The fit was perfect and true to size. I will say that I'm 5'3" and the 2R was a little bit long; I had to wear tall heels to keep from tripping on the bottom of the dress. If you're under 5'3", definitely try to the petite version, but overall, a really great dress for a formal event.

This dress was a WIN! It's so simple yet so stunning. I was worried about the fit since I have a pear shape form-fitting dresses usually hug my hips in an unflattering way, but I did not have that problem with this dress. The material is thick, so it hides any lumps (I still wore spanx). I wore the 6L and found it to run true to size. I'm 5'8" and the length was great with 3 inch heels. I loved the touch of blue by the shoulders. Would absolutely recommend this dress!

This dress was perfect for a black tie dinner I went to! The colors went were fit for the event as it was a dinner to support police officers. The dress was true to size and fit amazingly. I was able to move around comfortably and the length was perfect for wearing with heels. I have never been disappointed with my RTR selections.

Dress was extremely flattering, and I received lots of compliments! If anything it maybe fit a bit small, but not in an uncomfortable way. Would definitely recommend this dress for formal occasions! (My bust size is a 34DD- not a listed option to be selected, but the dress did not feel at all constricting)

I usually wear a 6, but a 4 fit me like a glove. Very flattering cut. Slimming and forgiving in pictures. Loved the length and the small train.

Did not get to wear, but selected as an option for engagement photos. Gorgeous dress! A little loose (size 12r) but not in a bad way- very flattering and absolutely felt gorgeous! At 5'4 was really long on me.

I loved this dress, no complaints! This dress did fit a little looser than a sequin dress I rented last week from the same designer, I probably could have sized down but the 8 allowed some room to eat some wedding cake! The fabric was very nice and thick enough to where I did not need spanx.

This dress is so beautiful and adds a small pop of color to an otherwise classy dress. The fabric itself is stretchy and therefore really comfortable, hugging my "curves". I am 5'8" and tried on 2 and 4 inch heels with the regular, and they made it either slightly too long or too short so 3 inches (for a 5'11" height) probably would have been best. Overall, amazing dress.

This dress was true to size! I could have probably done a 2R instead of 2L. I wore heels with a 2-3 inch heel though, and it worked. It's a very simple but elegant dress. I wouldn't call it a show stopper, but it was easy to wear and dance in, and perfect for a black tie wedding.

I rented this dress in red for an event a while back and was excited to wear it in a different color -though this time I needed a little bigger of a size. The dress still worked out great! The only peculiar thing was that it was a tiny bit bigger in the bust than I would have liked and basically never happens to me. Other than the little bit of side boob every once and a while, I felt fantastic in it all night.

This dress was AMAZING! After a little shipping scare, RTR overnighted this dress to me to Hawaii, so major props for that! The dress was perfect! It matched my husband's blues really well. I wouldn't consider a "show stopper" or something that grabs attention but I LOVED IT. I was going for a more sophisticated look for this particular ball! The fabric was awesome and fit to my body well, it is pretty heavy which helped with the good fit as well. I would highly recommend this dress if you're looking for a classy, sophisticated dress. It's truly beautiful in person. Im 5'10 1/2 and the long length was perfect for my flats. I wore the 8 because I didn't quite fill up the 10 in the bust area. Beautiful neckline! 10/10

This was sent as a back up as the original dress wasn't available in one of my sizes. I wasn't crazy about the picture but I really liked it once I had it on. I didn't end up wearing it to the event but I will say it fit really nice! I have been a consistent 4 for many years and the 4L was perfect in fit and length. I am not wearing any shoes in the picture and you can see the dress is laying on the floor.

This wasn't the dress I originally ordered, I made a mistake on the dates and luckily the awesome customer service helped me find a dress the day before and overnighted it to me. I wasn't crazy about the picture, but it was the only option. When I got it, it fit great and felt good on. I wore the 8L, I'm closer to 5'9 and it was form fitting, but not uncomfortable. Overall, very happy. It was floor length when I had 3 inch heels on. Everyone loved it and I would definitely recommend this!

This dress came as my backup dress. The dress is very stretchy, but it turned out to be way to small for my pear shaped body. My best friend ended up wearing it to the wedding (pictured). She is normally a size 4, however this fit her very nicely (it was only a tad bit loose).

This. dress. is. amazing. It is SO comfortable and so elegant. It fits like a glove and honestly couldn't have hugged my body in a way that is more flattering. The color near the shoulders is much bolder in person, which I love. Also, I'm 5'8 so I ordered the long since I wore 4" heels with the dress. The L was almost too long, but the R would've definitely been too short so I'm glad I went with the L. Overall, I would recommend this dress 110%. It was absolutely perfect.

I have never used RTR before and was little skeptical that I would find a designer dress to fit my body type since there were no reviews for me to see real life pictures. But I did and this dress was so comfortable! I fell in love with this dress as soon as I tried it on. It's a little stretchy and fit me perfectly! I wore 4 inch heels and it hovered over my toes just enough that i wasn't tripping on it all night. I am 5'9. I received so many compliments on this dress! I wore it with a strapless full coverage bra as I am a 38DD/Athletic build and Spanx just to smooth out the curves. It was beautiful and it moved along with you perfectly, especially since we danced all night! I would for sure recommend this dress and may rent it again in the future!

Dress was true to size and has some give to the dress. The material was excellent and I felt wonderful. I ordered the size 4 and 6 because this was my first experience with RTR but I will say the 4 (what I normally wear) was the correct size for me. Returning the dress was even easier, I highly recommend this site to anyone and everyone

This dress was not my first choice. I ordered my dream dress only to have it not fit upon arrival. I called and RTR overnighted me this one. I wasn't sure about the blue accents and there were no reviews for me to see real life pictures. I was blown away with this dress when I get it. It's a little stretchy and fit me perfectly! I wore 4 inch heels and it was still long enough (I'm 5'8") I have never received so many compliments on any other dress I've rented than I did with this dress. Ordered both 6L and 8L. Tried the 6L and it fit perfectly! (Never took the other out of the plastic.) Usually worry about the length of formal gowns b/c I'm 6', but this dress was the perfect length with my low kitten heels. Use RTR often!

Fit great, absolutely loved the pop of color! Only complaint was that it was a little long even with 4 inch heels (I'm 5'4)

I recommend getting your backup dress in a size down because depending on how you like your dress to fit your usual size might not be snug enough. I got it in petite and the dress was still kind of long so defiantly wear heels with it.

Wore this to a banquet. It was very comfortable and received many complements.

Length was perfect for my quite tall height in 1.5" heels. Nice drape of fabric, simple color scheme, easy to pair accessories.

This dress fit really well! I am very tall (almost 6ft), and the original shoes I had planned to wear with this were a little too tall. I ended up wearing some 2 inch wedges, and it worked out well. I also have a larger chest and was able to comfortably wear a strapless bra in this dress. My only regret is that I don't have a full length photo of me in the dress at the wedding to share, just this one while I was trying it on!

I did not wear this dress and this photo was my "try on photo". I am a consistent 6 and this dress fit like a glove. It is indeed a fitted dress and hit my curves in all the right places. I liked it, but liked a different RTR dress that was a bit more elegant for my venue better, and wore that instead. You will need a strapless bra for this dress.

I loved the dress, fit great, nice material, however, very long. I am 5'1" and there was no petite available, my stylist in store assured me that the regular would be fine with heals. I wore 4 1/2" heals and still had to tape up 4 inches of material. I would not recommend this designer in regular length for anyone under 5'4". Other than the length, I felt great in the dress and received many compliments.

The long was perfect for my height. I could wear 3-inch heels too!

this dress is fantastic - hangs beautifully, makes you look fantastic, and doesn't show any lumps or bumps :) I am 5'3" and wore the 4R with 4" heels, and it was great....when I was standing still. I thought it was about 2-3" too long when I had to walk. but the dress looked great, made me feel great, and even in a crowd of black dresses, I still felt like I stood out for the right reasons :) loved it!

Wore this to a charity auction for my husband's work. Received several compliments on the dress. The regular was slightly long for me with 2.5 inch heels- A few people stepped on the slight train during the crowded silent auction. I liked being able to wear a strapless bra with this dress, and the slightly thicker fabric was great in a chilly ballroom. I liked the overall fit of this dress enough that I may try to buy a new one to own!
