This designer never disappoints. I have to say that this dress was the prettiest one there. Endless compliments especially for the color. The only issue was I couldn't raise my arms that much so dancing was interesting. But I am still giving it 5 stars. It was worth it for me.

Absolutely loved this dress. I wore it for a Mardi Gras ball, and it was absolutely perfect! Fit like a glove, but was comfortable enough to wear and dance in all night long. Definitely recommend this one for any formal occasions!

I initially rented another gown for the MET gala, which turned out to be too big. I ended up getting two replacements and wearing this one. The ruffles seem a lot in pictures but it's so flattering on the body! I felt so confident in it the entire night - except for the fact that my chest is on the smaller side (32B, I decided to not wear a bra) so I was a little afraid it might fall down but it didn't! I'm about 5' 4", 110 lbs and 2R fit perfectly. I low key wanted to buy this gown!

I rented this for a photo shoot and it was gorgeous! Very flattering and beautiful shape and fabric!

I ordered a 2 but should have ordered a 0. The dress made me feel beautiful, but the top was was too big and kept slipping down! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and super self-conscious that my bits would begin peeking out as I obviously couldn't keep yanking the dress up the whole time. You live and learn, right?

I rented this dress for an Alzheimer's Purple Gala. I am 3 1/2 months postpartum so had been a little nervous about this event and was feeling self conscious. This dress was so flattering, I didn't even need to wear my spanx! Before I got pregnant I wore a 10R in Badgley Mischka dresses. I was nervous to only go up one size to the 12R but read that there was some stretch to it. It was a little big on top but fit comfortably everywhere else. The dress is also a little more purple in person which I liked even better since the color for Alzheimer's is purple. As other reviews said, this dress would flatter any body type. The ruffle, ruching, off the shoulder top, small train and high-low front made this dress so dramatic, there was nothing I didn't love about this dress. Thank you again Rent the Runway for a fantastic experience!

This hugs all my curves the right way and the ruffles cover up problem areas. This dress is amazing and I hated to return it. So beautiful.

The fabric has some stretch, but the ruffles are placed in such a way as to hide my problem areas in my middle section. I did wear Spanx, but mostly to hide any lines in the back of the dress. I was able to wear a strapless bra without a problem. The arms of the dress are rather restrictive. I had trouble bending over to pick things up once in the dress, and I wasn't able to dance much. It didn't bother me, but I could see it being a problem for others.

The color, the fabric, the fit. All was amazing on this dress. The only issue was the plastic boning in the top part was coming out of the fabric and dug into my sides painfully. I used bandaids to cover up the plastic boning and then it was perfect. Soooo glamorous!!

I chose this dress for my engagement shoot. I wanted to go for an elegant look and this dress was perfect. I ordered the size 12 based on my measurements and got the size 14 for back up. I reserved a week prior and received the dresses on the date requested. Once I received the dresses, the size 12 was a mess! It had stains on the front where the ruffles are and other stains throughout. Not sure if it was from the previous renter or the cleaning. The 12 fit perfect and didnt need a bra but it was not in the best shape. Luckily I could fit the 14 and had more room in the hip area but had to wear a strapless bra. Overall, I loved the dress and it looked exactly like the pictures. I paired it with earrings I had and Steve Madden heels (that you could barely see). I would indeed rent again!!!

I rented this dress for a black-tie gala for a charity. I was absolutely in love with this dress online and it did not let me down! The quality of the dress was amazing. I am between sizes right now and I probably could've used a size 16 but the 14 was snug in all the right places. The zipper was a little hard to get past the waist line but once I got it up I didn't want to take the dress off. The very first thing my friend said to me when I walked into the event was how skinny I looked! LOL I felt like "Pretty Woman" all night long! Some of my friends didn't recognize me! I was so GLAM! I paired the dress with a Givenchy Necklace and earrings by Anne Klien that I bought on my own. This Dress hides all of the right places and shows off all of the right places too! Its a real homerun! I can't say enough positive things about it!

It was beautiful and the color is a little bit deeper and honestly better in my opinion and photos do not do it justice!!

This dress was a perfect choice and my first time to use RTR. The fabric is thick and stretchy and a very high quality. I’ll be keeping it for formal cruises in the future.

An excellent dress for a southern black tie wedding- flattering fit, firm torso and tight arms, but kept everything in place. I am between a 4 and 6 and preferred the 4 on top but the long was a little long for 5’7”

Loved this dress and got tons of compliments. Ordered tons of options and this felt the most formal and flattering. Fit pretty true to size, if you are between sizes go with the smaller size.

This dress runs a little big, and wish it was tighter so should have sized down to a size 2 (usually wear a 4) but it is a gorgeous color and fits just right!

I loved this dress and got so many compliments on it. Wore it to a black tie wedding in Palm Beach. I get beautiful and confident in it. I am typically a 4/6 and ordered a 4. It was a smidge big but when I added a strapless bra and spanx, it fit perfectly. I am 5’6”, 135 lbs and wore 3.5” heels. I highly recommend this dress!

This dress fit me like it was made for me! I wore a regular strapless bra and the slit/ruffles made dancing even more fun! The color was exceptional! I got compliments all night! I had a dramatic story obtaining it but once I put it on, it all felt worth it!

Sometimes dresses that accentuate curves don't flatter my figure but this dress had a beautiful fit. The material is luxurious and forgiving. The top fits like a glove. I'm curious how this was a 10L... I'm 5'10" and I could have used 2 more inches! I still loved it and would rent again!

This fit like a dream. It was heavy and thick and hugged the body just nicely. I got tons of compliments. I would rent again.

The color was as expected, and so pretty. The fit was so true to size and I didn't have to fidget with adjusting anything throughout the night, it was so comfortable. The folded frill detail and and small train made me feel so glamorous and it was fun dancing in! I really did not want to return it and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Pros- It fit like a glove, I didn't have to wear any undergarments to hide my roles because the dresses ruffles hid most of it. I truly felt beautiful Cons- The boning underneath was poking so I was happy I didn't have to wear the dress long. Would recommend using bandaids if wearing a long time.

I ordered this in the 6L but they sent me the 6 regular. It fit but was too short for my event which was very formal. Also if I had to do it over I'd get the 4L. The dress is very heavy so if it's at all too big the weight will pull the dress down.

Me: 5'8.5", 145 lbs, 32c, smaller on top than bottom, usually wears a 6L The 6L was too large for me on top, so I didn't wear (see two photos attached to my review - the second one really shows the top being too large if that's a concern for you). A beautiful color, though. Was a bit less bright than I thought it would be.

This dress is the absolutely most perfect dress for a black tie wedding. I'm 5'3, 135 with an hour glass figure (big boobs/butt smaller waist) and it was sooo flattering. I would say it runs large because I typically wear a 4 or a 6. I got the 4 first and I just felt like it would be more flattering if it was a bit more snug bc the top is corset like. They only had the "long" size available but I honestly thought it fit fine. Definitely a must rent.

Absolutely in love with this dress. I normally wear a size 10. RTR staff really bent over backwards to accommodate all my special requests. I eventually ended up ordering a backup size 12 and when I tried it on..it fit perfect. I didn't need to do anything but match my jewelry and heels. I'm 5'3" and my heels gave the right lift. I got compliments all night long and this dress was perfect for my mom's birthday celebration. Color looks different depending on lighting, but it's a beautiful color.

It has a built-in bra support but I still wore a strapless for added support. It was so pretty. I got a lot of compliments . I did have to keep pulling it up as it is heavy and well-made, so it tended to drop, as to be expected with either strapless or side sleeve- type dresses such as this. It runs mostly true to size, maybe a little on the larger side. Definitely a high-design gorgeous dress.
