Fit well and the material was surprisingly breathable even though it was faux leather

I wore this dress to my friends birthday party and I absolutely loved it; I didn't want to send it back. I'm a vegetarian so I tend to stay away from all things leather but since this was "faux" leather I was able to wear it. No one could tell it wasn't the real deal. I felt super confident in this and definitely got a lot of attention from it! I will say this dress does run a bit small so I suggest getting the size up as a back-up dress. But just like leather shoes, it stretched out as I wore it and was still comfortable.

I rented this dress for a black tie ball in October. The color is gorgeous and the texture is really unique. It was a (positive) topic of conversation. It fit really well. The side detail is gold-ish and black, so black heels worked well.

I wore this dress to a charity event and it fit me perfectly! I am very small, and very small chested as well (32A) and I rented the size 2. The only issues I had with the dress were, it’s not as gold as it looks in these pictures, it’s actually a lot closer to a bronze color and the fabric underneath it was very loose so it was either peeking out on the top of the dress or on the bottom of the dress. I found this to be distracting because I felt like I was fidgeting with it all night. Despite those two minor issues I felt gorgeous in this dress and was complimented on by several people. I don’t know that I would rent this dress again, but it was definitely worth renting it the first time!

I didn't realize the material was leathery- should have paid more attention to that. It was very thick, hot, and hard to keep due to my small bust size. Would have ordered a different dress if I had known the material was that thick, however this would be perfect for a winter event.

Dress runs VERY small. I am a pretty solid size 2, and I couldn't even get the 2 on! My sister, who is a 00-0 tried it on, and we couldn't get it zipped! They were out of the 4, but I should have ordered the 6 as a backup. It was a beautiful dress and I was disappointed not to be able to wear it.

I agree with everyone, it runs quite small. I normally wear a 4, and this time wore a 6. Also it's NOT TRUE TO COLOR. It's much darker than the picture shows. Looks a little dumpy on; I'm a skinny girl, and it didn't do me much justice. Still, I enjoyed wearing it. It's a fun little thing, it's just not as advertised.

I'm usually a 4 or a 6, and the 6 fit perfectly. The dress was HOT! And everyone complimented it! I just kept grinning about my little renttherunway secret! This was my first RTR item, and I was so happy with it!

Great dress! I wore it to a semi-formal/formal party, and it worked out perfectly. I didn't think it ran small, but it is on the snug side - I usually wear a 4 or a 6, and I went with the 6. The length was great for my height, hit me a few inches above the knee so it was sexy but not inappropriate. The fabric (leather) is really beautiful, and I think the color was darker than it is in the pictures. It was my first experience with RTR and I loved it!

I got a lot of compliments on the beautiful dress, but it was short on me... or I'm just not used to having a dress that is mid-thigh or slightly shorter. I wore sheer black tights underneath to make me a bit less self-conscious about the length, which worked perfectly with the fur capelet that I needed to keep me warm while outside.

I have to say, there were more ups than downs with this dress. Let's start with the downs: the lining on the bust kept popping out, and the dress itself was pretty heavy, but that's understandable since it's leather and all. The ups: I got many compliments, I not only looked great, but I felt confident, it's not too short, and I was actually able to dance in it. I'm so in love with the detailing too! So glad I went with this dress.

Definitely runs small. My past two rtr rentals have been a zero; I ended up with a 4 this time. Order up FOR SURE. Also, not as flattering as I would have hoped! I am very slender, short waisted, in good shape. But this just hit me wrong. Also, it was VERY short. That being said, still a gorgeous dress, and a lot of fun.

I wore this dress to a wedding. I normally wear a size 2 but for this dress I wore a 4. It fit perfectly and looked great one. The only problem I had was that the lining inside kept popping up through the top but it might have been my strapless bra pushing it up. Otherwise great dress!

Runs small - the leather makes the dress look unique but it just didn't look right on me...it is a nice looking dress.

The dress is a beautiful, soft leather, but the inside lining COMPLETELY showed over the top. I tried to tape it but it was like a quarter of an inch of fabric so I couldn't wear it. If the dress wasn't leather I maybe could have ironed it down. Also the exterior fabric at the waist wasn't laying right (as it is in the pic). It just seemed like the maintenance and care on this dress were below the usually very high standards of RTR. Also, this dress runs VERY SMALL. I ordered a size larger than my normal and a back up even larger than that, which is the one I tried to wear. Would not recommend this dress, which is a shame because it really looked one of a kind.

Runs small is a HUGE understatement. I'm 5'2", weigh 105 lbs, and always wear a size 0. I ordered the 0 and 2 and literally could not get either dress on... couldn't get it up over my butt, couldn't zip it! The size 4 must be significantly larger, because the 0 and 2 are ridiculously small and some of the other reviewers mentioned the 4 fit. I don't know what to say, can't recommend renting this dress because you just don't know if it's going to fit.
