This dress is a dream. It's very fitted so it won't move. I dance die hours without needing to adjust. The color is stunning. I got so many compliments and felt like a princess.

I wore this for my prom and it made me feel like a queen all night. The purple color really worked well and stood out as lot of people didnt wear this color! Additinally, it's very easy to dance in and looks bomb in photos.

The color is a gorgeous cool-purple and the fit is amazing! I got compliments all night! I am 120lbs, 5'2" tall, 32b, 25" waist, 36" hips and the 2P fit perfectly with heels! Style is very forgiving around the stomach, too!

The dress ran a little small but i am 5'3 and it was the perfect length.

This dress runs small. I normally wear a 10, but the 12 fit like a glove and hugs your curves in all the right ways. The fabric is high quality and the draping perfection. I ended up not wearing it because my first choice was even more beautiful, but I will definitely keep it in mind for another occasion.

I’m 125 lbs and 5’4. I was worried the 4 would be too small but it fit perfectly. I got many compliments all night. I wore 4 inch heels and it was still a bit long but I could walk it I picked up the skirt slightly.

Ordered the 0R and 2R as a replacement for a different dress. I'm usually somewhere between a 0 and a 2 - as many have noted this dress is probably best for someone with a straighter body type! Went with the 2 as it was much easier to fit over my hips, but found that I was pulling it up here and there throughout the night. All that said, the dress was GORGEOUS! Got so many compliments. And the regular length wasn't as long as I thought it would be - wore 4 inch heels and was fine!

I worn this for a formal Christmas Ball. It was perfect. I'm 5'2", usually wear a size 2 maybe 4. It was a little tight in the hips, but perfect length, top fit great and shape was wonderful. I would have rented a size up next time.

This was a backup dress for a gala that I didn't end up wearing. The color and flare are stunning but the overall fit for me was strange. The bust was rather small even though I had ordered up a size. It seemed like there was more room between the waist and bust, then the ladies were squished at the very top. I think this dress would be best for a smaller bust.

Very beautiful dress overall. It looks purple in some lighting, blue in others. The silhouette is gorgeous. I'm usually between a 0-2P, and the 2P fit just right. The length with heels on I'm sure was the perfect length. However, mermaid cut just isn't for me. I was planning to be in wedding photos and walking and dancing all day, so I opted to wear a different style dress that was easier to move in.

I usually wear a 2-4 and the 4 petite fit perfect (the length was perfect even with 4 inch heels). It was a bit big in the bust (most things are on me I’m a 34b), but a strapless bra took care of that. I didn’t have any trouble dancing, sitting, or going to the bathroom in it, despite it being a fitted dress. It’s also very flattering for a form-fitting dress. I did steam it a couple of hours before I wore it, and it looked awesome. I very much recommend this dress!

I am about 5’5”, 137lbs, athletic build. I wore 3” heals with a size 8 regular dress and it worked well. Taller shoes can work too. I typically wear a size 4 or 6 but this dress just runs small and the 8 was snug and fit great!!

With 3 inch heels this dress brushed the floor perfectly. Beautiful rich color. A little difficult to zip up, but once zipper was up it fit great in the bust and waist. Very elegant and eye-catching! So pleased.

Beautiful dress! The draping and mermaid style make it very flattering. It was perfect for a formal gala. A little long (expected with this mermaid style), so be sure to get a petite size if you're short like me.

Color is incredible and fit was perfect for me. No bra needed. Would not work well for a larger bust. Dress was a stand out in a sea of black as my gala. I was an honored guest and on stage and it looked wonderful. Photographed well.

Loved this dress. True, no stretch. I read the reviews and was thankful that the 6 fit. I'm a mom, wear my weight in the middle, 5'3"+, 125 and 34dd. The fit was snug, but secure. I wore a corset bra underneath and a 3" heel and danced all night. Loved the color, shape, style.

The color is gorgeous!! It fits TTS. I am between an A and a B cup, and the top was a little big, but between the boning and a push--up bra, I was fine. Also, the long was perfect for me with 4" heels. I got TONS of compliments all night!!

This dress is excellent for hourglass figures and hides trouble spots (tummy or hips that may have grown a bit over the holidays - don't judge). I wore this to a military formal event (ball) and received compliments throughout the evening. I am 5'6", 145 lbs, C cup, and hourglass figure. All evening, I was able to move about freely, sit comfortably, dance, and all. The only thing to pay attention to is the slight train... I wore flat shoes due to a combat injury (the dress was still a great length) but the train will get stepped on.

The cut was great. I usually wear a long, but it wasn't available. I wore 3" heels and the regular was perfect length. I would definitely rent this one again. The color was gorgeous. So many compliments all evening.

The color of this dress is beautiful and vibrant!! I received so many compliments on it! It does run a little snug so I would size up from what you normally wear. It also hides the mommy pooch in front and I didn't wear Spanx! It also hugged my curves and I felt sexy but classy! With the mermaid style you do have limited movement but all you have to do is hike it up and you're in business and people kept stepping on it!! I loved this dress and I hate to send it back!! I would definitely rent this again! I stood out in a sea of sequins too!!!

I attached a few photos that demonstrate how NOT purple the dress is. It is a royal blue that appears purpley in some lights. I got it to wear with my mask, which has a large range of purples, but the dress was too blue. Ultimately it didn't matter because I looked incredible. The dress is well-made and glamorous. The exterior material is thick and it has a light liner. I have small boobs but I had no issues keeping the dress up. My alternate size had wires sticking out, so do check for that when you receive the dress; it would have been unwearable due to the constant pricking. The 2R was a little long on me (5'3") with 3" heels, but the back was designed to be a little longer. My hips and legs are my largest body parts so I usually put dresses over my head, but the liner wasn't cooperating (kept riding up, folding over) so I was very grateful that the zipper went very low, making it easy to step into it, even with larger hips.

Badgley Mischka is consistent. I can order these dresses without any hesitation. I didn't have to wear spank or a bra. I will say that I used "chicken cutlet" inserts to fill the top a bit, as it shifted slightly in the bust, but not uncomfortably. The 4L actually fit better in the body, but was way too tight for my 34D bust. The 6L still worked well and I was able to sit, eat, breathe, dance, etc.

Hands down my favorite RTR yet! Amazing fit and vibrant color. I'm 5'7" and wore the 2L with 4" heels. Wouldn't have changed a thing!

The bust fits tight, even if you're flat-chested, and the wiring helps keep it up but can poke you. The styling around the tummy is very forgiving. I wore four-inch heels.

I rented this for the VFW Post 1 Founders Dinner in December. It was actually a backup when my original didn't ship in time. And I'm SOOO happy that I got this one! This gown made me feel like royalty, and it got SO many compliments! It was sexy enough with the hip-hugging curves, yet classy -- perfect for a formal, somewhat conservative event. It comfortable enough to dance in. I was going to wear spanks, but ended up not needed them since the fabric around the middle covers up enough that it's not too revealing. Went perfectly with a Nocturne necklace. Great dress!!! Would totally rent again.

Dress was one size small - generally a 4 or 6, but comfortably wore the 8L. I'm 5'4" and wore 4" heels so I thought renting the long would be sufficient given the dimensions. The dress was slightly long so the regular would have been perfect. In a sea of dresses for the black tie affair, this was one of a kind!
