The dress was perfect! I had to go up a size due to having large hips/butt, but overall, fit perfectly! The length wasn't too short on me (I'm 5'6) and there's enough stretch for it to go over your hips/legs. I recommend getting the 'Hollywood Fashion Secrets' Silicone Coverups as these were perfect with the dress. I got compliments all day/night long! I convinced one of my family members to use Rent the Runway for the upcoming wedding! Thanks RTR!

But everything worked out perfectly. The fit was great! Having a low back to the dress and a sizable bust meant hard work to establish support. But it was worth it! What I realized (afterwards) was that I wasn't fidgeting with it, adjusting it, or checking on it all night. All I did was have a good time. Who wants to worry about their clothes all night? Not me. And I didn't have to. This dress makes me excited to use RTR again.

I don't normally wear a 0 but that size fit great. The only downside was that sometimes my hair would get caught on the sequins. Loved the dress!!

This was a very comfortable dress to wear and it fit me beautifully. I got a lot of compliments on it. It's an elegant dress for a formal occasion.

If you’re between sizes go down a size. I could’ve done the 16 but I’m glad I did the 18. It was comfortable to sit and eat all the great food in Vegas.

I could probably fit into the 16, but went with the 18 so it wasn't so tight on my (beer) belly. The dress fits well and was comfortable for over 5 hours without a bra (it does not have a built in bra). I did not have any problems with the shoulders falling down or slip riding up. You could see the lining a bit at the end of the sleeves, but it was easy to adjust and not noticeable to anyone else. Even being a bigger lady, I received many compliments on the dress and saw a few other sequined dresses, but none like this one! I would definitely wear it again, or buy it if they had one!

The dress fits true to size. I wore the dress to an evening wedding in the fall and I received so many compliments on the dress. I was able to fit spanx underneath the dress however I decided to go without a bra.

Fit was great. I was 3.5 mo. pregnant and it was very comfortable. Dress never fell off my shoulders.

I could have stayed in this for the rest of the day! It's easy to get on, fit great, and the liner is so soft, the sequins aren't scratchy at all. It looked great on Zoom, but I would love to rent this again for a party someday.

My daughter is 6’ and has a 26” waist...the 2 may have fit but the 4 was a bit longer and gave her a little room. Love that there are tall sizes for girls like my daughter! The skirt was not too short. She could sit and dance without worry.

Runs small, so I wore the 8 when I am traditionally a 6. The sleeves did roll up a bit, so you could see the lining as others mention. Overall this was a great dress for hubby's 40th anniversary Christmas party.

Very comfortable dress with well made liner. Sequins did not irritate my sensitive skin. Very flattering. I usually have to size up in dresses to fit my bust and broader shoulders, but open back allowed me to stick with a 2, which fit better in hips.

I’m roughly 110 lbs 5’ 3 slender athletic build. I carry much of my bulk in my shoulders and back, and typically struggle wearing dresses with sleeves (think inverted triangle). I typically wear a standard 2, but because this one had an open back, was able to size down. For me, this dress wasn’t constricting or fitted anywhere other than across the chest and shoulders. The fabric has a small amount of give, especially around the midsection and thighs, and has a built in slip. This dress worked really well for the occasion, fit nicely, and looked excellent in pictures (even after dinner and drinks).

Perfect for a late October wedding in NJ. The open back and 3/4 sleeves was a perfect balance for the outdoor cocktail hour & wasn't too hot for dancing inside. Due to the low back, I wasn't able to wear a regular bra but used one of those sticky bras. The shoulders fit me a little large but I wasn't fussing with the sleeves/shoulder area all night. The rest of the dress had just enough stretch to not feel like I was being sucked in but was structured so I didn't feel like a bag of potatoes.

I wore this dress to a very formal wedding and it was important to me that I dress perfectly. This piece did NOT disappoint. I'm short, curvy, and bosomy - it's oftentimes a challenge to find formal clothes that fit well. With the appropriate undergarments - in my case, a bralette/thong onesie and spanx - it fit very well. I could have probably even worn a size smaller. I was told several times throughout the evening that I was the best dress guest of the night! I NEVER get that! I would definitely rent this piece again. I might even buy it!

The 8 fit perfectly. The dress is very Hollywood glam, elegant and the deep back is a sexy touch! I wore a stick em up bra so the strap would not show in the back. I walked, sat, and danced in this dress and was super comfortable. I paired it with high sexy heels and simple gold earrings. Lots of compliments! The RTR process was sooo easy!

Dress fit so great! The 10 was a little loose so I went with the 8. It has a little ruching so it's very flattering and the back was sexy. Got so many compliments all night! I was nervous using RTR the first time but I actually received my dress a day ahead of scheduled delivery time and the process of returning was seamless.

This dress fit like a glove and was so easy to wear. The sleeves never fell down and I never felt like I had to adjust anything. I wore it with a pair of black peep-toed booties and put my hair into a side chignon - perfect! I was sad to send it back.

This was my first experience with RTR and I was overall very impressed with my experience! I've known about this service but was always hesitant to use because of the lack of time for plan B if my dress selection fit. The reviews on this site I found to be SO helpful in choosing the right dress for this party. I was even lucky enough to receive my dresses 2 days ahead of schedule which alleviated some of my fears about a potential time crunch. The return process was SUPER simple and convenient. I will definitely be using RTR for future special occasions. I'm 5'2 and usually a size 8, and I felt this dress was definitely true to size. The open, scooped back is a real show stopper, and adds some flirt and drama to an eye-catching dress, while not being "too revealing." The dress was lined in a soft material that was thick enough to keep me from feeling any scratching from the sequins, which I have found to be a problem with similar dresses of lesser quality. While the dress was fitted (especially while sporting a bit of classic holiday season bloat), but I found it very comfortable to wear and move around in. It was fitted, but not tight or restrictive in any way. If you're looking for a bright fun dress that will leave you feeling glamorous all evening, this is the one!

I wore a backless bra and used two sided tape to keep the shoulders of the dress in place. It's comfortable and I had no problem dancing. The dress would look better on someone size 0 regular. Because of my petite torso the dress was a little too large at top and longer to my knees but, snug at the hips.

My friend and I had a 30th birthday photo session and I wanted the perfect dress! When I found this dress, I was thrilled! I kiiiiinda felt like a superstar for the day! It was definitely form fitting. I ended up getting some spanx, which was definitely a must because of the fabric and style of the dress. This dress is so fun and sparkly! I was nervous the sequins would scratch up my skin because my skin is so sensitive! But the inner liner kept the sequins off of my skin and I didn’t have any irritation at all. The liner in my arm did show every once in a while- but I simply tucked it back up and it was fine. I did notice a small hole in the armpit of the left arm. I notified the company and they offered to replace the dress right away. However, for what I needed the dress for, it wasn’t necessary. They offered me a coupon for my next rental since I didn’t need a replacement. I will absolutely use RTR again! The whole process was so easy and I loved the dress so much!

I wore this dress to a work holiday party and got lots of compliments on it. I felt beautiful and stood out as everyone was wearing black or other dark colors. The dress fit was comfortable and the fabric was actually soft and stretchy. I went with no bra and felt fine. Definitely should wear your hair up to show off the beautiful back.

The outfit fits great and brings out your natural curves. The dress is perfectly made so that the back doesn't drop too low. It is a very beautiful dress.

I couldn't believe that a fancy dress like this could be so comfortable - I felt great and didn't have to adjust anything the whole evening. The back is quite low. I didn't have a backless bra so I wore my regular one and tucked the middle a bit into my bra. It looked fine and was I was relieved I could wear my regular bra. I'm in between 6 & 8 and 8 fit better. Great dress! Will rent again :)

I am 5 months pregnant and this dress hugged my figure perfectly! I received so many compliments - even from strangers! Overall, great dress and super comfortable. This was my first RTR experience and I'm very happy with the whole experience!
