This dress was perfect. It was a great fit and very comfortable. Got many compliments all night.

Rented for a photo shoot - pure perfection!

This dress was perfect for an evening wedding. It is very stretchy which makes it comfortable for lots of eating, drinking, and dancing!

It's snug without being uncomfortably tight. Ruching across the torso adds visual interest while allowing room to stretch. It's a little longer in back, so even with the added height of heels, I hiked it up on the dance floor so as not to step on it. Such a good fit and look that I considered purchasing it.

True to size

I am 5'4, 123 lbs, and I wore a size 6. It fit like a glove. I probably could have gone with a size 4 as well, as I had plenty of wiggle room. But I stuck with 6 because I was very comfortable! I felt like a celebrity, it was really wonderful! I am very happy with Rent the Runway and will continue to use their services for all my gala events!

It has some fading under arms which is not visible to everyone but shows that's been worn many times before. I would reduce price for the dresses like that. I expected a bit better for $100.

Perfect dress for a charity ball, beautiful color and just the right amount of sparkle. I received lots of compliments all night. I was worried about the sequins rubbing but had no issues even after dancing for several hours. The dress had just enough give to move comfortably but didn't stretch too much to lose it's shape. I am 5'11" and wore 2 in heels and the 6L was just long enough. This was my first time with RTR and will definitely not be my last!

The dress fit true to size. The regular length was just long enough to wear 3 inch heels without the hem dragging. The sequins did not rub under the arms or catch on my coat or seat. The dress was comfortable enough to dance for several hours. I received so many compliments and felt gorgeous in this gown.

This dress looked amazing! Normally a dress size 8, im glad I rented the size smaller too! The slit is sexy but the overall dress is still so classic Hollywood. When you sit, the slit is high so you wont be able to wear spanx underneath otherwise it would show. The fabric was comfortable and not itchy at all! The shoulder didnt move all night. If you order the long, it is long! Im 5'7 and put on 3" heels....stairs were tough going down because of the length. Really happy with this dress. I felt amazing all night long!

I wore this dress to a black tie charity event. I was surprised that this dress had a decent amount of stretch to it. I was very comfortable all night long including many hours of dancing. The sequins did not rub at all. I am 5'4" and wore 3 inch heels and the dress was just off the ground which was perfect. The dress is a tad longer in the back which wasnt a problem but something to be noted. Would highly recommend!

It was super comfortable and got lots of compliments. This was my 1st time and will order again! Perfect for the Gala I attended. Was not too heavy. Didn't have a problem with it too long, wore 2" heels and I'm 5'8". Typically I wear a size 0-2 for dresses and this dress was perfect. Smidge big around the waist but fit well.

Fit was great, there is a little stretch. The dress is much less shiny in person than I was expecting, in a good way. I found it be very comfortable and easy to wear. The ruching is very flattering. Loved it!

Everything about this dress was amazing! I ordered the 2L and 4L and wore the 4L because the 2L was a bit tight around my thighs. It has a slight stretch so was extremely comfortable all night long, and it was long enough for me to wear 3" heels. I received tons of compliments and felt very classy. This was my first RtR experience and it was perfect. What a great idea!

Unfortunately the pandemic party-killer caused my event to be cancelled so I didn't get to wear this beautiful dress. Still here's the review. (*Please note I was healthy and actively social distancing while this dress was in my possession). Ordered 2R since anything smaller was unavailable. So it was a bit big but not unwearable. Length was surprisingly ok considering how short I am (wearing 3" heels). Only downside was it smelled like body odor from previous renter. Still, hope to rent again!

I thought I would wear a size 8 but ended up wearing size 6 because the fabric has a slight stretch to it. I loved the dress but it has been rented a few too many times as there were patches in the back where the blue had rubbed off the sequin and it was silver. I still wore it as it wasn't that noticeable and it was an evening event. This was my first time renting and I will again, and I highly recommend this dress but Rent the Runway needs to retire the particular one I wore.

Gorgeous, classy, and sexy for a New Year's Eve formal event at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis. Absolutely love this dress. Cons: I would give it 5 stars but the sequins under the arms scratched me :( not that big a deal though!

I wore this to an annual gala and felt like a princess. This dress hugged every curve and yet was so comfortable, fun and flashy. Dancing the night away was easy with the beautiful side slit. xo

I’m a bit too heavy and I needed help with my side zipper. Make sure you try on before event if you are too heavy, may be a bit snug. I thought the beads irritate the inside of my arms, but not the case. I got tons of compliments on this one. The dark color makes it very forgiving if you have extra weight at your waistline

EVERYONE complimented this dress!!! It was SO gorgeous - the color was fantastic and the fit was beautiful. It did stretch throughout the night to the point where i was pulling it up every 5 minutes, and the sequins did start to itch after a while, but it was SO Stunning. I'm 5'1 and the R size was just about .5 inch too long on me with 6 inch heels. But it was SUCH a stunner. Would buy if smaller and not as expensive!

The dress is beautiful. I rented a large size because that's all they had available. It did fit big and didn't "hug" all of my parts... but looked okay and it was comfortable. My regular size is 8r or 10r.

Wore this to an east coast wedding in October. This dress was incredibly comfortable and flattering on my 26 week baby bump! My only "complaint" was that it was pretty long. I'm 5'3" and wore 3" heels - I thought the regular would work since a bump often makes a dress shorter but it was still pretty long. I would have probably been better off with the petite. Overall I loved the dress though! You can't go wrong with this one!

Fabric has some stretch, so it hugged all my curves without being constricting.

This dress is glamourous and fun. It's easy to dance in and stays put on top. I wore a standard strapless bra and it didn't look bunchy or bulgy anywhere. Also, I'm sort of tall and I wore 3" heels in a 4R so while extra tall ladies may need the long length, the regular will likely be ok if you're average to almost tall and wearing heels. The slit is fun-high, not obnoxious-high. I adore that this dress is navy, one of my favorite colors. I wore gold and opal vintage rings/bracelets/earrings and it looked timeless and on point. I will rent this dress again if I have somewhere fancy to go!

I loved everything about this dress! From the color, sparkle, fit, slit in front, and asymmetrical neckline to the ruching detail. An absolute beautiful dress and I received many compliments that evening. I am short at 5'-2" and the dress ran a bit long on me so I had to wear my highest pair of heels so not to trip on myself. The material was thick but not heavy or hot, and I was dancing a good part of the night!

I’ve quite literally been waiting to wear this dress to the MC ball for like 4 years, and I was finally able to rent it. Unfortunately, the last renter didn’t return the Long length in time, so they were only able to ship the regular length. I’m only 5’4” and the regular was way too short to the point that it significantly took away from the look of the dress. I had on 3” heels to try it with, and it was a no. The only size they had available was a 2 (I’m normally a 4 or 6), but it fit fine bc of how stretchy the material is. A little digging in under the armpit but not too bad. Maybe next year :(

This dress was a dream! I was nervous about the fit and length as they didn't have the size available that I would have ordered. The stretch material made the dress so comfortable to be able to wear and dance in for hours! The sequence were not itchy. A 0 regular would have also worked for a more snug fit. The regular length worked well with a 3-4" heel.

I was impressed with how the dress moved, when you walk the slit shows off your leg just right! It was form fitting but the fabric had a little give so it hugs you curves in a complimentary way. It was a little scratchy because of the sequins but the lining was soft and helps!

Got this for a black tie wedding and it worked perfect. Showed off my assets (which my husband appreciated) and had stretch for an overall flattering fit. It was comfortable to dance in and the sequins never felt pokey or itchy. As usual, very happy with RTR!

I felt like a million bucks! Very comfortable and I'm on the bustier side - 36D. I wore a long because I prefer length than being too short. I'm 5'6 and the long with heels was perfect. I wore a regular bra and tucked the one strap in- worked perfect! Highly recommend!!

I've rented a handful of dresses from RTR and this is by far my favorite. It was so flattering and easy to wear. I probably could have worn the 8L with husband's help on the zipper. Full of sequins, but not at all heavy. Compliments all night!

Wore this to the Latin Grammys and it was super comfortable and flattering! There is some stretch to it, i tried the 18W and it was too big in the chest. I'm 5'3, 38D, and wore a 4 inch heel with it.

Okay so normally I'm a size 4 but the only size available for the dates I needed it was size 2R. I'm 5'8" and I wore 3-4" heels. With the heels on, the dress rested a couple inches off the floor but it didn't make the dress look weird at all. The only other thing is that because I'm usually a size 4, the one shoulder was a little snug in the armpit, but not enough that it was distracting or took away from the evening. Super comfortable stretchy material, I got so many compliments! Thank you RTR!

I wore this dress for an awards function at the RF Convention. I went with the 10R, and it fit me like a glove! I wore some shape wear and a strapless bra, and the dress was very comfortable and flattering. I'm 5 ft 4, and I wore medium height heels and it was the perfect length. The dress was also surprisingly light weight and the slit wasn't too revealing either. ;) I received TONS of compliments on this dress too! I highly recommend this dress for any kind of formal occasion!

Pros: Perfect fitting, very flattering, nice sparkles, very comfortable . Size 2L was the perfect length for 5’9’’ with high heels. Cons: none
