I have searched for YEARS for the perfect NYE dress with the right amount of sparkle. So when friends of mine decided to get married on NYE I looked high and low for the perfect dress. This was it!

This was a great dress for my work holiday party. It was easy to dance in! The cuff have some beading which was such a nice little touch. Some of the threads were a little loose, but only I could notice. Loved it!

I wore this dress for my company's holiday party and it was a huge hit! One lady even told me it was her favorite dress of anyone at the party. I am normally between a size 4/6 and I ended up wearing the 4, although it was a bit tight over my hip area because I have wide hips and a big booty. ;-) I expected it to be more stretchy but there wasn't a lot of stretch at all so I would recommend ordering one size larger than normal as a backup just in case. Because of the tight hip area I did feel like it didn't quite lay perfectly on my body, but I think it was only noticeable to me. Overall I was super happy with it and would definitely recommend it if you want something that's not overtly sexy but definitely makes a statement!

I wore this for a holiday party. It's fantastic and beautiful! I was concerned at first that it would be too sparkly, but the dress has darker sequins, so it's not too bright. It hugged my curves perfectly. I don't recommend it for pear shape body types or anyone with wide hips. I love the length, as it wasn't too short. When I sat down, it rose up a bit, so I had to sit with my legs together like a princess. I would rent this again. I was sad to send it back.

First, I want to start off by saying that I received both dresses on time and in perfect condition. I received several compliments throughout the night. As far as fit, I normally wear a size 8 but had to wear the back up size 10 because it was kind of snug in the arm area so do opt for a back up size. If you are worried about this dress being too tight in other areas, such as the midsection, just wear a pair of Spanx and you will be okay. Other than that, the material of the dress is thick and not thin and it's not short at all. I think others will be very pleased with this selection.

The dress was well cut (for me) and quite comfortable all night. I loved the length of the dress, and actually only noticed after the fact (when my mom pointed it out) that the sequins are in a houndstooth pattern! The sleeves were a great length and it just worked out very well. I'd definitely rent this dress again.

This dress looks amazing in person because it sparkles. The compliments that night all started with "WOW"! The cuffs on the sleeves are beautifully beaded. I would recommend this dress for a cocktail party; it is covered in sequins, so it is not the most comfortable dress to sit down in for long periods of time, and you wouldn't want it to rub up next to people on the dance floor. I went up a size because I have broad shoulders and long arms, and I wanted the sleeves to fit well. I love that RTW allows me to enjoy an event in such a gorgeous, stand-out dress.

I was late to the game finding a dress for my father's company holiday party, so I frantically made an appointment at the Georgetown store location in Washington, DC. The customer service was incredible, the ladies helping me where so attentive and pulled many great options. I scoured the website and this is never a dress I would have picked for my self, but the stylist had a great eye and knew it would look great. The dress fit perfectly, it shows off a waist I didn't know I had while still being loose enough to be comfortable. The sequins on the bodice are muted so it makes a statement without being over the top, it still had a great amount of sparkle though! The sheer sleeves were a wonderful addition and the detail of the beading on the cuff is incredible. The length was perfect, it hit just above the knee and didn't ride up too high when I sat down. I felt sophisticated and elegant and would absolutely rent this dress again if I found a need.

I loved the dress! Picked it up in Las Vegas at their store in the Cosmopolitan. The woman that helped me was sweet and patient. The dress was tight, but mind you I'm 7 months pregnant! It had just enough stretch to accommodate by baby bump, yet still give me a shape and make me feel sexy! Great for NYE ;-)

I love the fit of this dress. I wear a 14 in normal clothes but usually go up a size for a body conscious cut like this. There are some blue sequins that keep the silver from being over the top shiny. This was my first RTR experience and I couldn't be more pleased.

The fit was perfect. I was afraid it was going to be too short, but it was a great length. It does not have any give, so make sure you size correctly. I was stopped by complete strangers all night that complimented me on the dress. I am big chested and it was not constricting. The shoulders and sleeves we were not too tight and not too loose. This dress was perfect! I wanted to keep it.

I'm happy I read the reviews and rented this dress In a size up. While the two would have fit, it would have been obvious it was pulling across the front. The 4 was perfect, considering I didn't want to wear a body con dress to the White House. Beware that the sequins do pull on things, kept catching on my scarf that I wore before but otherwise the dress is easy to wear and the sleeves look very elegant

Wish it would've been a little more sexy. Was a little big in the chest and the hips.

The dress has a sparkly/lacy overlay with a black slip underneath. The slip is stretchy which helps to hold things in place a bit. When I opened the garment bag, I thought the dress was a little more sparkly than what the photos show, but still quite nice. The sleeves are very elegant -- sheer with a cuff that match the dress and zipper closures. I usually wear size 12 but needed to size up to get enough room in the bust area (size 38DDD). Otherwise, the fit was true to size. About four inches of the hem on the lace overlay was out, but I was able to fix it quickly with a few stitches -- the dress was showing some other signs of wear, too. The cuffs were a tiny bit frayed but not noticeable to anyone but me and the back of the neck was somewhat worn. I probably won't rent the dress again as I prefer to try something new each time I rent, however, I found the dress to be comfortable and quite easy to wear. I received several compliments on it.

It's a very comfy dress and decently warm given the mesh sleeves. But Id say it runs a little large and long in the arms and skirt. I actually pinned the skirt up to make it shorter because it fell at my knees before. The arms were also a little long, but not so much that it really made a difference. It's a very comfortable dress and definitely sparkles.

The stretch is limited as described, but there was plenty of stretch for my figure even though the profile of the dress is fairly straight. I had to wear the larger size (14) to fit my bust. But it was comfortable and the sequins did not catch anything. I was worried the arms would be tight and they are were just fine. Of course I received many compliments at my company Christmas party. A note on my size - I have very long legs for my height and therefore a very short torso. Depending on the article of clothing I wear from a 10 to 14. Jeans are 11/12 with a 36" inseam. Tops are sized to fit my bust - so large or extra large, then tailored to shorten the length and arms. The arm length on the dress was perfect though. This was my first Rent the Runway experience and it was great. I've rarely worn a formal dress (that I bought) twice, and each time spent much more than I did on this rental. I am so looking forward to my next dress, which is already ordered!

The dress was fitted but also had some stretch to it which was perfect since I was newly pregnant when I wore this fitted dress. Loved the sheer arms to cover my trouble area.

I am either a 6 or 8 dress depending on brand/cut and was glad I chose an 8 in this. It is beautiful and I plan to wear to a fall or holiday event.

Ordered a 10 and 12. Thought a 10 was going to fit and it was a little too tight. I would go with your true size and maybe one up if your a curvy girl.

Dress is not stretchy, but fits true to size. Would order up for backup.

I normally wear a 14 or a 16 depending on designer. I was very hopefull that my pear shaped body would fit in this dress. It did not. Super bummed because it was a lovely dress and still had the tags on it.

Usually wear a 4 or 6 depending on the style. The 6 was perfect, except snug in the bust (34D). Form fitting with a bit of give. I felt very comfortable and covered, yet glamorous. The length is good, too. Not so short that I had to be wary. Lots of compliments.

I rented this for a black tie event in Las Vegas. I've never worn a short dress to a black tie event before, but RTR was out of extra long dresses so I figured, when in Vegas, wear sequins! This dress fits pretty true to size, as I've always worn a 6 in Badgley Mischka. I am 6'1" and this dress was long enough...except in the sleeves. However, that's a common problem and one I was willing to overlook. If you're tall, this dress is a great option because it's pretty straight and there isn't a worry with the hips being in the wrong place. It'll stretch to fit you. You don't need any jewelry except earrings, which is a nice perk with this dress. The material is a bit stretchy and very thick. The sequins are a little scratchy on the arms, but that's to be expected with a sequin dress. The color is more of a silvery blue than the picture shows. It's pretty. Overall, a great rental!

This dress is beautiful, and it definitely sparkles. I wouldn't suggest wearing if you want to blend in. It fit true to size, and it was maybe a touch short for my 5'10" frame both in the sleeve and dress lengths. I added a belt at the waist to give it some shape, but I could have also worn it without. Overall, I was pleased with this back up dress, as it was a last minute choice.

It was a little tight in the arms for me. And I found the glitter to be gorgeous however a little bit too scratchy for a night out on the town dancing.

I wear a 6 normally but had to go with the 8. It felt really snug too but I received a TON of compliments on this dress. It was for my company holiday party. Loved the shear sleeves. They had some accent beads so jewelry was minimal.
