I usually wear a 2 or 4, but there weren't any 2s available so I got a 4R and 6P and ended up wearing the 4R. I'm 5'5 and I wore flats so it was a tad long (a 4P would've been a good length with flats) but walking around it was still extremely comfortable and the perfect size!

Fit was great - only issue was a bit of a gap under the arms. I received multiple compliments - the back of the dress is awesome!

This was absolutely perfect for a summer black tie wedding, the fabric was pretty heavy so it could work in any season… very easy and elegant in all the right ways!

This was a replacement option because my first choice didn't fit. Ended up being 100 times better than my first choice! Very comfortable, I wore shaper underwear, but could have done without. Even though it is fitted through the hips and tummy, it does not accentuate any trouble spots. I am very full in the hips and did have to pull it up just a bit to sit; but I still comfortably eat a meal. I received so many compliments throughout the night! Showstopper

Very comfortable, nice fit. The back is very interesting with the ruffles so adds some uniqueness to an otherwise black dress. I did find it hard to find the right bra to wear. If you are smaller chested you could probably go without but I am a 36DD and ended up with a strapless but it wasn't perfect as the back is pretty low

This dress fits perfectly, is comfortable to wear and walk in. A true classic. Perfectly cut to wear a strapless (or not).

I absolutely loved this dress. It was sleek and sexy, without being to provocative. It was a little large in the chest/underarm area, but it was still wearable and gorgeous on. I'm 5'11" and the length was perfect with heels.

I'm 5'8" 154 36D and was right in between the 8L and the 10L. Went with the smaller size because of the way the top of the dress was cut. The fabric is luxurious and the back was so pretty. One star off of a perfect score because the dress has obviously been rented and worn many many times (as it should!) and there were some parts of the dress (hem, white satiny trim) that were frayed and roughed up. Still, one of my favorite rentals. SO ELEGANT!

I decided not to wear this dress because it was a little loose on me around the waist. But if I got it one size smaller I would have definitely worn it! It's a beautiful dress!!!

I was worried about my 3 month postpartum belly but this dress is so flattering! I'm 5' 6" and wore 3 inch heels and could walk without holding the dress up.

This dress was the perfect option for a wedding. The quality was excellent and as someone who is 5'5" and not looking to wear 6" heels, the petite size was a perfect length for me. I wore a decent size heal and the dress grazed the floor. The material has a little give so was comfortable all night long. The back has a very deep V and the sides in the front cut in slightly which makes this not suitable for a normal strapless bra. I normally wear a size 6 and would think that size would have fit in this dress for a more form fitting look, but the petite length was available in an 8 so I ordered that size instead and it fit fine.

Love the fit and size 8 fit like a glove. I ordered the regular size since I couldn't wear heels due to a knee injury and I wore flats. The dress didn't drag, it was the right length. Got many complements all night.

This dress was my spare and didn't end up wearing it, but it was lovely and the Size 4 fit well. I'm 5'5" with an athletic body type.

I received this dress as a back up option after the dress I originally ordered turned out to be unavailable. At first I was hesitant just based on the pictures, but I have to say the pictures do not do this dress justice!! The dress is SO flattering and the open back with the ruffles adds just the right amount of sexiness/sassiness. I received compliments all night! It was also extremely comfortable to dance in! I am 5'4 and 3" heels were perfect for the regular length, but there still was a bit of a train. Only small downside is if you are bigger-chested you may want to rethink...I am only a B cup and felt a little self-conscious about the side boob! Otherwise, overall true to size and a great option! Would love to rent again.

This dress is beautiful. The back is really breathtaking and I absolutely loved it. Overall fit is true-to-size, but the top was a little big on me. I chalked it up to not being able to wear a regular bra, but still went with a backless bra option and some fashion tape did the trick. Length worked well for my height. I wore 2-3" heels and it just touched the floor.

Fit perfectly! I'm petite so I was worried about length. I wore two inch block heels, and it was perfect, but I think it could've worked with higher heels also. First RTR experience, and it was SO worth it.

I got the 4L and 6L as my primary dress. I wore the 4, and it fit great, I would say I am normally closer to a 6 though which is why I said it runs large. I got multiple compliments and loved the dress. It was also very comfortable - I have never felt more elegant. I would highly recommend!

Loved this dress. Rented for a formal wedding. Size 6 fit perfectly. You can't wear a regular bra though because of the back but the back is what makes this dress a statement.

I was in love with this dress. I wore it for a formal wedding and got so many compliments. It does run true to size, and as others have commented, it is a bit loose in the arm pit area. I think if you have a bigger busy, it'd be no problem. I didn't even bother to tape as other have, it was hardly noticeable. 10/10 would recommend!!! I want to purchase die myself now.

I didn't end up wearing this but if it was my only choice it would have been great. Nice neckline and simple ruffle , simple but elegant.

Love this dress! wearing this for the graduation Gala. The front is simple, but the back is really pretty. I ordered 2R, with 4R as backup. My body is pear, so 2R is a little bit tight at my crotch (but no problem to wear it). So I wore 4R to the Gala, butI should've used tape for the top that was a little bit loose.

Perfect gown for black tie gala. True to size. I wore 3" heels and dress length was great. Small train but that adds some elegance. Could not wear a bra with this but no issues.

The ruffled low back was a showstopper! I received compliments all night. The dress was a little snug around the hips but it still looked flattering. Length was perfect (I'm 5'6 and wore flats).

This dress was amazing. I felt truly beautiful and received so many compliments on it throughout the night at a black tie wedding I attended on New Year's Eve. This dress was so comfortable yet elegant. I wore the 2L and it was a touch big but it worked. I am only 5'4" but wore 5" heels with it-and it was perfect in length. The only con is that you can't wear a bra with it and I wasn't comfortable wearing nothing with it. I wore a stick on backless bra and that was perfect. I loved the low back with ruffle contrasting color detail. I would definitely rent this dress again if I have the opportunity to.

Absolutely loved this dress! Wore it to a black tie wedding and got many compliments. I typically wear a 6 (I am 5'5 and 135 lbs) and the 6R fit very true to size. It was a tiny bit long, but with 3 inch heels, I had no issues walking and dancing all night. Only minor thing was the material underneath the arms was a bit loose, but a little fashion tape kept them in place and I never thought about it again. The dress is a bit fitted through the mid-section, but very flattering. Highly recommend!

This is the BEST dress! I would buy it in a heartbeat-it fit exactly how I wanted-the 0R was true to size and hit the ground perfectly so my shoes were covered but I wasn't tripping all night. I would 100% order this dress again. I wore it to a black tie gala for the my local Opera.

I am 5'1", about 114 lbs, with 32 A chest size. I wore 2 P which fit perfectly. It hung on my body in a way that showed off my slim figure and bottom but not in a way that was inappropriate or was tight in areas that I don't want to accentuate (the food belly after dinner). I wore sticky boobs and wish they had been more padded as the loose material completely washed out my chest. Not in an awkward manner, just me being critical as a female. Because it was not tight fitting, it was extremely comfortable to wear, walk around in, sit and stand. I stepped on the bottom several times and had to hold while waking which was expected for my short stature ( I wore 4 inch heels). It did not make the dress any less wonderful or cumbersome to wear. With the back exposed it showed just enough skin to still remain classy and elegant. I wore to an Air Force Ball.

AH-MAZING dress! I was getting compliments all night and when my boyfriend went to work on Monday his coworkers gave him compliments on my dress! I was SO NERVOUS using RTR for the first time, I'm 5'2", 140lbs, sort of athletic build? 34B. Mostly just short, so it can be a problem when petites make everything smaller instead of just shorter, like smaller arm holes, etc, and finding formal wear that doesn't need to be altered at every seam is a nightmare. That said, I couldn't believe how perfect this dress fit. With 3" heels it hit just above my toes, so no dragging on the ground or tripping but also not too short. The low back looked beautiful. I'm a 34B so I wore a stick on bra. If you're a slightly larger cup size you can probably get away with pasties (the fabric isn't firm enough to hide if you're cold, if you know what I mean). Simple pearl earrings and a bold red lip was all the dress needed. This dress is classically beautiful and will invoke feelings of Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn.
