This dress was perfect for a medical school gala! There is a slit in the leg that I did not know about, but I still loved it! Sticky boobs are a must as the back will show a strapless bra. I wore 3 inch heels with it -- the "long" size would have been too long for me, so I am glad I went with the 8R.

I'm in between 6-8 and the 6 fit perfectly. The lenght was also great. The slit was a bit higher than I realized, but overall very easy dress to wear. Got tons of compliments!

I wore this dress to a charity gala and was glad I wasnt in another black dress like the rest of the crowd. This dress has beautiful details and the fabric moved nicely. I usually wear a 2L in RTR dresses and I was so surprised the 0R was even a little big! I am 5'7" and wore 4" heels and the dress dusted the floor. The bodice was a bit big in the chest on me, but i was able to make a strapless bra work to fill it out. Overall, i loved this dress and felt great in it!!

I typically am a pretty solid 8, but have to size up occasionally on tighter things due to my larger chest. The size 8 wasn't available so they sent a size 10 as a replacement. The 10 fit a little large in the ribcage and the straps were definitely too long. I ended up pinning the straps to shorten them and it worked perfectly. The dress could have been snugger in the bodice which would have made me feel more comfortable and held in, but the dress worked out just fine for the wedding and looked absolutely beautiful. No one had any clue it was a little big! Would definitely rent this dress and wear it again.

This dress played the perfect part for a charity event I attended and helped organize. The bust has a subtle, delicate appearance; nothing flashy. But, I wear a 32B and the bust was slightly big. There was so much excitement about the lovely, and surprising, thigh-high front slit (left side). I felt like a princess sweeping into every room.

I wore this to a wedding and it was perfect- absolutely stunning and so comfortable! My only complaint is that even the petite length was long; I wore 3 inch heels and still struggled a bit (I'm 5 ft).

I loved this dress and felt beautiful and confident. It was flattering and gorgeous yet as simple as slipping it on and zipping it up. The petite length skirted the top of my toes with heels on, and I loved that the dress didn't need to be pressed.

I've rented a number of dresses and this was one of my favorites. The 6 fit better on the bottom, but I was definitely going to have a wardrobe malfunction on top so I made my husband shove me into the 4 which felt much more secure. I definitely needed a second pair of hands to zip it and would never have been able to do it on my own. The fabric is long and flow. Even with four inch heels I was stepping on it, but despite all this, I still really loved wearing this dress.

I loved this dress. We had a black tie optional wedding to attend and this was great. Fit great. Was a tad lose cut but my husband had no problems with it and I received plenty of compliments. Worth the rent and would totally do again.

We went to the store in Chicago to try on dresses for my daughter's Prom but they did not have this one to try on - she tried on another one from the same designer and we hoped for the best. The stylist was super helpful in steering us in the right direction for size and style. It fit perfectly and looked very well pressed and ready to wear. The whole process was extremely easy. I admit we were nervous to not have the dress in hand weeks before, but it all worked out perfectly and we knew the back up dress fit well. The dress stood out as elegant - the fabric was just so much lovelier than a lot of other dresses.

I am 4’11 and 95 lbs with A size cup so finding dresses in my size that fit is DIFFICULT to say the least. This dress looked absolutely stunning!!! The fit was perfect with some safety pins that I pinned on the chest area (since I am very small chested). I got so many compliments and felt like a movie star!!! I absolutely love this dress!

Rented for my friends BTO wedding. I felt like a princess! It fit absolutely perfectly. I used some fabric tape to hold a strapless bra down low enough in the back, but the top is thick enough where you could go braless if you have a larger bust to fill the top. The length was perfect with 3" heels. There is a slit in the opaque lining that adds a little sexiness to the dress. LOVE LOVE LOVED wearing this dress

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding. The size 12L fit perfectly except for the straps were a bit too long. It was the right length for me; wore a low heel and I am 5'10". Loves this dress and would absolutely recommend it!!

Really happy with this rental. Lots of compliments. Skirt was really comfortable, good length (5'5" with 3" heels). Top a bit large, but manageable (34b). Top also ha some pilling that I removed before the event, so starting to show some wear.

Like others have mentioned, the top fits a little loose, but that didn't make it unwearable. I didn't even have to wear a bra! 0P was perfect length with heels even though I'm only 5'1. Don't think twice. Just rent it!

This dress is gorgeous, I had so many compliments! I have been waiting for an occasion to rent this dress and I'm so glad I finally did. The fabric around the waist is not stretchy at all, so if you are concerned about sizing I would size up. Also the length was good, I wore flip flops and nobody knew! The slip has a slit which I loved.

This dress was super comfortable and flattering. The slit comes up very high but it's not super noticeable. I normally would wear a 6R but it wasn't available so I went with the 6L. It was definitely too long for me but it was still easily to walk, dance, etc. Highly recommended!

Perfect fit for me, but I guess the straps could be a little long. The dress was heavy and well made and just gorgeous for a navy blue themed event.

I was trying out unlimited RTR so I rented several dresses from the site. The red dress in this photo was actually my 2nd choice) but I HAD to go with the navy dress, I absolutely loved it. I thought it was true to size, a little long for me, (even in tall heels, and I am 5'6) but didn't cause too big a problem. Got compliments all night. Definitely a little low cut in front but still tasteful. Could go braless with this dress, I decided to use a sticky bra but would've been fine without. Would recommend this dress and would rent again!

The top was too big on me (I doubt anyone noticed but me), but the rest of the dress is "flexible" if you're not sure on sizing. I loved how the dress flowed- the slit was awesome. It traveled well. I wore it to a black tie wedding. Very elegant! I'd wear it again. Tons of compliments!

I wore this dress to a wedding and fell in love! I received compliments all night. I am very tall, and long dresses are usually too short, but this went all the way to the floor. I wore flats, but could have worn heels and it still would have looked great. I loved the slit in the side and went without a bra (which I loved)! I have a really broad back, so it was a little snug below my bust line, but it was still comfortable!

This dress was absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for a black tie wedding. I'm 5'3", B cup size, with a slightly broad back, and wore the 10R. The fit was perfect for me, besides the length which was a little long. So I had to wear slightly taller heels. The top was fitted enough to hold everything in place, and no bra required! Although when you sit, it becomes less structured so I'm not sure this would be best for women with larger cup sizes, like D or up. Overall though I think the dress would be flattering for all body types; it really makes you feel fabulous! This was my first time renting and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely a great dress!

I wore this for my engagement photo shoot - it started out as a backup to a backup of my original rental choice (long story) but quickly turned into one of the most amazing dresses I have ever worn. When I rented this, the only size close to my preferred size (6) left was an 8. Because the dress was one size larger than I should've been wearing, the bust area was quite big, but a padded bra and some double sided tape fixed that issue. I'm 5'10" and this dragged on the floor a little for me (note that while Rent the Runway said I was getting an 8L, the tag says "8" so this may be a long, just not marked accordingly), but it was a romantic flowy drag, not an "I'm going to trip every 5 seconds" drag. I have already received a ton of compliments on this and felt like an absolute princess in it; would highly recommend for a photo shoot or evening event.

I was worried it was going to be too long as I saw many other people complaining about that. I ended up wearing 3” heels and the dress was perfect. I was also concerned that the dress would be too sexy for a wedding but it showed just the right amount of cleavage but stayed classy. You would want to make sure that you had some chest to fill this dress out so it would fit right but any bigger wouldn’t work. It was so comfortable I was able to dance and eat lots all night. This was one of my favourite rentals yet!!

This dress was AMAZING. I wish I could have kept it. It was super comfortable and fit me pretty well. I would have worn the 6R that I ordered, but I have broad shoulders and went with the 8R. It fit great! Super easy to dance in. The slit on the leg adds some fun! I got compliments all night!

Dress top size ran big, so go down a size if you have a smaller bust. No need to wear a bra with the low back. Would definitely rent it again.

reading the reviews about this dress definitely helped in the decision making process. yes, the boob area was a little too big on the sides. there is a slit on the left side but it is a modest slit! i wore flats and it was DEF long enough (if you're tall, YOU HAVE TO GET LONG), it barely dragged on the ground but covered feet all the way. i might've even been able to get away 2" heels! i ended up wearing the larger size, a 12L simply because it was it was just more comfortable for the night. i got away with a strapless bra and using fashion tape to fix the sides. overall, this dress is AMAZING and i was so sad to have to send it back:/

Tried on both zero and 2. 0 fit but felt tight in the waist, 2 was just slightly loose in the bust. Wore the 2 for comfort. For ref choosing a size my waist is 26." I'm 5'6" and wore a 4" heel and length was perfect.

I really enjoyed this dress, although it doesn't protect much from 30 degree weather. In the photos, you don't see the leg slit that goes from knees down on the left leg. I was not expecting it but it caused no issue! I ordered a 2L as I'm 5'9", but it was still a little questionable in heels. I did like the complete floor-length look but wouldn't have minded it to be a couple inches shorter for walking comfort. Also, those with smaller chests will need fashion tape. The top works well for those with larger chests, so I needed to tape down some excess fabric in order to prevent some baggy room on the sides. Overall, beautiful!
