Loved this dress!! Very thick and heavy material so it was perfect for a wedding that was outside partially in the cold. I loved how the material hugged my curves but wasn't uncomfortable. Would rent this one again!

I don’t usually wear a 0 so this definitely runs a bit big - I was glad I sized down for the backup size! The dress may look a little boring in the picture but was great in person. Really good fabric, great quality, flattering, and the sleeves are just interesting enough to make a statement without being overly dramatic. My favorite rental yet!

This is a stunning dress. It looks even better in person than in the photos. The fabric is heavy weight-very forgiving for any trouble areas and good for fall/winter. The silhouette is fun but conservative (about knee length on my 5'6" frame). I was concerned since other reviewers mentioned this styles runs big through the top, but I did not find this to be the case. The 0 fit exactly as expected. I've rented quite a few dresses and this one may be my favorite. VERY flattering.

This material was heavier but stretchy so it fit great! Loved the fun sleeve and the length was very classy. Felt dressy and glamerous!

I absolutely LOVED this dress. The material is pretty heavy, so i dont reccomend it for a summer event, however the material was very flattering and i received many compliments.

This dress worked perfectly for a winter wedding over NYE. The material was quite thick, and the sleeves were actually pretty heavy! I probably would not rent for warmer climates (this was in Western PA so the weight was perfect). The dress is pretty much a blank slate so you could dress it up however you want. Both the 4 and the 2 fit me, but the 2 had a great slimming effect. I felt great in this!

Like all other women shared- this dress is amazing. The fit is perfect, the material is so rich and gorgeous and the sleeves and neckline are incredible. Simple, elegant - perfect for my company holiday party. Love, love, loved it.

This dress was incredibly flattering on me. I carry all my weight in my stomach and bust. This was very fitted, but the rich fabric did an amazing job of pulling everything in. I'm in between a 14 and 12 and fit in both sizes, but was overall more comfortable in the 14. The sleeves are amazing-simply by holding a drink, the fabric falls in such a way that it totally hides lovehandles and bellies. Would definitely rent again-next time I would wear my hair up so the neckline could be better appreciated. Be warned-the fabric is HEAVY and the sleeves made it impossible to get my own plate at the buffet.

I rented this dress for a professional conference. I felt so beautiful, and received so many compliments. This is a very unique dress, yet functions very well from day to night. I would size up, especially if you have hips or a big bust.

Two very strong thumbs up for this one!! I had ordered a cute summer dress but when I went to the store to grab the dress I did a double take on the weather. Apparently fall arrived early and with a bang back in Columbus Ohio so I opted to change for a warmer and more appropriate option. I received tons of compliments on this dress. Perfect for a fall day that felt like it. Very shape forming so great for curvy girls. The material is great for staying warm and enough stretch to be comfy sitting or standing. I recommend this dress for anyone. Such a hit.

Gorgeous dress, perfect for an evening wedding!

I wore this to officiate a friend's wedding and it was the absolute perfect choice. I didn't want a gown, but wanted something long enough to be very modest and classy, and the fit was absolutely perfect. I wanted to wear sleeves, but have pretty muscular arms, so I was worried. It was NOT AT ALL restrictive, and didn't make my arms look like sausage rolls. The material was quite heavy (in a good way) and I didn't have to wear any fancy undergarments, there were no weird lines or wrinkles, etc. Would absolutely rent it again. Thanks RtR!

The fit is true to size - form fitting yet the best kind of forgiving because it was stretchy yet heavy fabric - fit perfectly in all the right places. The cut was conservative enough for a work event yet you'll feel so feminine and pretty. Elegant and comfortable!!...I mean when does that happen? If you are a size 10-12 I recommend the 10. This dress is so gorgeous! It's a little black dress with a twist. The sleeves are so fun and give the dress such a classy look! Beware it is made to be form fitting. I usually am not comfortable with that but it was so flattering. The material is thick which was great for a cold winter night!

I have been waiting to rent this beautiful dress. Once before I was disappointed when someone did not return it in time for my scheduled rental. As others have described, the dress is quite heavy, but the sleeves are fantastic. The problem with this particular size 12 dress is that the back has huge bumps that only disappear if you slouch terribly. Standing straight I took a side photo to show this problem. Someone earlier mentioned the bumps and they also had a size 12. I am wondering if it may only be this particular size 12 that has this awful stretch in the back. It is almost like someone with a huge torso might have stretched it out of shape. Sadly I returned. RTR is sending another and I am hopeful it will not have the same issue. ***Update! RTR sent another and I bought it! I am sure I will have another opportunity to wear this classic dress.

Very slimming fit. Sleeves are beautiful. Sometimes get in a way. But not too much

I ordered a size 0 and 2. When I took out the 0 I thought it looked too big. It fit perfect. When I put it on I was amazed by the weight of the sleeves (tolerable as it felt of true quality). Because of the mild stretch the dress hugs all the curves (that I didn’t really know I had). The dramatic sleeves and high collar are a grand eye appeal. The best part for me was the comfort. A flexible stretch permitting both comfortable dance attire and sit down for dinner attire. I would wear this dress over and over. A true win.

The fabric is very thick and heavy. I didn't notice that in the details about the dress. It is very true to size but it keeps you sucked in at all right places. Knowing I was there and a designer dress made me feel like a million bucks!

This dress was perfectly proportioned to slim a pear shape. Elegant and sophisticated without looking matronly. Got tons of compliments at my office holiday party.

The neckline is beautiful and channels Jackie O or Audrey Hepburn (Tip: If you have long hair definitely wear it up to showcase this dress's neckline). The sleeves are fun and not cumbersome. The material of the dress is a heavy crepe but it was so comfortable and warming (in a good way) for a cold NH evening event. This dress is very flattering and fun to wear. I am a frequent RTR patron and prefer Badgley Mischka as I know their designs always fit my frame at a size 18. My pant size is usually a 16 but I always get an 18 dress and it always fits. This one ran a tad larger but it was perfect and I was glad I chose that size vs. a size smaller. Definitely rent this beautiful dress--it was one of my favorites and got me a lot of compliments!

This dress is perfect. Great fit, high quality, classic style. Everything you would expect from Badgley Mischka. I wore it to the theatre with my son and felt like a million bucks. I'm usually a size 8 so that's what I ordered and it was spot on, fit perfectly.

True to size

I loved this dress, perfect for the colder weather. Ran a little large and had been worn a bit or I would have purchased.

I ordered a size 8 & 10 and went with the 8. It was a little large under the bust and above the stomach, which was fine. The only thing that annoyed me was grabbing food and making sure the sleeves didn't get dirty. Other than that factor, the sleeves were my favorite part! Also I loved the high neck. I would recommend wearing this to a winter event because it was rather heavy. I loved this dress! 10/10 would rent again!

Great dress. Heavy weight material to keep you warm for winter parties

Absolutely stunning! Great quality material is thick, it's winter in Boston and I'm outside without a jacket. I can not say enough great things about this dress.

We went to dinner at a winery, then dancing at a local casino with two other couples and this dress was perfect. It was so comfortable...the fabric, the fit, the length! Not once did I have to tug on the dress or readjust it! I will definitely be looking for this one to be available to buy.

I loved this dress. It's heavy but fits great. It was my second choice and I didn't wear it to the party (thought I'd be too hot. ) But I cant wait to wear it another time.

I wore this dress for my performance in my church's Christmas choir concert. The cut is very flattering for people like me with a large bust and a bit of a belly. The fabric is heavy and lined and therefore great for the winter time (in Texas granted). I got so many compliments on the dress being classic and perfect. I couldn't be happier with the rental!

Zipper was a bit difficult

I rented this for my holiday reception at work. Loved it! I am a solid 14, hourglass figure and I found this to be ever so slightly tight in hip area and a tiny bit loose in back/shoulders. But it was stunning and I had a TON of compliments all night long. I wore Spanx underneath, but may not have needed them as the dress is thick but stretchy. This is the second Badgley Mischka dress I have rented, in a similar style and I highly recommend the brand for gals that want to show off their curves.

The dress is fantastic. I was concerned the sheath wouldn't be flattering since I'm a curvy girl, but the fabric is substantial with enough give that the dress fit perfectly.

Dress was true to size, I wear size 2 and that's the size that fit me! I got a few compliments about the dress and felt so professional and comfortable at the same time!
