Wore this dress to a black tie event with my new boyfriend where first impressions were critical. The evening could have been a complete disaster however. Firstly, I got an email the night before the dress was to ship saying that RTR couldn't send me my first choice dress, nor my backup dress, as neither had been returned on time. They could only send me my backup size and two other dresses selected by a stylist, neither of which I knew, would suit me. So I was really apprehensive. To make matters worse, I broke my ankle 2 weeks before the event and so the chances of me getting to a store to find a replacement dress to wear at the last minute were zero. Thankfully the backup size fitted beautifully. I had so many nice comments and it made me feel fabulous, even accessorized with the enormous cast on my right leg and a pair of crutches!

Fit like a glove! I'm roughly 130lbs, 5'3. The length was perfect, which I was most worried about. The dress is so well made and comfortable but I did throw on some extra spanx to help smooth things out after a week of eating out and drinking in the city. Can't wait to order another dress. So easy!

I normally wear a size 20 in business suits. Size 22's run large. The dress hugged my curves and had some boning in it. The 22 fit well. This is more of a stand up dress as the boning became uncomfortable when I sat for extended periods. My friends loved it on me. The dress wasn't too heavy, not too hot, and I could walk/dance in it easily. I got the long version since I'm on the tall side. I wore flats and was fine. A heel would've been perfect.

The dress is true to size. I was worried the long would be too long but with my heels it was just right. I am 5'6"

Dress fits true to size! I ordered a 0 and a 2 and ended up going with the 2 because it was more comfortable for a large dinner and then dancing. The cup size was a little large on the size 2 (I'm a small A cup) but I added some adhesive foam cups and it fit perfectly! I'm 5'3 and the dress wasn't too long with average height heels on. Loved it!

This dress fit in all the right places. I am a true hourglass figure and felt it was very flatttering. The wire ribs in the mid section helps with support my bust. I was very comfortable all evening long and had compliments left and right.

Perfect fit. I wear size 10 and am 5'7. Wore kitten heels and length was perfect for size 10L. Wore self stick bra and spanx slip for tummy tuck. The insert of the dress was tight and stretchy; perfect to hold things together. Would not recommend for small bust though.

LOVED THISSSS!! I wore it for my birthday dinner and wanted to stay in it all night. It fit so well in all the right places and was the perfect length since i did not wear heels. Makes your hour glass shape look even more pronounced. Got stares (of admiration and envy) all the way back to my table!

I am 5’5” and I wore the 14 regular. It fit perfectly and didn’t drag on the ground when I had my heals on (I was worried that it would). I couldn’t have had a better experience.

I am in love with this dress. I am slightly insecure of my arms so the bardot style arm was perfect. The fabric is thick and extremely flattrring (didn't even need to wear my faja/spanx...which blew my mind) It fit true to size. Ordered a 12 and I wear a size 12 jeans. I received so many compliments all night. I felt great!! In a sea of black dresses the red color really stood out. I have reordered the dress twice. My fiance loves it too!! Definitely recommend!

I needed a regal dress for a family wedding and this fit the bill. I definitely felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman which made the experience pretty fun. The material is rather thick so it was perfect for a winter event and relived the need for spanx (thank god). It's an old school Hollywood vibe that never goes out of style.

Received so many compliments. Gorgeous and flattering shade of red. Fit like a glove. Has stays in waist and bust for shape. So comfortable and felt beautiful wearing it.

Hugged all the right curves. I am usually a 2 or 4 depending on fit-small waist, curvier hips. They were not able to send the 2 I originally ordered, but the 4 worked great in hips and length (with high heels). It was just a tad too big in waist and chest but was not a problem. Material is great in hiding any flaws and the dress color was lovely "red apple" shade. I had sooooo many compliments on this dress and I would for sure rent it again! #thanksagainrtr

After one of my initial choices could no longer be shipped, I chose this dress as a backup. I ended up loving it way more than the first dress I picked! The 10P ran a little small, but it was a tiny bit long. I think that the 8P would've been perfect, as I'm usually between a 6P and 8P. In general, the cut and fit of the dress were perfect and I couldn't have been happier with it!

Great dress! I️ received nothing but compliments all evening, even from the bride. The dress is great for women with curves and will be a definite showstopper at any formal event. Fits true to size, and there is just enough stretch to walk and sit comfortably. Must wear an undergarment that smooths because the dress will show any lines. I️ highly recommend it!

I teeter between a size 8 and size 10, and I could have gotten away with either size in this dress, but went with the 10 to be more comfortable dancing. I am very large chested, and the material was so thick and there was some wiring support, that I could have gone without a bra, but ultimately decided to wear one to give me more live (no bra in first photo, bra in second photo). I love that the material is thick and doesn't show cellulite. It also cleans fairly well with water (beer, pollen, and talcum powder all came out pretty easily). I'd buy this dress, but it's so memorable, everyone would know I was wearing it again!

The dress was very fitted. Arms are a little restricted but not to uncomfortable. The only problem was the lining keep riding up throughout the night and was a little annoying but didn't ruin my night.

It was comfortable and fit very well. The dress is definitely made for someone with a smaller chest but it worked well with my strapless bra. My only note is to keep track of the slip underneath after going to the bathroom. I experienced some bunching.

I rented four dresses and ended up wearing two that evening. This was not one of them. This dress fit like a glove and is great for hour glasses ! I was going to a blingy even and wasn't sure I could fancy it up. The dress is slightly casual to me (might be the fabric??). It would be lovely for an opera or night out that didn't require a lot of dazzle. It is NOT as red as RTR's pic. It's more on the darker side (see my pics)

This dress was actually my backup dress, but the moment I put it on, I was in love. It fit me so well and looked really nice on, much better than my first pick. I received many compliments on it too. It works well for pear shaped bodies. I would definitely rent this again in a heartbeat.

I loved this dress so much. I wore it to a formal event and received many compliments. The dress fit beautifully and is great for an hourglass figure. I loved that I didn't need to wear a bra under this dress as it had built in cups and boning in the bodice. It was super comfortable and flattering. I loved the color as well. I could only get the long size, and it did drag on the floor a bit. If I would have purchased this I would have it hemmed up a bit. I didn't want to send this dress back!

Rented this dress for a wedding in Ireland and it was the perfect mix of classy and comfortable. Usually I hate wearing strapless dresses but the fit and material of this dress made it easy to wear. I'm 5'11 and usually about 150# but was also ~5 months pregnant and the 8L fit great.

Fit: The dress fits and feels wonderfully. There's almost an internal shaper that makes wearing a shaper not even necessary - it just fell onto my body when I tried it on and I loved that feeling. The top of the 20 was a bit big on me because I'm smaller busted compared to my other proportions, but one piece of fashion tape on each side resolved that for me. Didn't need to wear a bra with it either because of thick material. Do note that if you order the long version of the dress, the L definitely is long. I'm 5'5" but ordered the 20WL because they didn't have the non-long version. I used fashion tape to "hem" the bottom up about an inch and paired with heels - it worked just fine for me! Look: the red is as vibrant as it is in the promotional photo. Because of the way everyone's uploaded pictures looked, I was worried it would be darker than the promotional pic, but that was not the car,e and the red was stunning and exactly as pictured in the photo on RTR. In All - I want to own this dress - I am considering saving and purchasing it because I felt so beautiful wearing it. Everyone complimented it, and even at a wedding where everyone was wearing gowns, it felt like a clear stand out. Wear this dress!

I was nervous to wear it as I have a curvier build but the dress was incredibly supportive and flattering. I got compliments the entire day. I am 5'7 and found it to be a smidge short on me. Would def recommend!

This fit true to size and was so beautiful! I'm 5'11 and 182lbs and wore the 14. I do wish I could have gotten the long one but I'm used to dresses being short on me so whatever. The boning in the bust stuck out and pricked me all night but I didn't even care because I felt so good in this dress!

This dress is stunning. Perfect fit, save for a little extra fabric around the waist, but truly loved wearing it. Tons of compliments and I felt like a princess.

This dress was magical. It fit like a glove and got lots of attention. The off the shoulder sleeves were super comfortable and easy to move in. It hugs your hips flawlessly. If you have a big event, rent this dress. It does run a little big. I ordered the 10 R as a back up and would have actually liked to try a size down instead.

I rented this same dress but the gold version for another wedding a few years ago. This one seemed much shorter and I was unable to wear it, even with flats since it hit just above my ankle.

This dress is amazing! Not only is the color a beautiful Apple red, it's made perfectly. It has boning in the bodice that gives you support and shape and the fabric is thick and will conceal any lines or bumps. I had to get the long since it was all that was available, at 5'5 I wore 4.5 inch heels (not in this pic) and it barely came off the ground so for the tall ladies - the long is long! And for the average height ladies - it's doable as long as you don't mind hold your dress up a bit.

This dress was GORGEOUS but I went with something a little more modest for my event! But it was VA-VA-VOOM.

Perfect fit

This was a replacement dress after the OG didn't fit right. I'm 5'10 and wore a low heel and the height was perfect (for once in my life). The fit was great. I did have to do the ol' cotton ball and band aid to cover the belly button trick but that's a personal preference. Only complaint is that my strapless bra pulled by boobs below where the curve in the bust was so I was pulling my boobs up and the dress down a lot. But overall stunning! And not too bright of a red for a wedding!

It accentuated my hourglass figure, while still offering support up top, even without over the shoulder straps. I wore a strapless bodysuit underneath and it worked great. The petite is still a bit long if you're short, but at 5'3, I wore 2 inch heels and had no problems with it. The fabric is thick and luxurious and was super comfortable to be in. Very flattering and tons of compliments. Would wear again!
