tucked the straps in because they were awkward and annoying. Would definitely rest again!!

I loved this dress. I weight 195, I’m 5’7” and 40. I was sure that this dress would be too small but I was desperate for a dress for this gala so I just tried it. SO GLAD!!! It was amazing!!!!

I loved the dress it fit as expected. Do be aware the skirt is clingy and you will need shape-ware.

This dress was beautiful, comfortable, and I received compliments all night. Worn for an awards gala. I was able to sit, eat, and dance comfortably. A standard strapless bra is perfect, I recommend shape wear for smoothing.

This dress fit me like a glove which I have never experienced with a gown before. I am 5'3" and wore ~3" heels and the length was perfect! the tie strings at the shoulders weren't my style so we just tucked them in the back when zipping up the dress which was fine since the overlay was loose you couldn't even see them!

I was a little nervous because the only size available was an 8! I was hoping to have a size 10 as backup just in case. I have a smaller upper body but my hips and thighs usually cause me to wear a larger size. This dress fit perfectly! Hugged in all the right places and the top even allowed for my strapless bra! I would definitely reorder this dress again. It was comfortable, easy to walk in and I had tons of compliments.

Loved this dress! It's a thicker material but stretchy. So it stretches but sort of holds the tummy in. And the black with a sparkly top is so elegant and classy! The only complaint I have is how long the dress was. I am not very tall (5'4") and even with my 3 inch platform heels, the skirt was dragging a bit.

I ordered two sizes, a regular and a long (on accident) and they were literally the same length. I did a temp hem in the front and kept a bit of a train. The rest of the dress fit perfectly. Lots of compliments.

This fit very well and looked great. I ended up wearing a different one but this was a close second.

Was nice and loose, which was a huge plus as I needed to insert my Elvie breast pumps during my work event. Was perfect and loose enough for my postpartum body but also very dressy and flattering. It was a tad bit long as I was wearing flats and it dragged on the floor a bit, but at 5’9 most of the L dresses are hit or miss length wise so I’m used to that!

I am almost 6 feet tall, so often times long length items are still too short on me. I wore the 8L and it touched the ground/allowed me to wear heels. I am a true size 8 and it fit perfectly - very true to size. I received so many compliments! This was my first rental, and it was definitely a winner.

Loved this dress - wore to a black tie wedding. The straps are a bit finicky to arrange, but the dress itself feels very high quality without being too heavy, and the top was roomy and flattering. I am top heavy and was able to wear an underwire strapless bra with no problems.

The top was a bit large on me but overall I really liked the dress. Very comfortable.

Comfortable and unique. Love the sparkle detailing, length could be slightly long for some. Heavy material but not over the top!

This dress was a perfect fit. I am 5'8 and ordered 14Long I loved the way it gently swept the floor. Lots of compliments.

This gown not only looked beautiful in person and fit like a glove, it was incredibly comfortable too. The neckline / exposed shoulder details and the way it hugs your lower body made me feel sexy. I received so many compliments throughout the night. I was a bit unsure about the silver top but in person it's gorgeous and really is an upgrade to your standard black gown. FYI, I'm 5'2", wore 4" heels for length. Any strapless bra and seamless underwear would work. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for something dressy/elegant but comfortable and not too revealing, this is a good option. Ordered this last minute for a winter ball and felt very pretty but also appreciated that it wasn't too tight and I could wear any bra with it. True to size imo and length was perfect (5'9)

I had a couple of hiccups here and there. But it worked out.

At 36J US/36GG UK bra (44/36/45), I knew finding something to fit my chest would be hard. This worked pretty well. It was my backup to my backup, so many thanks to RTR's customer service for this one! There's some give in the waist, so my extra Covid belly fit, though it clung a bit more than I liked. The straps are really long, but I tucked them in and just left the loops out. I also used double-sided tape for a little gaping in armholes. The silver fabric was a little scratchy eventually - wasn't uncomfortable for what I was doing, but if there were dancing, it might've been irritating.

Fit was great..I wore a strapless bra and shapewear. The dressed hugged in the right places but was easy to move around in. Needed to wear heals because dress was long for my 5"4 height. I really loved it and received many compliments.

Understated and classic but form-fitting and flattering!

5’3” / 155lbs/ 36B/ my fit profile said 12. I got the 12 and a 10. This dress was true to size for the 12. Perfect fit, but with only being 5’3”, I had to get 3.5” heels to avoid stepping on it, wish there had been a petite option (the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). I loved the dress, actually felt very pretty, and got a lot of compliments on the dress. The dress quality was great. No issues with either sizes. The dress came earlier than expected! I will definitely order from this company again!

Good length and waist fit well for this 5'4", 128lb gal in 2-3inch heels. The slip underneath made the dress feel comfortably snug. It was not overstated but very flattering.

I rented for a wedding but chose to wear another dress. This dress is super comfy but I felt that it looked just OK on me. I rented in 6P. I'm only 5'1 so I really appreciated the petite length. I didn't like the strings on the shoulders at all. But in a pinch I would have worn this. I don't think I could have worn a strapless bra though because it would have shown.

I wore this dress to a masquerade ball for NYE. I originally intended on wearing the size 14, but there was damage on the dress I tried on at the RTR store, so I went with the 16 since you couldn't tell it was larger on me. The dress was super comfortable, was the perfect length, and looked very flattering. I could have done without the long strings (as you can see in the photo), but I would definitely rent this again.

This dress was my second option and loved it soo much! Fit like a glove but it was still stretchy enough to dance all night in.

Truly the perfect formal event gown to make you feel both glamorous and comfortable at the same time. It has such an understated sexiness to it with the timeless silhouette. I got compliments all evening. You'll love wearing this gown! The quality of the fabric is impeccable. I was a little worried the black ties would be weird, but I just had them behind me the entire night and it was fine. Felt like a modern, youthful flare that was appreciated on such an otherwise simple design.

Awesome dress worn for black tie wedding. The top is so much prettier in person, and it is very forgiving and and does not show skin in the back. The dress has some stretch so it was extremely comfortable to wear and dance. It was a little long but my 2" heels kept it off the ground. The strap ties were very long (my preference was to tucked them into the dress).
