This dress is so beautiful! I was most surprised that the length was perfect for my height too. I did wear 4” heels. I loved how elegant and sophisticated this dress made me feel. It’s modest yet very sexy and flattering to the body. If I knew I’d get use out of it I would have wanted to purchase. Highly recommend.

Love this dress. Covered in sequins but not scratchy at all. I'm 5'5" and the length was perfect with 3" heels. The back was lovely -- a slit opening at the upper back, and the slightest extra length in the back makes for a lovely silhouette. Bonus points for being able to wear a regular bra. The perfect dress for a glitzy holiday party. Highly recommend!

This dress is beautiful. It is form fitting and gave me a beautiful shape. There is boning in the front so I didn't even wear a bra! I am 5'4" and the 8L was the perfect length. I am afraid the 8R would have been too short. I received several compliments and someone told me "this dress is made for you! You should buy it." I just might- I loved it!

Wore his gown to a Gala fundraiser. Received many compliments from strangers. Fit really well, length was great! The sequins do rub the inside of the arm (arm pit region) but I didn't start noticing that until after I had been wearing the dress for 5+ hours. I felt great in this dress, so confident and it hid all my "Mommy parts". I would definitely rent it again!

Not forgiving in the bodice and I have a wider ribcage, so the 8 didn't fit. Thankfully I got the 10 so I could breathe! The length was a bit long for me since I didn't wear high heels. I'm 5'8''. Could have done better with the regular length and avoided having to lift up the hem every time I walked in the wet street. Very comfortable and wore for 8 hours dancing and to dinner, after party and after-after party!

This gown is gorgeous. It fit true to size. I am 5.5 and wore low heels and the hem hit the top of my shoes. The dress is comfortable and has some give to it which is nice. The dress sparkles which give it a blue-purple hue and is just stunning. I carry most of my weight in my belly and this was just great for me.

I'm 5'5 and with three inch heels, the 6L dress was a little long but a regular length would have been too short. The sequins were a little itchy under the armpits, but a small price to pay for such a fun dress!

I rented this as a second choice for a black tie winter wedding in which I wanted to be somewhat covered up. The beading is lovely and the dress has an interior corset. I’m a 34B and the top was more blouse-y - the corset was too big so I wore a regular strapless bra underneath. The dress had a flexible fit - meaning it is really only tight around the thigh, so I would choose a fit based on how you normally size pants. It does also have a fitted waist, but once again it’s a little more forgiving. The size 10L was perfect for my proportions. As you can see, it’s just above the floor with a 3 inch heel. I ended up wearing it instead of my first choice! I was initially afraid of it being too matronly but I’m almost 40 so maybe that’s okay! Ultimately, I didn’t think it looked matronly and is definitely glam enough for formal events.

The dress fit perfectly, and it was a stunner for a NYE gala. Not a ton of give in the fabric, but it was true to size. I wore the long after reading reviews and my shoes were 3.5 inches. The back touched the ground just a little more than I wanted but the regular length wouldve been too short for the shoes I was wearing. Great dress! Lots of compliments!

The fit was wonderful, many people said that the dress looked like it was made for me. It was a bit snug around the chest, as said in other reviews, so I decided not to wear a bra. However the lining on the inside made it so that you couldn't even tell. I am 5'4' and about 120 pounds and the length was perfect with tall heels. I wore this for my husbands summer work event, and it was perfect with his tux. We even found a bow tie on Amazon for cheap that matched perfect! I highly recommend this dress!

The Long length was a bit too long but it was all they had. Some high heels did the trick. I loved that I didn’t need a bra bc the built in corset style top. It did not provide lift but held well enough to not feel sag :)

I am usually a 2R and ended up wearing the 4. my rib cage would not allow zipping the 2 up! I could have used a 4L (5’7”) but 4R was ok with shorter heels. The dress was beautiful and suited the purpose perfectly.

The fit was amazing I still felt very comfortable moving in the dress.

Didn’t end up wearing this choice a little scratchy under arms and tight waist but gorgeous style and loved it all the same. More silver and sparkly than blue

LOVED this dress! it fit perfect and was very flattering. Length was perfect. Yes, there is a little rub under the arms after a long evening due to the sequins, but it's worth it! The blue shimmer is what really makes this dress so beautiful. I would order this again.

This was a backup dress and ended up being the best fit. I was able to wear a regular bra. Fit was very comfortable except the sequins and beads caused some redness and irritation under my arms by the end of the night. I would wear this again!

This dress is truly spectacular! Everything about the dress is just perfect-style, proportions, pattern, and beauty of all of the sequins. I wanted to wear this dress before, but my size was out of stock back then. Everyone praised the dress all night-both women and men of all ages. I felt beautiful, and it was easy to wear. I'm 5'1" and wore 3" heels, so the length was just right. I agree with the other reviewers that the sequins do end up irritating under your arms, but it's totally worth it.

I rented this for a conservative wedding, so it's not something I would normally gravitate towards. The neckline and wider straps were beautiful and classy, and I felt super sexy with the fit. It does not have a lot of give, so I was glad I went with the 6R. I'm 5'2, the length hit me just right with 4 1/2" heels on. I'm 130 pounds, athletic build, and a 34 C. I was able to wear a normal bra, which is always a plus. The sequins under the arms did not bother me like some others have mentioned, I think it's really just a personal feel.

The fabric is very stretchy, easy to fit. I wore a Long because this was a last minute replacement, it was too long but I still loved it!

This wasn’t my first choice of dress (I usually order 2 just in case) but I am glad I had it because the other one did not fit me at all. This was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments. I wore a strapless black bra otherwise straps would have been visible.

This dress was awesome!!! Like others said, it rubbed on my underarms, but was ok for the night. Almost every person at the wedding commented on how they liked my dress. Wedding was outside and the sun hit the sequence and made it shine! I felt awesome in this dress. It has some structure around the ribs, which I wasn't expecting, and made it slightly uncomfortable, but I was able to chase toddlers and dance into the night. I would rent again, but maybe in a bigger size to be more comfortable. Unfortunately, the bigger size I ordered as my backup was not available, so that was frustrating. It highlighted my womanly curves just right. Stunning dress for my first RTR. HUGE side note, though, the size 4 was blue sequins and the size 6 was silver. TOALLY DIFFERENT DRESSES!! Picture is the size 6 silver.

Despite the other reviews for this stunning gown, this dressed fit me in all the right places. I'm 5'6" so I wore 4 inch heels which was a great lift from the gown dragging on the ground. (not shown here) I wore this dress to my church anniversary ball and received a lot of compliments.

Gorgeous dress! My husband said it was his favorite RTR yet. The sequins pop a lot more in person than in pictures. I'm a size 2 but the 4 (back up size) fit perfectly. The sequins rub a bit under the arms like I read in other reviews but it didn't bother me. I'm 5"4 and wore 4 in heels and the length was perfect. The zipper stuck a bit at the hip but it wasn't a problem. My favorite detail was the back. There was a nice cut out but I could still wear a bra. Would absolutely rent again.

This dress made me feel glamorous and amazing! It was comfortable and sparkly. I wanted something modest without being frumpy or matronly and this dress was perfect. I'm between sizes 8 & 10, but the 10 was not available...while I think the 10 would have been more comfortable the size 8 worked well.

Loved the dress. Both the 0 and 2 fit but I went with the 0 because it looked more blue and the 2 (even though it was the same dress) looked more black. Short girl approved - I'm 5'2" and needed a 3 inch heel, was still a tiny bit long but not overly so - honestly much better than most floor length dresses I try. The fabric and design felt high quality and I received a lot of compliments.

Fit beautifully! I wore this to a "Puttin' on the Ritz" themed fundraiser gala for the arts. I received so many compliments! In normal lighting, the sequins look silver, not blue. I am 5' 10 and wore a 3" heal. I would have liked the dress to have been 1" longer, but it was otherwise perfect!

Hi ladies. Im 5"2 and wore 4inch heels. I'm about 142lbs right now so... the 6L fit as shown. It was almost too short. So get the long like I did. I wouldn't rent this if you are taller than me unless you like your ankles showing. I didn't wear a bra since it was thick and had boning. I needed my husband to zip it up. It was tough. I thought it would be too matronly but it was perfect for my occasion. It shimmers no matter where you are and at what angle. It's black and a little silver but in photos here it seems to show a blue tone. I didn't see that at all. It's lined. Naturally everyone liked it because RTR has great dresses! I liked how it sucked in all my gut fat. I feel like this dress would be good for anyone. You can make it sexy, classy or modest depending on your hair, makeup and shoes. The back is really pretty and my back fat rolls were totally hidden. Haha!

Loved this dress! Wore it for a charity gala. It was actually my second choice, but ended up fitting better. I'm 5'11" and typically wear a size 10, ordered and wore a 10L.

It fit very well. I'm a little hippy but it wasn't a tight fit, just fitted and showed my curves nicely. And I'm 5'4" and I used 1 1/2 inch heels and the length was fine! Soo many compliments! Loved it!

I was so happy with this dress! I'm 5'4" 127lb and the 4R was a perfect fit. The 6R would have also worked but it did feel a bit loose and heavy. Was comfortable except for scratches from the sequins under my arms by the end of the night. Received so many compliments. The length was PERFECT for me who doesn't wear very high heels. It barely swept the ground wearing 2 inch heels. If you're taller than 5'4" and wear higher heels, I'd recommend a Tall length for you. I'd rent again for sure.

I rented this for a black tie wedding and it was beautiful. I'm 5'0 and curvy and was a bit nervous on the fit. I wore 4" heels and the length was perfect with just a little train in the back. It was surprisingly light weight for the amount of details on the dress. It has a built in corset which was nice. The only flaw was the back was open showing the corset piece so I just pinned it. The clasp in back was also loose and kept opening but again just used a safety pin.

Normally my daughter wear' either a 2 or a 4 depending on the style. She is petite 5'4 about 118. She wore the 2 and it was perfect. It was important to her that we didn't get 'fast fashion' and find something either at a thrift store or something fair trade. After doing research we found RTR and were so excited! HIGHLIGHTS: 1.) There is a brick and mortar in SF, we went and tried on several dresses & my daughter fell in love with this. She loves the classic/timeless look & I think she pulled it off! 2.) The staff in SF was wonderful & we were able to order right then. 3.) THEY SEND YOU AN ALTERNATE SIZE JUST IN CASE!!! THIS WAS SOO GREAT! 4.) They sent us notification the day the dress was shipped - the dress came on the day expected! 5.) The dress was so beautiful, there was no smell, no wrinkles, nothing wrong with the dress at all. It was perfect. 6.) After Senior ball we packed the dress in the wonderful bag provided, stuck the return label in the special slot and dropped it off at Fed Ex. OH MY GOSH! THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE. I have told everyone I know about RTR & will continue to show people the website & brag about this great find. We WILL be back.
