Selected this piece for an orchestra concert where I was volunteering, which meant a long night! This dress converted very well between flats and heels to give a consist look of "amazing without a sweat." I got compliments all night and the dress was so comfortable I kept forgetting that I had this on. Also, the silhouette and sleeves provide enough of a statement that you don't have to worry much about jewelry or accessories as it truly speaks for itself :)

Amazing and heavy fabric, no spank required! The neckline isn't as dramatic as the photos of the model. Loved the sleeves and details. So many compliments!

Snug under chest. I would have sized up by one. This was a work party. The President (female) came up to me and said I looked stunning and that she loved my dress. Felt great in it.

Wore to my daughter's rehearsal dinner. Very flattering. I'm up like 3 sizes lately and the sleeves magically "hide" areas of concern!

This dress is a very thick, nice material. Perfect for my cold office. The sleeves are beautiful! Very slimming although a little difficult to zip but over a larger bust. Comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Wore for work and it was super comfy. The sleeves were super fun and adding a necklace to it brought some needed detail to the dress. It doesn't cling to the body and provided a little give so it was easy to move around in.

Love everything about this dress and wished it were in a variety of colors. It is my favorite of all of the 50+ RTR dresses I have rented.

CONS: The dress was slightly large in the upper back. It was just a tad too long. Where are the dresses for the 5'4" small women? Also I had to fix the hem in the front with good old needle and thread. I was afraid to use tape. PROS: I felt like a diva in this dress. The black suede 3" shoes that I wore had an asymetrical shaped heel which matched that dress perfectly. I wore long black leather tech gloves that were perfect for waiting outside. I even kept them on for a while inside. I wore several silver bangles when the gloves came off. The only other jewelry that I added was a pair of diamond stud earrings. (Please ignore that neon party necklace.) I would buy this dress if it was affordable and size petite. I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!

The collar and sleeves are stunning! Size up it runs small! I received numerous compliments and felt glamorous as I danced the night away.

I actually wore this to a funeral. I hadn't seen a lot of family members in a while, but once they saw me I had to say I received tons of compliments. I def have curves, and the dress handled each one well!

This dress fit like a dream. The sleeves were a bit OTT for work...but they were still fun to wear and didn't get in the way as much as I expected. Slightly witch-y, slightly bat-like, but totally fun to wear.

Well I liked it and thought the sleeves were super cool. But did I channel the wicked witch of the west in it? Maybe a little?

This dress was a little more flamboyant than I expected from the RTR photos. Yet, I still really liked it. When I put it on, my 8-year-old told me I looked like a "fashionable witch." HA! I wore to work and got compliments from co-workers and a perfect stranger at lunch. The sleeves are major statements. They are not too long, and the material is very heavy so the sleeves don't flop. They also have large metal grommets that add to the drama. This is not a dress for the faint-hearted. The material is very thick, making the dress somewhat heavy--it is definitely not a warm-weather dress. When I say heavy, it wasn't districting--more that the material had a presence. It had some stretch to it and was form-fitting, but didn't feel too sexy because of the boat collar, length (past my knee) and longer sleeves. It was comfortable to wear and not constrictive at all. The only "con" is that the sleeves would NOT fit in any coat I had. You would HAVE to wear a cape. Also, not sure how breathable the fabric is. I sweat very little and usually have no odor issues, but my underarms were a little scented at the end of the day. Luckily, the heavy fabric also kept the scent in. ;)

Very comfortable to wear! The sleeves are dramatic but didn't get in the way. The dress was heavier than I anticipated but perfect for a winter banquet. Caution is warmer climates!

This was a backup dress for an event that wasn't dressy enough but I loved the dress and would rent again for a cocktail party vs a formal affair. The material is thick and hides your flaws, the neckline is pretty great and would work best of you wore your hair up, and the sleeves are quite dramatic. Overall, a fun dress and I'm sorry I didn't get to wear it this time!

I have rented this dress multiple times -- the sleeves add character and the fit is great.

I wore this to a memorial service and it was perfect. This dress is very well made. Fits where it needs to fit. Gives where it needs to give. It is heavy crepe fabric so this is a fall or winter dress. do not do this if it's going to be hot. No one bad thing to say about this dress. Perfection.

Elegant dress that’s simultaneously classic and funky. It fit me perfectly, and I love the heavy crepe fabric. I packed it in a carry-on & it was wrinkle-free.

This dress fit like a glove. I got a bunch of compliments, including from one of my bosses who is pretty reserved. I thought this was perfect for a day at the office because it was made with stretch but enough hold to keep you feeling secure all day. It's also thick enough that you won't be freezing in an office - it was unseasonably cold the day I wore it and I forgot I couldn't really fit the sleeves into my jacket I'd brought until it was too late, but I wasn't even very cold walking around outside. I do think it could be cute at an evening event, too, especially if you dressed it up with some accessories. With the neckline and sleeves I don't think you can really do a necklace or bracelet, but some fun heels and rings or earrings would be nice! Highly recommend for basically any occasion you might want to rent it for. This also hit me at just below the knees, and I'm pretty tall, so I was pleasantly surprised since sometimes bodycon or pencil dresses turn out to be way too short on me to be office appropriate attire. I was so torn about whether to buy this, but decided to return it since it's on the "statement piece" side of work outfits and I probably wouldn't wear it enough to make it worth buying vs. renting.

I wore this to my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. I was extremely pleased by the fit and style of the dress and had loads of compliments from guests at the party.

The fabric is luxe and the construction is beautiful, but this fit me like a very snug sheath dress — not the look I needed for a fancy dinner party I was going to attend. So I didn’t wear it, but it is a great dress.
