Perfect dress for a holiday work party. I received many compliments and it was easy to wear and dance in. The cut out back does require a backless or low back bra. The sequins did not scratch my arms and I am considering buying this one.

This was actually a backup dress I ordered after my first dress didn't work out. I rented it for a formal museum gala event that I was working (not attending), so I knew I wanted to feel pretty and also be comfortable all night. This dress did not disappoint! It came in great shape and looked exactly as pictured - a deep yet vivid olive green and very sparkly! Both dresses fit but the 6 (my usual size) fit more comfortably than my backup size (4). It can be a bit hard to zip up the back by yourself, so another pair of hands is helpful. The length was great (right at the knees), the overall fit was great (not too tight in the stomach, arms or chest) and I was very comfortable all night long. I wore an adhesive bra due to the open back, but that was easy and it worked great. Got lots of compliments, which felt great too!

The dress was a perfect mix of comfortable and fun, yet fancy enough for a cocktail attire affair. I liked the key hole cut out in the back, but unfortunately it was a bit too low and I couldn't wear a normal bra with it, so that was a bit tricky finding an alternative, but because of the high neckline, I was able to work it out. I got a lot of compliments!

I wore this event for the "Emerald Ball" for one of our local colleges. The color was perfect. I loved the fit and received so many compliments. Like many others have mentioned, the waist was forgiving and hid the Covid weight gain. :) Other mentioned the sequins scratching under their arms but I did not have a problem. I loved the open back as well. The length was just right. THis was my first experience with Rent the Runway. Everything was so easy and I look forward to renting again!

I am so glad I ordered the 4 as my backup size because that’s what I wore. The green is stunning and I got so many compliments! In some of the other reviews I read that the sequins rubbed under the arms, but since I was painting and my arms were up, it didn’t bother me.

I am 14 in street clothes but the 14w fit best around the waist. It came almost to my knees. The color and sequins are beautiful. I will rent again, especially as I didn't get to actual wear it to my event which was cancelled due to covid-19!

This dress was absolutely amazing. It fit like a glove true to size. (I was worried it would be too small and got my backup size a size up but both looked great on!) The color is absolutely fabulous and got so many compliments at formal. It was so comfortable to wear all night long and was great to dance in! I was slightly worried that the sparkly-ness might be a bit "much" but the darker color really makes the dress unique and not quite as loud as it might seem. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone!

I LOVED this dress. I wore it for NYE in Vegas. I got a number of compliments. I really liked the darker green and the swirl designs. The dress is on the heavier side but wasnt an issue. The only compliant I have is that the zipper was a REAL pain.

I was looking for a dress for a wedding and found this one. I looked at the reviews and noticed that it was very flattering in every size so I decided to try it out. I'm so glad I did! I received so many compliments from friends and strangers and I felt like a princess all night.

This dress was a back up after my first choice RTR arrived ripped. It more gorgeous in person and on than online. I ordered a 14w without knowing if it would fit. It ended up being slightly too big. 14 would have looked a bit more fitted. The dress is a bit heavy but nothing too bad and the sequins so hurt a bit under the arms but you won’t notice it all night. Get ready for the compliments!!

I loved wearing this dress to my friend's wedding in the country. It was so comfortable for being covered in sequins! Only complaint was the zipper was a little hard to pull over the seam and the occasional sequin was dangling but it wasn't noticeable.

This dress was perfect for a cocktail attire gala. I'm glad I read reviews and went with the smaller size, which fit better even though my normal size would have worked fine as well. It was classy, well-made and was great for dancing. It wasn't too short for me as a tall woman either.

Rented for a wedding and it did not disappoint! Fits true to size and was comfortable around my arms and chest which is normally what i worry about with cuts like this. I work spanx but really didn't need them. I would recommend that u make sure your bra band it's lower in the back as the opening could show it. I got so many compliments and people loved it! Would def get again for another event!

I got so many compliments on this dress! Perfect for a evening wedding in a big city. The color is gorgeous and if I had more "fancy" occasions to go to I would buy it!

I rented a 6 and an 8 and wore the 6. While there's no give in the seam at the waist, where it hits is flattering as it can hide your tummy a bit. The style was swishy, perfect for dancing. The sequins was a tad scratchy but didn't bother me that much. The open back was fun and I was able to wear a strapless bra but not a Spanx style that goes over your shoulder. This was perfect for a cocktail party.

I don't think I have anything bad to say about this dress! It was such a perfect fit. I do have to admit if you are big busted there is no need to wear a bra. I kept forgetting I wasn't wearing one, I just did not need it.

Fit was snug around upper waist but not uncomfortable. Sequins did not bother me. I got so many compliments!

I ended up not wearing this because it was a bit too flashy for the event. The dress I did wear was more fitting for the occasion but his dress is the one I wanted to wear because it was more comfortable and I felt pretty in it. It fits true to size. It is a bit scratchy but worth it. Will rent in the future when I can.

Fits beautifully, the color is everything. I wound up not wearing it due to the fact that I was worried I would be "too flashy". Honestly, if I wasn't the fiancé of the best man I would've just worn it but I didn't want to be too flashy in pictures so I decided against wearing it. Truly is a beautiful dress and color, would definitely rent again.

True to size

I wore this for a formal gala dinner that ran from early evening into late at night and it was really comfortable. I am not a 20-something ingenue, but this dress was fun & flirty while still being age appropriate. The only downside is that if you have a full chest, you need to get a convertible bra that loops around your waist and the sequins rub on the arms a bit.

The dress was the perfect green and fit true to size, comfortable, not heavy, and it is beautifully made. I had a little trouble with the zipper, but an extra hand assisted me. Overall, I am very satisfied!

Rented for NYE - ended up not wearing out because of weather but I wish I had gotten a chance to show this baby off! I usually wear anywhere between a 16-18 for designer dresses, 14-16 in everyday jeans, M-L in tops. The 16W fit, but was still a little roomy (I could get it on without unzipping or undoing the clasp) - I probably could have fit in either the 16 or maybe even 14W. The cut out in the back is super cute, though I did question if my bra would show up over night - again may have been a fit issue, I was going to pair it with a jacket anyways. I'm 5'11" and the length hit me at right about the knees / just above. The fabric is a bit heavy due to all the sequins, and the color seems dark until you're under lights and then this baby sparkles! Loved the empire waist, again was a bit roomy (I'm a 36B) but honestly I would rent this dress again. Also the arms did not bother me - we all know what an issue sequins can be with chafing - was comfy and looked great!

I enjoyed this dress SO much! Very comfortable and so flattering, I got many compliments! I wanted to keep it forever! It was just the right amount of "fancy" without being overly formal. I wore with black stockings and velvet/beaded black shoes. Have fun renters!

I would say it runs true to size/a bit large. The fit and flare is very fun and flirty and the sequins drape nicely. The color is a beautiful deep dark green.

I am usually an 8 or 10 in dresses, but had a baby 2 months prior to wearing this dress, so I wasn't sure if I would be a 10 or a 12. I am the same weight as I was pre-pregnancy, but have a bit of extra belly that I did not before. The only size available was a 10 and it fit perfectly. Due to the flow of the fabric and the sparkle of the sequins, I may have been able to wear my usual size 8 without it accentuating the extra weight in my belly. I will definitely try that size if I rent this dress again. It was perfect for an October wedding and I got so many compliments on it, both in person and on Instagram.

The fit was definitely generous but I felt more comfortable in the 18W instead of the 16W. It was the perfect length on me - I'm 5'6" - so it wasn't too long or short. I wish I had gotten a full length picture but we were having too much fun. The sleeves were a little scratchy but it's sequins so I'm not surprised - only scratched when dancing though didn't notice it until then. I would rent this again! I wish I had rented another color of it for the other wedding I had that weekend because this was definitely my boyfriends favorite on me!

Sequins can be scratchy so be careful! But the dress fit nicely and loved the partially exposed back. I have an hour glass shape and a huge bust so this is good for girls with curves!

This is truly an amazing dress, I wish I owned it! I wore this for a Wizard of Oz-themed wedding and received so many compliments throughout the night. As others have shared, it does irritate the arms a bit, but I didn't start to notice until 6+ hours in. I'm normally a 14 and got the 12 on a whim; I ended up going with the 12 and it fit like a glove. Absolutely loved this dress!

For being a full sequined dress, this is SO comfortable. It does have some stretch and the waist is higher to help hide any belly pooch (it’s really super flattering). I wore a strapless bra and didn’t have issues with it showing in the open back. I wore this dress for 10+ hours and my only complaint was at the very end, I started to get to irritation at the armpits from the sequins rubbing. I got tons of compliments all night - even from strangers. The sparkle really makes this dress stand out. I’m 5’6” 36A and 150lbs

Dress was comfortable, true to size and did not require a lot of additional jewelry to dress it up. Color was a huge hit for the Christmas time wedding. Loved it!

Wonderful fit. I was able to wear a regular bra with no problems.

(Being silly in picture) This dress fit really well, I felt good in it all night, fun to dance in. It's got a nice weight to it because of the sequins, but fully lined so it felt soft to wear. The only small issues were: 1)the sequins were a bit scratchy on my arms but not too bad and no rash the next day so it was fine 2)because of the open back you can't wear a normal or even strapless bra with this. I had to try an adhesive bra and didn't get good support from it. The dress wasn't snug enough on top for me so it didn't add anymore support, so i felt a little jiggly all night haha, but my friends said it looked fine so I got used to it and stopped feeling self conscious.

I got this dress as a backup when my original dress couldnt be delivered and I fell in love with it. Ended up wearing it,depite being a little big. It was a perfect NYE dress and comfortable to wear. Highly recommend!
