I believe I wore this is the 10L (ordered 8 backup but they didn’t have it long) and this fit great! There’s not much room to fit a bra, so I fixed it in place with boob tape. I was able to wear 3.5” heels without it looking short. Lots of compliments at the wedding and it was very comfortable to dance in! Would recommend

Added a lace top for a more professional look. Got tons of compliments!

The dress itself is absolutely gorgeous and I got tons of compliments on it at my husband’s Christmas party. I felt like a princess in it. I wore a strapless bra with it and that worked really well, except I did need double-sided tape to keep the dress over the edges of the strapless bra. I did wear spanx too but those weren’t needed since the waist is SO TIGHT. I normally wear a 10 and sometimes size down to an 8. Thank God the only backup I could get was a 12 because I could NOT zip the 10 up at all. This was my first Badgley-M dress and I assume they run a bit tighter, I just didn’t know that at the time. The other issue people have talked about are the straps, which are too loose and you can’t adjust them. I just let them be but they did fall down sometimes. I am almost 5’ 7” and wore 2 inch heels and the regular length hit at my ankles, so order a long if you want it to dust the floor. Overall, it was a wonderful dress just be aware of the fit and the straps.

If you have fuller breasts, don’t forget the double sided tape. I bent over to pick up something and had a little nip slip. But overall the dress is stunning and shimmery. I got a ton of compliments and I love a dress with pockets.

As described, the straps can be a little long, as long as I stood up tall, they were great! But if you have a shorter torso, I would recommend being ready to pin them a bit to make it perfect.

This dress got so many compliments, it was perfect for my black tie awards dinner. I will say that the straps were just a little too long and had to be pinned so I could wear without a strapless bra. Overall, 10 out of 10!

A little snug at the waist for me. Probably should have tried a size 10. Otherwise great fit. Used some fabric tape at the V but didn't have any problems with the straps.

This dress was gorgeous and comfortable! The straps were a bit long, as others mentioned in reviews, so I was prepared and just pinned them. I went with the 2 instead of the 0 bc my upper back was slightly too broad for the zipper to zip comfortably.

When two dresses arrived and were too large I called Rent the Runway and chose this dress as it was one of the few I could find in a 2...They sent it to me overnight! What a beautiful dress. It fit perfect with the exception that the straps were too long - I just tacked them and it was fine. Loved the dress. A must for a wedding or formal affair. I am usually a 4 petite and ordered 4's in both the other dresses which were too large. I will definitely start ordering 2's.

I like the cleavage I got on this dress. It fit well maybe a tad tight but that might be more my COVID weight than the dresses fault. It is a princess vibe dress. I wish they had the long available because I'm 5'9" and that would have given it a more formal look, the regular was short not like how it looks in the picture. It was still a stunning dress

I agree with the other reviews that the photos don’t do this dress justice! It’s way more beautiful in person than you can tell online. I received SO MANY COMPLEMENTS on this dress!! We went for a drink before the wedding, and some people thought it was OUR wedding day!! Between this and the groom’s complement, I think that says it all! It fit a little large in the bust, but the back was too low for me to wear a strapless bra. It wasn’t an issue, however. The fabric is a little thick so I don’t recommend it for high heat temperatures, but it was PERFECT for the day I wore it in the high 70s. The pockets were awesome. What I loved is that the cut, design, and lay of the dress are super forgiving!

This was actually a last minute replacement for a dress that was no longer available. I was upset because I really wanted to wear the other dress but now I couldn't be happier it worked out this way. This dress is fire. I had to use a lot of tape to keep it in place but man was it worth it. I'm a 12/14 and the 14 was almost perfect. Just a little big under the arms. Rent it.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I really felt like Cinderella, but in the least Disney way possible. I wore "Double Scoop" bra inserts, and they worked well. The dress is not the most comfortable material and gets a bit warm on the dance floor, so probably not the best for a humid summer event. I have a thin waist, and the dress was snug around the ribs, so you may want to go a size up if your waist is larger.

This was one of my back-up choices to wear as a guest to a winter wedding, though it was not my first choice, the dress ended up being perfect. I was complimented throughout the night on the dress at a formal, classy wedding, so extra points there. The top has a bit more gold in the weaving than I thought from the photo, but the blue-silver tones of the skirt were great and was a good match for some sparkly silver shoes that I had. Shoe choice is important because they show well through the arc at the bottom of the skirt (though it wasn't as dramatic as in the photo since I'm 5'6"). It's a great fit for an hourglass figure since it hugs at the waist and flares out at the hips. The dress has pockets at the hips, making it easy to carry your phone or lip gloss. It was comfortable and lent itself well to a night full of dancing. Regarding size, the skirt of the dress has a lot of flare, so the fit is really about the top of the dress. I had ordered one size smaller and it mostly fit on top, but the skirt felt the same as the larger size. My only issue is that the straps were a little long. I find this to be a normal experience as someone who is of average height but more plus size weight, usually larger sizes accommodate for more than my 5'6" height. I ended up putting a safety pin at the top of my shoulders in the back to make the neckline into more of a halter top, which solved the extra length and also made sure I didn't have to worry about the top sloping downwards, especially while dancing. I would very much recommend.

People walked across the room to compliment me- including the event photographer. I paired it with bronze heels and clutch.

It is very low cut so be aware of that if you are bigger chested. Sized up from normal size and it just fit. Didn’t need to wear a bra, it was supportive enough. It was really comfortable and flattering.

Color was beautiful blue and silver and fit was true to size. It’s low cut so I used tape to help. I would rent it again.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to wear this dress for my event. The straps were too long but everything else on it fit great.

Fit was great except the straps are way too long so I had to get creative with some ribbon to tie the straps in the back (wore my hair down so nobody knew). The fabric is awesome and it has pockets. I received tons of compliments.

I loved this gown and got so many compliments, but I should have gone up a size to a 6. The fit looks good in photos, but it was a team effort to get me into it. (My own fault for not ordering up a size as a backup.) Will go up a size next time!

Our annual black tie event for the industry is high energy. Carrying a phone and business cards are absolutely necessary. This dress was the most functional choice with deep pockets! I am an athletic build, with a big rib cage. This dress helped give me the curves I don't have on my own.

The neckline was *incredibly* low on me, so I wore a silver jacket over it. But this paired so nicely with chrome blue shoes and a matching purse. I didnt want to take it off!

This is my favorite dress I've ever worn, ever. I wore it for a recital and got endless compliments on it in person and on my social media posts. Multiple friends told me I should keep it, but of course sadly I had to return it. It's lovely, and it has POCKETS!! Amazing dress, amazing experience, hated to let it go. Note--I wore a 10 though I usually wear a 12 because there were no dresses left in 12. It was a tad tight, so if you have the same dimensions as me, size up. It was great regardless.
