This dress was so simple and classic. I'm so glad I rented it and plan on doing so again! The 6 fit great and super form fitting but I ultimately went with the 8 to have a little more comfort since there wasn't a huge difference between the two, for this reason I'd urge to size up. Got tons of compliments and definitely felt sexy and confident in this dress!

I loved the length and neckline! I am a typical 6 and chose 8 as my backup size but could have been a 4. Overall I'd still say runs true to size but maybe that will help someone else with choosing backup!

Loved the fit and the details. This dress was super comfortable going from drinks, to a celebration dinner then rooftop clubs. Wore with silver shoes to match the details.

I've got a typical misshapen mommy belly, as well as just being overweight. This dress is gorgeous and made me feel sexy and chic! I did wear a scarf around my arms a bit to cover them up as well as let me cover up the inevitable belly bump. This dress is FITTED. It doesn't hide a belly, but if you are self conscious about your stomach and want to hide it, you have options with this dress. The slit and the metal accents are fab, and the simplicity of the dress lends itself to any type of styling

I rented this to wear to a bachelorette party. It was a really fun dress that was easy to pack and didn't wrinkle (nice thick fabric.) The neckline and the studs in front are fun details. Would rent again. It was fitted without being tight which was nice. I did think overall it ran a little on the large side. I ended up wearing the smaller back up size I rented.

Incredibly flattering fit. Loved the edgy sexy flair the lace-up eyelets gave the dress. The slit was high, but not too high. Loved this so much I considered keeping it for good.

I felt great in this dress! It was very flattering and fit to a T. The slit up the thigh gave it a nice sexy, yet classy vibe for a date. I wanted to wear it to work too, but the metal grommets where the dress ties above the slit shows some upper thigh (although this could maybe be hidden with a slip).

I wore this to a cabaret night at a bachelorette party. The dress felt sexy and sophisticated. The leg slit is not revealing. I did not wear a bra with it, as the straps are at odd angles, but the material was quality enough that it was comfortable to go without. I'd order this dress again for another night out, I received a lot of compliments on my shape.

I have to credit the staff at Rent the Runway for this amazing rental. The dress I rented became unavailable less than a week before the event and they choose and sent me this dress as a replacement. The dress felt so amazing on my body. I rented a size 14 and 16. The 14 looked amazing but it was a little snug. I chose to wear the 16 because I knew I would be sitting most of the night.

I normally wear a size 2 for Banana Republic dresses but I decided to rent a size 4 and 6 after reading other's review. It's a very comfortable dress. I would not recommend to wear it super tight because you need to have room to show off your legs or choose not to show off.

This fit true to size. The holes in the grommets do rise very high when you sit. I could have worn black spanx underneath but didn't need to. Very fun and flattering for a party. A little long but felt right with the slit.

I weara 36DDD bra size. Because of my bra size, my dress size can range from an 10 to a 14 depending on the material of the dress. Needless to say, finding dresses (especially those I cant physically try on) is extremely difficult. However this dress was a perfect fit! It was very form fitting with a little bit of stretch. I actually wore this dress with no bra because the dress was able to hold my boobs up. If I was able to try this on in the store I probably would've purchased the size 10. The grommet detail on the dress was perfect and added a 'cool'feel. If I could have purchased this dress, I would have! Ill be looking for this dress when RTR does their "Keep It Forever Sale"!

I was broken up with by my boyfriend of over one and a half years right before the wedding we were supposed to attend last weekend (it was my friend's wedding). I knew I needed to look great for this wedding to make myself feel better. My dress I originally ordered was way too long, so in ice-cream bloated desperation, I found this dress. I tried it on and I felt sexy, which says a lot for someone who had been binging on wine and chocolate for three days. There is a little bit of stretch with this dress but it does run small. I wear a 14 in almost all dresses but I read reviews that it ran small and opted for the 16 and it fit like a glove. The slit is rather high but with the grommets it keeps it together just giving the hit of a high slit. I am 5'7 and it came just to the middle of my knee so perfect length. You do need to wear strapless bra with this. The cut really accents you shoulder which I think is quite beautiful! I would definitely rent this again for a date or even a wedding. It is a great twist on the little black dress.
