I absolutely loved this dress! The embroidery detail is so beautiful (and not captured well from afar IMO). It was forgiving in the midsection so no worries if you were going to eat a good meal :) And best of all, no need for a bra unless you’re Daly busty (I’m a 34D). I was torn between this and another dress for the event I was attending, but unfortunately got to wear neither because I got the stomach flu that day (tragic!). But I loved it so much I made my husband take a pic the next morning after my recovery so this beautiful dress didn’t go undocumented! I would definitely rent (or buy!) it again for a future event. Also, I bought the neon yellow pumps for the other dress, but they went perfectly with this one too and brought that extra bit of zing to the look 🙌🏼

I rented this dress for a work event (awards ceremony) in Seattle. I went with the size 16, since I wanted a little extra room, for my postpartum belly. It was heavy but without being too hot. Lots of compliments! A tad short for me but I'm also paranoid. The details in person are so beautiful!

I wore this to a business dinner. While everyone else was wearing black I stood out with a pop of color. The fit was very comfortable. The sleeves fit great. The dress was a little shorter than I expected but not too short.

Loved this dress for my 20 year high school reunion. I should have sized up since it fit a little tight, but it worked for the night. Perfect dress for a fall/winter evening event.

Fit true to size, sleeves were long on me but all sleeves are long on me because I’m petite. Length was excellent, not too long like most “short” dresses are on someone my height. Lots of guests came to compliment us on being the best dressed couple (besides the bride and groom, of course)! It was a heavy material but not crazy. (It was an outdoor wedding in mid May in the South) I would definitely recommend this dress to someone.

This dress was perfect for a spring wedding in Idaho. The embroidery was stunning and I received many compliments on the dress. It was also very comfortable. I will definitely rent from RTR again.

Fit great! Zipper is hard to get up because fabric is so thick. Such beautiful details. The sleeves were *slightly* stiff/scratchy but honestly much more mild than I anticipate reading some reviews I loved wearing this!

I really loved this dress, and it's definitely something new and different. Very good quality material, and the sleeves are gorgeous! I will say that the colors look different in person as opposed to photos (less metallic and more green). I loved it anyways though, photographs really well. I do wish the waist was a bit more fitted. I probably would not recommend this for warmer weather though, as the fabric is somewhat heavy.

Beautiful dress. Wore it to a wedding in late February. Only con was that it ran a little small (recommend sizing up but made the 6 work) and sleeves were a little short on me. I'm 5'8, 140lbs, and normally wear a size 6 for reference.

Loved the dress, but it had no stretch though and was kinda heavy and uncomfortable at the end of the day.

Recommend for winter / fall wedding. Camera doesn't pick up the stunning embroidery. It's gorgeous. Seems to be best captured in person or in natural daylight. Nice fitted sheer-ish sleeves. Fitted body. Bottom does pouf a bit (part of the style), which is why I recommend high heels. At 5'2, my 3.75 inch heels helped elongate and carry the extra pouf. Would rent again. Super comfortable. You will need help zippering. Impossible to do on your own due to delicate zipper and thick/heavy material.

I have had my eye on this dress since I joined RTR. The embroidered flowers are beautiful and make this dress so unique looking. I had people stopping me to feel my dress haha! Honestly I loved it and am considering purchasing. Was a little tight in the chest area, but nothing too inconvenient

Loved this dress and got a lot of compliments. Wore this to a wedding in November in the Midwest and it didn't disappoint! It was perfectly warm in the arm area. I went bare legs for the afternoon reception at a church and then put black tights on for the reception. Both versions worked perfectly- paired with black heels. I went up a size because the arms were a tad tight and the fabric has no stretch to it. Overall, highly recommend!

The dress is stunning. I wore it with a belt and army jacket for work and then more dressed up with a khaki coat for church. Loved it! It's hard to zip by yourself but definitely doable! Will look to rent again!!

Heavy a bit but a beautiful dress!!!

It turned out to be slightly hotter than anticipated on the day I wore this dress, which meant the long sleeves and thick embroidery were a little too warm. Being petite, I was concerned it would be too big for my frame but it ended up working really well. I would definitely rent again and had many people asking where I got it from!

The fit was perfect, if anything a little snug. The fabric is definitely on the heavier side, but falls so nicely and looks great. Very well-made dress, everyone asked me where I got it!

This dress was so fun! I loved it from the picture online and it was even more beautiful in person. I read some reviews that the material is itchy but honestly I didn't notice that at all. Its the perfect dress if you're looking for something a little different!

I really wish I had a dollar for every compliment I received in this dress. For me, this dress ticked off all of the boxes needed for a sorority formal I went to. The detailed embroidery was gorgeous and a lot more vibrant in person than in some review photos. As for the fit, I have larger arms and I had no issues with the sleeves. I'm 5'3 and found that the sleeves were just slightly long but it wasn't noticeable at all. I highly recommend this dress for any formal occasion, just be mindful that the embroidery makes the fabric a bit thick so it might be best for cooler temperatures or AC. I received so many sweet compliments from this dress and I look forward to renting from this designer again!

Lovely spring dress - flattering fit, long sleeves in case of chill, a little bit sexy but still formal. Loads of compliments.

This made me feel so elegant and beautiful; although material is a bit thick, it is comfortable and I would rent this again.

NOTE: I fit into the 4 perfectly but I've been fighting a cough and knew I'd be taking in big deep breaths all night so I wore the 6 for a little extra breathing room. But the 4 fit like a glove and had good arm movement! I loved this dress. It had great weight to it and was colorful enough for an early, not-quite-spring wedding, without being too bright, and it was warm enough for our Ohio temps.

I rented this dress for an engagement shoot. It was comfortable, on the warmer side, and not too short. I didn't wear it for the shoot but that is only because the pictures were delayed. Both sizes fit me but I think I would have worn the 12 due to the length. I had extra room in the sleeves in both sizes for anyone who is concerned about the arms being too tight.

While on my body it was a little big just below the chest into the stomach, the embroidered element of the piece made it very hard to tell. Wore this 4 times!!

This dress looks amazing in person. The purple is so vibrant. It's great for winter weddings or events because the material is very thick (and forgiving). There's not a lot of stretch in the chest but that wasn't a problem for me. The only thing I will say is that if slightly scratchy embroidered sleeves bother you than this dress will drive you crazy. But I got so many compliments all night!

So pleased with this choice. I'm not much of a review writer, but after all the compliments I received it'd be a pity not to rave about this look. The fit was good, I sized down from my normal 6 with no issue. Colors are vibrant. Worn for several hours comfortably. And I traveled from the event and the dress doesn't wrinkle or wear poorly. Love, love, love.

Perfect fit - zipper was tough, needed to be held at bottom of dress so it was tight when zipping up! I couldn't wear a bra, but the dress held me in fine! Looked great with opaque tights and wedges for a winter wedding!

The only "con" was I thought I had ordered a back up size - and I didn't! So, although it fit well, the waist of it hit me at an odd place and the thickness of the embroidery made the midsection look a bit unflattering. I wish I'd had one size up.
