The dress fits very well. If you're not super skinny, it will bunch up at the waist though. Regardless, it fit very well and was super comfortable. I received a lot of compliments. I also loved the detail in the bacl.

I wore this to a black tie optional gala and got non-stop compliments. It fit beautifully and based on previous reviews I did order a size up. I thought about wearing shapewear, but the material of this dress is such that any wrinkle will show, so the band of my shapewear showed. Ultimately I didn't think I needed it. The color of this dress is amazing and I feel like it would flatter many different skin tones and the dress shape would look good on anyone. This dress was amazing and I highly recommend renting it!

this was a back up dress sent to me when my first dress didn't fit. but all's well that ends well because this dress is exactly what I was looking for: elegant, comfortable, and a fun color. The shape flattered my waist and I liked the extra fabric at the bottom - enough to make it flowy but not dragging along. I wore this with 2" heels and it miraculously hit the floor just right! I can see this worn for weddings with all dress codes

Color is spectacular. Dress fit fairly tight but had a really quality lining that made it lay smoothly and wasn't worried about sweating thru it on a hot Miami afternoon!

Loved this dress! It had a really pretty back and enough stretch to be comfortable! I'm 5'3" and this dress worked with 3 inch heels!

The length was perfect with a kitten heel and the fabric is on the thicker side which makes it more forgiving.

Wore to a black tie wedding and it was very appropriate. I am usually between 0 - 2. I wore 2R and had a bit of room so it was very true to size.

Dress was the right length with flat shoes. Great color and cut.

I fit into the 14 but went with the 16 to get a bit of extra room across my hips where I'm slightly larger to ensure the fabric lay smoothly everywhere. The cut is definitely true to size but if you're naturally curvier or larger, size up for your backup. I'm 5'4'' and work 2/2.5 in heels - the length was perfect and I loved the small train (although yes, people stepped on it). The lining is pretty thick so you have to be mindful to pull it down/smooth it out after bathroom trips to make sure there aren't any bunches or folds but it gives you some flexibility on what you can wear underneath which is great.

It fits well for the most part, however there is an annoying fold underneath the bust area. It forces you to have impeccable posture! The color is not at all like pictured on the model, it is much more purple. The material is really comfortable, and the dress in itself is really comfortable as well.

Received tons of compliments on this dress, the back was just the right amount of interest. Gorgeous color, I wore the 8 but if there was a 10R available I probably would have worn that. It was a bit snug in the straps and mid section but still loved it!

So I am a tall girl and the dress hit at floor length without any sort of heel, so ordering the 8L was my best option as I am between 5'10 and 5'11...the color is a gorgeous magenta and it fit very nicely! I got a lot of compliments and was able to move freely across the dance floor! Loved the dress just wish it was a little longer so I could wear a small heel, instead of wearing flip flops, but it worked out for the best!

I had found this at Neiman and Marcus and tried it on in a 10 and it fit perfectly, the only thing was that the slip was a little tight and the dress itself was extremely long. So when I ordered from RtR I got the 10R and 12R. Those two were basically the same dress, except the bust was slightly looser on the 12 for me than the 10 and the slip was a more comfortable fit. But, the dress was much shorter than the one I tried on in store so I wore flat Jack Rogers with it because the dress was just above floor length. Also, very nice and easy fabric. The back is definitely the best part, I received so many compliments!

The color was a lot more purple then in the picture but absolutely beautiful!! It was A bit short with my heels but still looked amazing! I got compliments all night!! And the back just gave it an extra touch, I was so sad to have to return it!

The dress is extremely long and can get warm on the dance floor. If you wear flats you will be dragging the bottom of the dress so wear comfortable heels with this gown. (Take your time going up the stairs and lift the top of the dress when traveling up the stairs) Other than I absolutely loved this dress and I received numerous compliments on the color and fit.

I rented this dress to wear on a cruise and absolutely loved just. It had a little bit of a train for the added glamour feeling and was comfortable to sit in for dinner and wear for dancing later. I could not get enough of it

It was a backup dress that had been overnighted to me since I didn't like my original pick and I picked it on a whim, never thinking it would look good on me. I was so wrong, just do yourself a favor and rent this stunner!

Rented this for my sorority formal and it was absolutely incredible! It was insanely flattering and hugged my curves in all the right ways while still being really comfortable. I thought it might be a little plain, but with the way it fit and the back detail, it added the right amount of drama. The color is a little more purple-y than it looks online, but I would still consider it a fuchsia/magenta and my date picked out a tie labeled as fuchsia which matched perfectly. The material is thick so I was worried about getting hot in it while dancing, but this didn't end up being much of an issue. The top is also thick enough and tight enough that you can go without a bra with no issue. I was debating between the regular and long and ended up going with the regular due to that being what was available first, but the long probably would've been slightly better. I wore sparkly strappy heels that go slightly above my ankle and the dress ended slightly past my ankle so it didn't really cover my shoes much in the front, but it wasn't so short that it looked weird and the back is slightly longer so worked out. I felt amazing in this dress and can't wait to have an occasion to rent it again.

A 4 wasn't available but would have been a better fit. The dress runs long also since I'm 5'3" and the 6P was still dragging the floor even with 4" heels. But I got rave reviews from my friends and colleagues at a fundraising event!

Wore this dress in 8R for a formal wedding. Perfect length with 4" heels. The color is stunning. Fit is flattering in all the right places. The low back detail and ruching really makes this dress a showstopper.

Rented for a formal family wedding. Definitely did not need to size up in this dress. Full coverage in the front made it appropriate for taking wedding party photos but the back gave it just enough spice. Didn't need to wear a bra (34 DD). The lining and the thick material did make it a little hot for a June wedding in SC while dancing but overall very comfortable. I'm 5'7" and the length was perfect with three inch heels. Lots of compliments on the color! Really loved this dress.

This dress was a 10/10. It wasn't tight on my body. I am 5"4 and wore 3.5 inch heels with this dress and it was a great length. I didn't find this dress too hot as others felt they did. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone.

This dress was so great, the petite was the perfect length on my 5'2" frame with heels. The dress didn't really lend itself to undergarments as you could see underwear lines but the material was thick enough to where this wasn't a huge concern. I am also small chested so no bra isn't an issue for me. The color was incredible it was deeper and more purple-y than expected but absolutely beautiful. I received multiple compliments throughout the night and felt fantastic! oh, and in case this doesn't show up elsewhere I am 5'2, 138 lbs, 32 B (such a small B), and more athletic body type.

I was worried about it being too small or big but I tried it on and it fit perfectly!! I am very tall (5’9) but it was the perfect length too. It was breathable and comfortable and I would rent it again. Definitely reccommend.

This dress is amazing. I wore a stick on bra and you could only see the outline a little bit if you looked closely.

The fit is for an athletic build, however I did have to pin the straps shorter so the bust didn't droop/fold (I am 34b). I had originally ordered a 2P but the dress was unavailable to ship when the date arrived. The 4P was very comfortable and fit well after a few temporary adjustments. The customer service (Shoutout to Emily!) was amazing and sent me a free pricier dress just in case the 4P didn't work out. The petite length was perfect with 4 inch heels (I am 5'2") and I received plenty of compliments throughout the evening. The color is a striking magenta/orchid (depending on the lighting) and stood out at the black tie wedding without being over the top. It was a ball to dance and twirl in with the flowing fabric in the back. Absolutely recommend!

I wore this dress for my junior prom. It was a bit loose up too, but it fit well everywhere else. It is pretty tight around the midsection and it shows everything, make sure to wear correct underwear. I didn't wear a bra and didn't have a problem. The back is very pretty. The color stands out, I still can't tell what color it is really, depending on the lighting it looks purple to fuchsia. I'm short, so it was a bit long even with heels, and was constantly being stepped on throughout the night. The dress is heavy and if it's warm out it will be very hot. Overall, for me, the color, back, and fit outweighed everything else.

Called RTR frantic whn I realized 2 dresses I ordered didn't work. Rep stayed on phone w me for an hr to find another and overnighted. I NEVER would have picked this dress and the pics don't do it justice. It's perfect for those who want to show off that hourglass, but can't do body con tight-fit thru love handles and hips. Looks light, but great lining and quality materials. Cant wear trad bra because of back detail and low cut, but I didn't wear one and it was fine. This dress fits true to size. It was a tad long but I'm only 5'0 so everything is long on me! It was very flattering and I got tons of compliments on it! I would wear this again in a heartbeat!

this dress was amazing! i received so many compliments all night. Fabric is thick and a little heavy, but lays out so elegant on the body. Stretches and moves with you, could have worn it all night. I got the regular length, which for being tall they recommended the longer length. It worked fine even with 3" heels, longer in back and i didn't want to risk stepping on it. One of the straps on the dress was a little torn but you could not see it. Color is amazing, worn with black shoes and rhinestone earrings and bracelet. No cons on this one, works well with bubble rear since material gathers in back.

The 0 petite fit perfectly. With three inch heels, the dress just skimmed the floor in the front. The back of the dress is lovely, the picture truly doesn't do it justice. The material is of great quality and photographed well. I was originally concerned about the color that was displayed on the RTR picture, however it was more of a rich fall purple.

This dress was simple yet elegant, a nice bold purple. Because of the neckline and open back I chose not to a bra but bc the material was thick it didn't show anything. For reference I am 5'3 and 165 pounds. I paired this dress with a vintage gold bracelet and 3 inch nude sandal heels.

I loved the richness of the color of this gown. Very simple cut and subtle sexy back. It was extremely comfortable and I did not need to wear a bra with this dress. It was a little long on me (5'4") but I wore 4" heels and it was fine for the most part. Needed to hold on to the back of the dress while I danced a bit but it didn't bother me too much. The fabric is definitely heavier with lots of layers in the skirt so keep that in mind if you'll be outdoors. Otherwise, loved this gown - total classic.

The fabric felt great and the cut in the back was an instant hit. I belted it to show my waist. The front was classic and simple but the back was sexy and not too revealing. I'm 5'11 and it's recommended for shorter ladies, but it's too beautiful to pass up. You should definitely purchase the NuBra or silicone nipple pasties

This was the perfect wedding guest dress! I got so many compliments on it. Fits great for an hourglass shape, and was so nice to not have to wear a bra with this dress. The fabric is thick enough that stickies work, and you won't feel uncomfortable. I was hesitant at first because I am very full up top (32DDD), but it completely worked. The back is beautiful as well and is still high up enough that it is sexy, but elegant. It was long on me, but I wore 4" heels that made the dress the perfect length. Very comfortable to move around in and dance, as well!

I am in LOVE with this dress! This was my first time using RTR and I was nervous but once I got it I felt so relieved! It made me feel so confident and beautiful, I totally recommend. It's fitting but not too tight especially around the stomach area so if you're worried about it hugging it doesn't! I loved this dress and wished I didn't have to return it!!

This dress is beyond beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I have a smaller bust and the 8 fit better at the bust but the 10 fit better at the hips. I ended up wearing the 10 and I had the perfect amount of wiggle room. The dress is more purple than it is pictured on the model but it is a beautiful dress and I was sad to say goodbye to i
