5 foot 5, 130lbs and got a 6R - usually I’m a 4 but 6 fit perfect. Gorgeous dress!!!!

Dress fit nicely in hips, but too big across chest. (I'm pear-shaped) Had to gather fabric and safety pin it a few times under arms to keep it from falling down.

I rented for a Mardi Gras Gala and got complemented all night in this dress! It was comfortable and the fabric was good quality. It was stretchy enough to move with me and not cling in an unflattering way. Loved it!

Loved the fit. Its true to size for me. It was like a mermaid dress honestly!

First of all... the color is just gorgeous. So sparkley!!! I received so many compliments all night. RTR did not have my 2P available to send so they sent 0R as back up. It fit well, I am petite but wore about 5 inch heels and the slit helped me walk with ease. The only complaint I have, the sequence got caught in between my nails when I would hold up my dress to walk up and down the stairs.. ouch!!! But albsolutely loved the dress and so easy to dance in and very comfortable!

Perfect fit and able to hide problematic area. Got tons of complements at a fancy gala at Mar A Lago...

The fit/length was perfect!

I rented this for a formal affair and it was perfect for the event. The dress was so comfortable (felt a little heavy but in a good way) and I didn't need to adjust it at all. The color was a beautiful emerald that was perfect for the Mardi Gras themed party. One thing to note: the slit was a little high for my liking. It fell about 6" above my knee which showed a little more leg than I would have wanted to, but no one else seemed to notice/think it was too revealing. Definitely would recommend!!

This dress was PERFECT for the wedding my husband and I went to at the Cruz Building in Coral Gables (Gatsby-esque decor)- we received a lot of compliments. I was scared that the sequins would bother my arms but no such issue came up! Additionally, the length was perfect for heels and for when I (inevitably) ditched the heels! I haven't gotten rid of my C-section shelf (or the extra 50 pounds) so I wanted a dress that would hide all of my 'sins'- this did the trick!

This dress felt AMAZING to wear. I'm a big fan of all that shimmers and this dress did not disappoint! The leg slit allowed me to walk in the dress a lot easier than other gowns I've worn. I'm on the shorter side of height (5'3") and was wearing pretty high heels. The 2R still dragged on the floor but I really loved it that way. Just pick up the dress a little when you strut around! Definitely recommend.

This dress was comfortable and very forgiving of all of my curves.

I wore this for my sister's fall wedding in the middle of the pandemic. I can't tell you how many "WOWs" I got! So much fun to wear!

This is beautiful and while it looks fitted on, it actually allows for quite a bit of room. The smaller size I ordered as a backup wasn't available last minute, so it's possible one size down may have been more fitted. This dress creates a really nice hour glass shape. It's very formal, stand out, and glamorous. I got many compliments. The sequins do not rub under your arms so it's comfy to dance in. I'm 5'4", wore 4 inch heels, and the dress grazed the floor - so note it's on the long side.

This dress was form fitting and comfortable. Highly recommend for formal events such as black tie wedding.

The dress fit really well - true to size, and it was shockingly comfortable! The material had some nice stretch allowing me to dance and get into the dress without any issues. Because it is made from sequins, it could irritate your arms if you rub against it - but totally worth it for a night out.

The gown was very comfortable. The fit was great for my curves. Lots of complements for this very sexy dramatic evening look.

A little itchy under the arm and a tad heavy, but it was perfect for the Wizard of Oz theme!

I felt like a million dollars in this dress and it was the hit of the party (black tie). It SO comfortable and very generous fabric with lots of stretch (I actually think you can wear this while pregnant, there was like extra fabric room/stretch across the front waist). I got a ton of compliments! I wore a boned corset under it for the best silhouette. I'm 5,3" and wore 3 in heels and that was plenty so I didn't trip over the hem. That slit is so sexy, just the right amount of va-va-va-voom!

The dress was very comfortable. It fit like a nice hug. The slit was pretty high so when sitting be careful but overall I got many compliments on it! I got the tall because regular wasn’t in stock so when I went shoes off it was a bit long.

This dress hugs you in all the right places. It's super comfortable and flattering with the slit and one shoulder. The dress came in almost a week early so I had plenty of time to make sure it worked. I'm 5'6 and wore 3" heels and the 12L was a little short but still looked great! Highly recommend this dress.

Fit is prefect as is length for someone who is a bit shorter (5'2). Very comfortable and flattering around the waist.

Beautiful dress and I received compliments all night! I am only 5'1 so I wore a platform strappy heel to give me some extra height. Accented with gold jewelry! Loved it!

Overall fit well. I don't have wide hips so the dress puckered a little where I didn't fill it out. Couldn't have gone a size smaller, I had 8 and 6 on hand.

Dress is comfortable and easy to move in. The sequins stayed on the dress and didn’t fall off. I got many compliments throughout the evening.

I'm 5'10", 175lbs, 36D and the 12L fit like they made it especially with me in mind. Perfect for our occasion, comfortable and tons of compliments. The dress even came a few days early so I had plenty of time to make sure it would work for the event. Overall, I'd do this again in heartbeat. Super easy and I got to wear a dress there's no way I'd afford otherwise. Highly recommended.

This dress was amazing. I wore it to a masquerade party, and I got so many compliments. I am 5' 9", and I am in good shape, but because I do Crossfit, my shoulders are sometimes too big for dresses that are my size (4 or 6). This dress was tight in the shoulders, but it fit well. Also, I totally recommend long if you're tall and wearing heels. This dress was the perfect length for me because it still skimmed the ground in heels. I felt glamorous, like I could stand tall all night.

Amazing dress

I rented a 0P and this is definitely the best fitting dress I've rented from Rent the Runway. I am 4'11, 105 lbs, 32A, and pear-shaped, and quite often the dresses are huge on me. This one fit almost perfectly, and I loved that it was stretchy and not too tight, which made it very comfortable and gave me room to dance and eat a meal. If I owned this dress I would probably have it taken in just slightly in the torso/bust but for a one-time rental it wasn't that noticeable. I should note that the 0P was almost a touch short for me with the 3-1/2" heels I was wearing, and I'm just under 5' tall! If you are any taller than me and want to wear heels I would recommend not going with the petite length.

Ran a little short in the front but made it work with the long slit. Dress was slightly stretchy and was easy to dance the night away in.

I usually wear a petite, but there were none available for my date and it was a touch long but workable with heels. Also, I usually wear a 12, which was also not available but the 14 fit fine except a bit large around the top so I had to pin it. Overall a great dress for my event.

I received several compliments on this dress. It runs true to size. I am 5' 10" and chose 14 L. The length was just perfect. The color was a nice emerald green.

A little tight through the one shoulder but I have exceptionally broad shoulders. Length for the 10R was pretty long even with heels but I expected that. Perfectly shaped for curves and completely comfortable.

I wore this for a Gatsby-themed formal party and did not want to send the dress back when it was over! I wore the size 4R and it fit like a glove (I ordered the 6R but didn't even bother trying it on). The length was fine (I'm 5'3 and wore 3.5" heels) but it did drag a little bit on the floor--just something to be aware of for the fellow shorties. Don't be afraid of the green--it's a deep emerald color, not gaudy at all and fairly muted in person. I got tons of compliments all night and felt super glam. Definitely a winner!

I loved the beautiful green color, and the sequins really made me stand out! The dress is stretchy and form-fitting in a good way and is flattering whether you have a lot of curves or not! I could probably have sized down; even the petite was longer than I prefer. I wore 3" heels, and the skirt still dragged on the floor. The slit also wasn't positioned well since I had to keep picking up the skirt so I wouldn't trip.
