Great fit! The chest was a little big but with sticky bra inserts, it was perfect! I wore 2 in heels so the bottom of the dress for this size (6L) was right at the floor. I didn't have to worry about tripping. I received numerous compliments on this dress throughout the day & evening. My first RTR dress! This experience made me want to rent again and definitely recommend to my friends & family to try!

This was just as beautiful on as in the pictures but the sizing is tough. I usually wear an 8 but the only size available was a 12R. It was way to long so I got really high shoes. The band in the middle was snug on the 12 but the top was then a bit big. Even with all those little issues, I would still rent it again. Felt like a million bucks. The zipper sticks when it gets to the band so I had to spin it in the front and stand on the lining with my foot to get it past the band. LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress.

It fit true to size. Was absolutely beautiful. Handled the dance floor well at the reception. I felt like a masterpiece.

This dress runs small. I am an 8/10 and the 12 fit like a glove. I was glad I went up to a 12 after reading reviews. I am 5'11" and the long size dress just brushed the floor with a flat sandal. The back of this dress is stunning. A bra is not needed but I have a full chest so I wore am adhesive bra for a nice lift and it was perfect.

This dress fit amazing and was so pretty. I wore a 10L, a nubra for coverage and no spanx! I probably could have worn the 8L, but after cocktails and a full night of eating....well.... I was so comfortable and felt so amazing. Countless comments. After a snow storm delay and rerouting several dress across the country to LA overnight, RTR pulled through.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I got so many compliments the entire night! I say it runs on the small side only because i normally wear a small or size 4 in most things. The waistband is well made, but has no stretch to it at all. I managed to wear the size 4 without any issue, but i would have been more comfy in the 6. It was also pretty long, i would need to rent the short in it next time, i am 5'3" and even had on heels. This was a perfect gown at a black tie wedding.

This dress is very beautiful and fit my style perfectly. I gravitate towards classic, elegant, old Hollywood styles and I felt it matched all that criteria and added in the WOW factor with the gorgeous back. Pros: -I have an hourglass figure and a small waist. I found that the dress highlighted my curves in the right places. I didn't have a problem with the waistband being too tight but I know it was mentioned in many other reviews, so I would encourage you to get your true size and one size up just in case. -I'm 34DDD, I found that the dress wasn't as snug on top as I expected but I could've gotten away without a bra if I wanted to. I used a little taping and was fine the whole night. - The dress felt heavy but I had no issues with how it felt on. It was breathable, the material hides any tummy/cellulite/etc that you may have! No spanx required! I never felt the need to pull up the top or fiddle with the dress, it's such quality. - Some other reviews mentioned the sides being cut low, I didn't take issue with it because the front is so modest. Nothing was hanging out but be sure to try on the dress with the bra you intend to purchase or before taping because the cut isn't "standard" halter top. -I'm 5'8 and wore 2" heels, I ordered 10R. The length was perfect! Cons: -Having to take it off and return it.

I am under 120 pounds with an athletic build and normally wear a 0. I am 5'4". I ordered the 2P, and it was the right choice. The dress was tight on the upper body - I don't think a 0 would have fit me comfortably. I had roughly 3" heels on and the dress was still a tad too long. Gorgeous dress!

I wound up wearing my backup size for this as the waistband on the 8R was a bit too snug to be comfortable all night. That said, the 10R was beyond comfortable and the back of the dress was gorgeous. Due to the back, it wasn't possible to wear a bra but since I'm small chested, I just went without. This dress was so much fun to dance in and had a great swirl when spinning :) Easy to throw a black scarf over for wedding ceremony. I paired with simple diamond studs and black heels. Would definitely recommend!

i had my eye on this dress for a while and thought it would be too 'blah' - i was way wrong, this was absolutely gorgeous! i'm so glad i went with it. i fit into the 6p and it fit well until i tried to zip it the rest of the way up- i would recommend your backup size being a size up just in case. the zipper was tight for me but only around the middle of the back, eventually i got it to zip and it was fine. fabric at the bottom is heavy so it hangs well, and the length was perfect for me in petite. it's elegant, gorgeous, and funky in the back which i loved. i also appreciated the high neck, not too revealing. i wore the "super strapless adhesive" bra, found at target. i would not recommend this for a summer wedding because it's so heavy, but it was perfect for my event- a black tie evening wedding in march. i'd highly recommend this dress & rtr! paired it with fun, funky gold beaded earrings from rocks box.

Amazing dress. One of my favorites from RTRR. The back really makes the dress unforgettable. I'm also a 32D and didn't need to wear a bra with the dress which is always a definite plus. Fit perfectly. Zipper is hard to do but I've found that is the case in most of these dresses.

I am 5'9" and rented the 2R and 2L. As a somewhat tall individual I wore 1.5" heels. The 2R was perfect. The long size is very long (like 4 inches past my toes) and I do not own shoes that would have corrected the length for that much material. I was a bridesmaide in my best friends wedding and can not wait for pictures showing the back of the dress. My only comment would be that if you are small busted, be prepared for some indents in the fabric around the bust. I am small with a 32D and the dress fit perfectly.

Open back, so consider strapless bra options or none at all.

Was thrilled to get this dress as an upgrade when my initial option wasn't available. Went with the long after reading reviews, and I'm so glad I did - ended up being the perfect length for me (I'm 5'10"). The fit is true to size and I thought the empire waist was extremely flattering. The beading on the skirt is so beautiful, although it does make the dress a bit heavy - but I didn't really see that as a con. The back of the dress is gorgeous and that's definitely what received the most compliments at the event. Truly a special dress!

This dress was so gorgeous! The zipper was difficult - it gets stuck in the center, but other than that I have no complaints. I got tons of compliments and felt like a million bucks in it. I've rented from RTR before and wore a 6L. I didn't need a long in this dress. The 6R was plenty long even with heels on.

Fit was slightly snug in the lower rib cage but I made it work with the larger size. Compliments all night and after posting pics! Felt glamorous and elegant. Beautiful black color and material. Great back!

This dress felt SO good on. It is definitely heavy ... but I didn't feel restricted in my movement at all. I received so many compliments and felt like a million bucks in it. I could have worn the 10R, but chose the 12R to give myself a little extra room at the waistline.

I felt like this dress was overall, pretty darn amazing. I ordered the 10L and the 12L. I ended up wearing the 10L due my small bust and thin upper body frame. The waist band was snug (there is no give at all), but was not uncomfortable. The 12L was not snug and overall more comfortable, but the bust area was too large and I had gap openings under my arms, you could tell the dress was big on me, and didn't have a tailored look on my upper half. The 10L didn't touch the floor with my 2" heels like the 12L did, but it made for walking around easier. I still had to pick up the dress going up and down staircases. I was stopped numerous times regarding the detail of the dress and how beautiful the back of it was. The day of the wedding, SF had a record breaking heat wave of 106*, and I was able to wear this dress comfortably without getting overheated. If you are looking at this dress, please rent it, it is beautiful in the pictures but even more beautiful in person.

Yes BLACK…my ain’t made a beautiful lace blouse for the wedding, but it came off for the reception. Fit perfect, comfortable, no bra needed! Loved it for my special day.

Loved this dress, fitted on top with a beautiful skirt with lace overlay. Perfect for a black tie wedding as the lace adds some spice. The back is very pretty too! Length was perfect for me with heels, I’m 5’5”.

Beautiful dress that pictures will not do justice. I am 62, athletically built. The dress accentuated my upper body. The bodice is form fitting so if you have any extra skin, it will be noticeable through the bodice and side cut-outs. I wore booby tape so not to take away from the back with any kind of strap showing. Very comfortable as well. My only complaint would be the length. I am 5’3 and wore 3” heels and it still dragged if not held. I would wear it again for sure.

I got a 6P because that’s all that was available, but it worked! I wore a smaller heel to get the length how I wanted it. This gapped just a bit at the arm pits, but I never felt at risk that anything would be exposed. This probably wouldn’t happen with a fuller bust. This was perfect for our black tie event. Formal enough but not too over the top.

This dress was so beautiful. It has weight to it but is designed for a chest & made me look thinner because of the design. I worn a racer back bra.

Wore for formal wedding. RTR didn’t have my size so went up and it was fine. The only thing I noticed about going up was a little gaping under arm but it didn’t take away from the look at all. The fabric at top it thick enough so no bra (couldn’t wear one away) but no adhesive bra needed either. The embroidery on the skirt is GORGEOUS and the back is so very flattering. I was told by friend I was just as gorgeous coming as I was going. For all the rentals I’ve had this one got the most attention. I was stopped so many times I lost track. Wore a 2 inch heel and it was perfect.

I absolutely adore this dress. It's such a showstopper and perfect for any formal occasion. I wanted to feel and look especially nice while on my honeymoon cruise and this dress did the trick!
