I got this for my husband's Christmas party and it was perfect! The bronze sequins were nice and understated with just the right amount of sparkle. I was seven months pregnant at the time and this dress fit like a dream! The length was also great, coming just to my knees, which was perfect for an office party. I highly recommend this dress if you're looking for something bump friendly!

I am 4.5 months pregnant so sought out a bump-friendly dress. This one was perfect! I did have to go a size up (L instead of a M) due to a combination of my height and the baby bump so the dress was a little large on top -- but I was able to wear a normal strapless bra without issue.

Fit well, material is very forgiving and flattering, hides bra lines, etc. gathering across torso and tummy was perfect for my small 15.5 week baby bump. Would have worn the S if I hadn't been pregnant. Mm

great for apple shape, I had some tummy/hip issues to hide and it did so without being a circus tent. It fits like a roomy 12, so perhaps size down if you're between sizes.

Overall I loved this dress! There were a couple of small things that kept it from being perfect, but even so I would rent it again in a heartbeat. It was a bit longer than I expected. I'm 6' tall and in the picture I've attached you can see that the dress is right at the top of my knee, not a couple of inches above as it appears on the model. I'm used to dresses being shorter on me than they appear on the model. I can't imagine how a woman of average height would wear this! I wore the dress exactly as the model did, with sheer black hose and a black closed-toes pump. My hose were TORN UP halfway through the night from the sequins brushing against my knees. By the end of the night there were actual holes in the hose. Went from chic to bag lady in a few hours, but by then the party was in full swing and nobody noticed but me. If I rent this again it will be in summer and I'll skip the hose. As reported in other reviews it's darker than it appears in the photo and that is a plus. It's a great, rich, black coffee color that really adds to the elegance. I also wish it had a little more shape to it, but it's called a "sack dress" for heaven's sake. What the heck did I expect?!

The XS fit great, and I am 5'6, 110 lbs. When I wore this dress, I was 5 months pregnant with baby #2. The other reviewers were spot on with sizing info! The dress looked amazing, had plenty of room for my baby bump, and I got tons of compliments!

Fits very well. Am 5'8" and size 6 usually. The under slip is a bit tight but did not affect the overall fit. The M would have been much too big and too long.

I wore this dress to a wedding and received lots of compliments. It was very fun and sparkly! As far as sizing goes, I agree with another reviewer that the lining of the dress seems small, and I felt like the medium lining kept bunching up. (I usually wear size 8 or 10 in jeans and mediums in shirts). I ended up wearing the large, which was pretty loose, but with the style of the dress it worked fine, and was great for dancing. I'd rent this dress again in a heartbeat, except I'm too excited to try others from Rent the Runway!

Love, love, love, this dress! The fit was perfect. The color of the dress has more of a copper undertone which goes great with women with lighter, peachy skin tones. Found that dark silver jewelry works way better than gold with this dress. For a girl who has a hard time finding colors that work with her ,unable to tan, skin tone, this worked great! PS-The sequins on this dress create shadows that are really flattering.

I ordered this dress for an evening wedding and it was just right for the event! The dress gave just the right amount of POP to get a lot of compliments and the color was stunning - Bronze beauty! I paired it with a wavy updo to show off the shoulder and great earrings and I liked that it looked a little Grecian! For the fit: the dress was more loose throughout the middle and did become tighter around my hips (which I didn't mind-it was not an uncomfortable fit). After reading some of the reviews, I was worried about the length being too long for shorter girls, but the dress ended up hitting right above my knee so I had no complaints. Usually, I like to wear dresses that accentuate my waist (I have an hourglass figure) and curves, but this dress was just what I wanted for the evening. I didn't want to have to worry about sucking in all night and I just wasn't in the mood for Spanx, so this dress really did the trick! It looked amazing:) I loved my order!

I wore this dress to a wedding about 4 weeks after giving birth. I had no idea if this dress was going to work for me as I still had a lot of pregnancy weight, mostly in my hips and abdomen. It is very forgiving and had a lot of flow, so it was absolutely perfect for hiding my trouble areas but still looked very elegant. I was so happy to find a dress that I could feel good in, even though i wasn't feeling my best :-)

I wore this dress for a New Year's Eve party, and it was perfect. The sparkle was fun, but the color and cut made it really refined and elegant. It's not a dress to wear if you want people to check out your every curve--it's ladylike and sophisticated. I disagree with the reviewer who said it would look weird belted--if I had had a gold or brown belt that would have worked with it, I would have belted it and I think it would have looked great. As far as fit goes, I'm definitely a pear shape, so as other reviewers have mentioned, the small was good on top but way too tight in the hips. I wore the medium instead--the hips were perfect, but the top was a bit large. I wore a padded bra and it was no problem. It's probably a dream of a dress for someone who is more apple-shaped. I would rent it again!

I really can't say whether this runs true to size or not. The medium wasn't available for comparison. Dress didn't cling to my hips which was good but it did gap in the armpits which is why I didn't wear it. But it would be beautiful on someone else.

I wore this dress for New Year's Eve this year. I loved it and received so many compliments on this dress. As others have stated, the lining does run smaller and I had to use my back up size with double sided tape. But it worked out just fine.

Loved this dress.. Wore it for a cocktail party and it was really fun! Only a small issue.. I'm a size 8, I wore the medium.. The top was a bit too big around the arm holes. The smaller size would have fit my upper body better.. but not my hips. :) Also it's a bit long.. if you're 5'8 it would be perfect! Still really enjoyed it!

This dress was so much fun! The only problem that I faced was that the lining was tighter than the rest of the dress, but it ended up working out fine. I got a ton of compliments on it, and one person even said I looked like a celebrity.

It's a great dress on the hanger. It fit loosly on me so I didn't wear it, it was snug for my around the hips.

The only complaint I had was that the lining of the dress was ripped when I went to put it on. A very beautiful dress!

I received the small and medium...The small was too big, therefore I didn't even try the medium. It is a gorgeous dress though.

This is a beautiful dress, but does not show your shape at all. It hangs on the body and almost screams to be belted. I tried belting it, and it looked akward. The sequins and color are goregous, but be warned that it is not form-fitting. I ended up wearing my back-up plan.

This is a spectacular dress that, unfortunately, I could not wear for several reasons: (1)I ordered a Medium and needed to take in an inch on the top while the lining in the bottom was tight. For curvy women, I would think twice about this dress because of that tight lining. (2) if you are 5', the dress fits at the knee or lower so, be wary of that as well. I appreciated being able to return the dress quickly.

I generally am an XS, but have athletic thighs, which I could not fit into the very tight, not-stretchy lining on the XS. The S was a little gappy, and needed to be worn by someone 5'8"+. It just was not nearly as flattering as it looked in the picture when the hem hit my knees. I ended up pinning the bottom hem up by 6", and I really liked how it looked once it was shorter and hit a few inches above my knees. Anyways, I'd say steer clear unless you are taller.

I ordered this dress one size up (not believing that it really ran true to size) and it was huge on me. I probably should have ordered one size down! The sequins are beautiful and it is very forgiving - you could dance, eat and drink all night while being comfortable! I would have worn it if it fit but I was swimming in it. Too bad.

I felt like this dress was a little too baggy and I love a good shift dress so that says a lot. Maybe I should've ordered a size down.

I was very concerned about this dress since most reviews say that it is tight across the hip. I am a size 6(I had even tried on a few dresses by Badgley Mischka and David Meister before I ordered to make sure they would fit), with a 34 DD chest, and a proportionate bottom half. I rented the small and it swallowed me. It was big all over. The color was a little darker than the picture but beautiful. This dress is not flattering on a hourglass figure, but I bet it would be great on someone with more of an apple shape.

Great dress -- very forgiving as it has a nice drape. Was a bit darker (looks more like black coffee than copper) than I expected bit brown did shimmer. Good for tall girls as not super short.

I wore this to a work fundraiser - perfect! It is conservative but fun. Great color. There were a few strings but it was still in good condition.

EVERYONE commented on it..Absolutely gorgeous, HOWEVER..The inside slip is somewhat smaller then the outside dress..It was so tight across my hips , I split a seam walking up the stairs..Thank goodness for the insurance! It was a bit longer on me then pictured..I am 5'6" and it came to JUST above my knees..Drop dead gorgeous dress!

Things for me need to be age appropraite and this was perfect. It fit very well and shieled spots that I like to hide. the knee length was perfect for me. Everyone commented on how much they like the dress
