I got lots of positive comments on this dress. Luckily, no one else wore the same dress at this event (I saw 6 of the same green RTR dresses!!). It held up well and was comfortable

The only con I have is the slit is WAY high. I mean, really high. Which results in the inability to wear spanx! That was a serious bummer bc I would have looked even more amazing if I had had the undergarments I wanted to wear.

I rented this dress for a new year's eve gala, along with earrings with blue and white diamonds, a diamond bracelet, and a sparkly purse and the combination was perfect. I recently gained weight due to an injury and was worried I wouldn't look good in anything. I went to the store in Georgetown DC and worked with a stylist and she had me try on this one last and my boyfriend loved it. It runs a little large but hangs well. The gap on the leg does not open unless you sit down because there is so much fabric. There is a slight train and the dress swishes when you walk. It gathers on the side to give a waistline. It has a liner, which lets the dress hang down instead of gathering. The sequins under the arms were scratchy but worth it. The dress was heavy but stretchy and comfortable. It was even easy to manage in the bathroom. The sparkles and design made it very glamorous and I got a lot of compliments all night. I think it would be good to try on your actual size and one size down. I recommend getting glitzy jewelry and shimmery makeup so the dress doesn't wash you out. Silver sandals or even flats work great because it is long enough to cover everything but your toes. I definitely recommend going to the store if you can. I was not only able to try on several dresses, but Birchbox is there and they sell makeup and I paid to have a makeover an hour before the party. Not only did they do my makeup, the manager helped style my hair so it looked sophisticated. They also give you a glass of champagne and were very nice. I felt like I had my own styling team!

It was extremely comfortable. I wore 4" heels with it, which made the dress length PERFECT. The slit up the left leg is just the right amount of "sexy" without being raunchy. The neckline is modest, but alluring. I wore Silver & CZ long,drop earrings, a matching cuff bangle and no necklace. I have long hair that I wore down. My hair would occasionally snag in the sequins in the back. So wear your hair up if it is long. Other than that, I wish I could have kept the gown forever.

I ended up in the 18 as the size 16 was returned damaged. This was my back up. It was a tad big but very comfortable. Had a great night dancing. Love this designer for more full-figured women.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this style! I had never tried anything that only had one shoulder, so I was a bit nervous to try it. But, once I put it on, I felt like a movie star! It is fitted throughout the midsection, but the ruching is extremely flattering. The dark blue color of the sequins makes the dress feel glamorous. There is some stretch to the material, so it's still comfortable. There is also a fun slit in the front to add some extra drama.

Dress was stunning. Fit true to size and even worked out great with my large bust. The slit added a sexy feel. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone. The sequins sparkled all night.

The fit is true to size and does have some gathering for us "hippy - curvy" ladies. The only con is the zipper is hard to manage and work - you must have patience and definitely have someone help you get into this one.

I had no idea what size to order when I got this gown. I recently had a baby and am also nursing so I had trouble with the first style I tried fitting. (BTW right now a 38DDD thanks mama milk!) This dress was slightly big on me and had room in the chest area and pretty much all over. But over all it was a great fit and I couldn't have been happier since it was literally the only dress RTR had in my size last minute. I probably could have worn the 14 (no plus) since there was extra room. The best part was the extra fabric around the middle which you can't see, but hid my baby belly! I was surprised to see this "feature". It was comfortable and the slit didn't bother me like I thought. It came to mid thigh.

I ordered this dress (over-nighted) after my original dress didn't fit. It was a totally different style - but I LOVED this dress! My one complaint is that it could have been a bit tighter at my waist. I got compliments all night and the dress really just fit beautifully. I'm 6'0", ordered a long, and it was a perfect length with a very short 1 1/2 inch heel. It's hard to see in the pictures ( I didn't notice it until it arrived) that there's a slit that starts over your left mid-thigh and goes to the bottom. Kinda like the Angeline Jolie Leg meme, as someone pointed out to me. This was fine for me - it made it easier to walk - but if you're looking for a more conservative dress this might not be it! Remember that formal wear runs small - I got an 18 and wear a 16 in pants/not formal dresses.

It was comfortable and easy to move in. No problems dancing even when I kicked off the shoes.

Fit was true to size. It was very flattering with the side ruching. The only thing was I had to wear different body shaper as the slit went higher than anticipated and it showed. Fabris was forgiving and the sequins weren't too bad under the arm. I wore a convertible bra with one strap that helped with the fit as well. I wish I had more reasons to wear dresses like this.

I enjoyed this dress. The color is beautiful with just enough sparkle for a formal evening event. The material is stretchy enough to be comfortable on a full figure but still adds a nice shape. The only "con" is after several hours dancing and partying my arms hurt from the sequence rubbing.

Went with the size 16 instead of 18 and felt amazing in it. Very comfortable and flattering. I was worried about the length, but wore very high heels and they worked.

Love the dress but zipper was stiff and difficult and that was unzipping it off the hanger. The 14w fit better but opted for the 16w the zipper was slightly easier to use
