I have a very hour glass shape, but this dress was not too tight in the hips. It was loose in the waist, but every dress on me is. What helped with this dress though was the lower/open back. The dress runs pretty long. I am 5'5" and wore 3 inch heels with the regular length dress and it fit. If you are on the cusp, do the regular length. This dress would not be fun for a night if you were in fear of stepping on it. I could not wear a bra, but because the color was dark enough, this was not obvious. The fabric of the dress felt very nice on my sensitive skit. I especially loved when the skirt swooshed around while I was walking.

Fit perfect! Color is very vibrant. It has a small train and the open back is elegant. I wore it with a Victoria secret back strap extender.

The fit was right on! I wore a size 2R because it was the only one available. It was fitted and required seamless undergarments. (If you are at all self-conscious about bulges or rolls, fair warning, they will show in this dress and may require spanks...) I could have worn a 0 but it would have been tight, the 2R allowed for some wiggle room, but the material was stretchy. The sleeves are cut perfectly and don't dig into your armpits, The back peep-hole is the perfect amount of skin revealed. The bottom of the dress is flowy and spreads when you spin. It does have a little bit of a tail so in order to keep it mostly of the floor I had to wear 4.5" heels. I'm very glad I rented it and would definitely recommend it!

The dress was true to size, except very long for me. I am 5'2" and I wore 5 inch heels and still had to pin the bottom up 2 inches. The back train was beautiful, though. I wore an extender on my bra which was great for the open back.

Beautiful purple jewel tone! The fabric is thick, stretchy and comfortable. It's slightly shorter in the front than back to give some interest to the hemline. This dress is great for a full bust because of the material and you can wear a standard bra. I would recommend spanx for this dress. The detailing on the Cap sleeves is beautiful, but this dress may accentuate broad shoulders (as I have). I am typically a 0-2 and the 2 fit me pretty well. The dress runs true to size, and size up for back up. This dress is a great, comfortable black tie option in a knock out color!

Fit true to size. A bit long (I'm a little taller than 5'4"). The back is open on the dress; I was able to accommodate opening with a regular bra and low-back extender from Victoria's Secret. A little clingy around the waist, but overall very comfortable for dinner and dancing. Zipper end stuck out a little on the back (ends at your tailbone), which I didn't love, and I had to pull down the inside layer occasionally as it was would bunch a little under the dress.

This dress is perfect and forgiving. I ended up being an 8 petite, I have a 29 inch waist, and 36 inch bust, with 39 inch hips. Yes I am a pear shape and petite. The bottom of this dress is amazing and how it hugs to the curvature. You will not be cold in this dress as there is multiple layers on the hips and bottom. The back does have an opening! I wore a tank underneath as I did not want my back exposed. Also this sleeve detail is what made the dress! Perfect dress and it was definitely a memorable night!

This was a great dress! Fit me like a glove and oh so flattering. Very true to size! Love the beading and threading on the cap sleeves that was such a gorgeous detail. And the color was just awesome. Felt so elegant in this dress. The only one thing that I have to complain about was the condition that the threading was on the cap sleeves some of it was pulled out and on one side it was ripped. It was minimal and I dealt with it. But next time RTR just check the dresses before sending them out ! ;) I recommend this dress highly !

I'm not that short (5'5") but my RTR stylist recommended the long option since it looks more dramatic with heels on. The dress was super comfortable, and the side seaming on the hips was extremely flattering! Note: the keyhole is a bit low, so I bought one of the bra extenders from RTR, which worked perfectly.

Dress fit wonderfully and felt great. (could have maybe gone a size down) The length was perfect. If you're taller than me (5'6) go long though. The material will show all your curves so spanx if necessary. The only con was the jeweled embellishments are a little heavy and tend to hang off so I was adjusting the shoulders periodically. Other than that, everything was great. I got so many compliments all throughout the night.

Classy dress good for any formal event. Very easy to wear, thick fabric so no see through parts, good length for moderately high heels, and easy to maintain.

Dress was beautiful and of great quality. Dress was a little big (12r), I ordered the 12r as a backup size and my original size a 10r was damaged previously and was unable to be sent. Their stylist picked out a size 10r in a similar dress and sent it as well. Runs a little long, but not so you can't walk. I danced and had no problems with the length. The chest area fit well for someone with a larger chest or is broader in the chest cavity. Has a low back and you will need a bra that accommodates. When the dress arrived, the shoulder gems had pulls in the threads, if you pull them evenly they flatten out. This was my first rental and I was impressed with how easy they make everything, from ordering, to changes and add ons, and packaging to return. I am using them again for another event next week!

Comfortable, true to size, I'm only 5 foot 1 and the Regular was perfect for me with small heels. Beautiful vibrant color, between a purple and blue, beading/ribbon had some snags. Pretty and great dress for me post-baby.

Based off other reviews I rented 2R and 4R. I am usually a 2R but got the 4R to be safe. Ended up wearing the 2R since the length was perfect with 4.5 in heels, the fabric is stretchy, you'll want spanx with this dress as it clings to your body. The back opening is beautiful and you'll need a bra extender or a backless sticky bra. The dress does have a bit of a train. If you normally have issues with fitting properly in the armpits you'll see a bit of looseness with this dress but it worked out. Received many compliments all night!!

Hangs beautifully, accentuates curves nicely, and great color! Great length too! Was not tripping on it but it was just long enough.

Too small in hip area. Might work better on a different body shape. Beautiful dress.

Spanx are a must, shows every body detail. Cannot wear a bra with this dress unless you wear an extendor.

Gorgeous dress! Beautiful color and fit. Material is stretchy so my normal size worked on this dress. It was a tough choice on which dress to wear, and I ultimately wore the other dress, but this was great as well.

This dress was sent as a back up because the back up size I ordered in my original dress was damaged. I did try the dress on and it it lovely. I usually wear a size 14 and this size 16 fit me almost perfectly but was a little loose in the top. I would size up if you are ordering this dress

This was an easy, comfortable, beautiful dress to wear. Fits true to size. I am 5"8" and the regular was perfect with 2 inch heels (I don't like to wear anything higher than that!). The color is deep and vivid; perfect for an autumn or winter event. The specific dress I rented had a stretched / pulled zipper and didn't lie perfectly flat on my rear, hence the 4 stars.

This dress looked gorgeous, but once I put it on I felt blah in it. The color is so pretty. Maybe I should have ordered a size smaller to really get the shape, but it did nothing for my curvy body.

This dress did not fit my body type. Super type all over. And I'm usually comfortable in size 16 dresses. It also was a regular length for a tall gal so it looked horribly disproportionate. I recommend sizing up and getting more length of you're 5'7" or taller (depending on your heels too)!
