This dress is long for me (I'm 5'3) I wore really high heels (5 inch) and it looked stunning.

My sister in law and I booked a RTR appointment in Chicago for a wedding. We had a blast at the appointment and found perfect dresses for a black tie wedding. I loved this dress so much! The fit was perfect and I got compliment after compliment all night. It was comfortable and glamorous. I would rent again and highly recommend!

It fit perfectly, I am tall and have trouble finding long dresses that actually cover my feet! And this dress in the Long size did just that. The material was comfortable and flattering. I was in Florida so the only downfall was that I was rather warm when I was outside, but that's my fault more than the dress haha. I didn't want to send this back, because it was so perfect!

I loved the back of the dress, overall was so beautiful, everyone complemented it, and it was perfect fit for me I am 5'3 and 110 lbs.

The fit was great! I was able to wear a regular bra (you have to make sure to check that your straps don't show). It was a very comfortable dress while still looking very formal.

Went to a very conservative wedding and this is the perfect dress! Totally covered up in such a classy way and the color is so pretty! Definitely beats purchasing a dress that would just sit in the closet. Photographs very well but I made sure to be straight to the camera versus any other angle.

Beading on the side is much better in person. I didn't wear spanx and found the material quite forgiving. Also, I think this dress runs true to size if you want comfortable. However, I could have easily worn the 6 for a curve-hugging look. Others said that the R was too short, but I wore the 8R and thought it was the perfect length with just a bit of shoe peeking out. I would think 5'9" would need the 8L. I am a 34D and the bust was perfect. Material is a bit heavy. Classy and perfect for a night wedding.

This dress had such a forgivable fabric and fit--drapey but thick enough to not show lumps and bumps (with spanx underneath and pasties). Bonus points for gingers wearing this--the dark green was perfect for red hair. The 0P was a tad too long on me but I'm also just shy of 5 feet tall so for petite woman who are a bit taller than that this dress will be perfect with tall heels.

I am a 5'10, size 18, plus size hours glass shape, so I wore the 18L It was perfect! The fabric was comfortable, forgiving so it looked better than I thought! The color is really eye catching. It is an amazing dress. I would buy this dress. Hint Hint-RTR when can I buy it?

I loved everything about this dress! I rented this for my senior prom and received compliments all night. It's simple, yet show stopping. I would highly suggest renting a size or two up depending on your figure. I typically wear a 4, but ended up wearing the 2R. The dress is not extremely tight fitting and I even had some breathing room.

I can't say enough about this dress. I wish I could have kept it forever. This dress was truly the most beautiful, perfect gown I have ever seen. From the fabric, the rich green color, the detailing, the back of the gown - everything about it was perfect. I received so many compliments throughout the night and also for days after. The fit of this dress is true to size. I originally ordered the 0 regular in hopes that the gown would fit tight enough to pull it up. I am short and was worried it would be too long. The 0 was damaged therefore I received my back up size 2R. The length was perfect somehow. It was like it was tailor made just for me. Although there were little things such as some spots on the one sleeve, and some sequins/beading that was missing - no one knew it but me. I love this dress and I was so sad dropping it off at the UPS drop box. I didn't want to let it go.

Don't rent this unless you're comfortable being noticed! When everyone is wearing black or other neutrals, this is a stand out! It was perfect for a late January formal event. The sleeves and open back make this warm enough for the walk from the car to be bearable but not too hot to wear indoors. My dimensions are above and the regular length was long enough to wear 4 inch heels and have the dress just graze the floor in front and have a tiny drag in back. Perfect length to me. A regular bra would have worked, but you'd have to be vigilant about the straps creeping out. Maybe if the shoulders fit you tighter than they did me it wouldn't be a problem, but the shoulders wanted to drop off my shoulders (didn't actually, but could have, my shoulders are narrow) and that allowed the straps to show on me. So I had to switch to a long-line, low back bra at the last minute, and that meant the base of the bra around my waist showed a bit. Spanx are def a must for anyone w any body fat. But once you're smoothed out, this would flatter a wide range of body types because it hugs existing curves and creates them where they're lacking. Dress was a stunner! Very Art Deco! Classy and sophisticated. Great for an hourglass figure. This dress is all woman. Definitely need Spanx!! You can't hide nothing in a dress that fits that good. It is a beautiful shade of emerald green. The decals on the side are beautiful. As far as jewelry goes I went with Art Deco style as well. The only con is it is a tad long but not to terrible bad.

Fit like a glove. Normally in-between 6-8 but only had 8 and it fit lovely. I am 5'7, and had to wear flats because the dress was too short for heels, which was a bummer but it was beautiful none the less! Literally people stopped me all night asking about my dress, even strangers. Chic, comfortable and my first (but now not last) RTR experience!

I was really worried about sizes since my back up size was vastly different than the size I wore. I'm super short, and always get petite but this dress was only available in a 12P, all others were regular. So when it fit, I was so happy I didn't have to walk in heels all night long. Wore this gown with flat sandals and you couldn't even see my toes. I got compliments all night long and I was in love with this dress! I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone with this dress! Perfect! I probably could have gone down a size, and been just fine.

I wore the smaller of two sizes that I ordered and it fit like a dream. It was a little bit too long, but I could have worn slightly higher heels. It was really nice that the dress didn't need to be steamed or ironed, possibly because of the fabric but also it came packed in a garment bag.

I was nervous about the length of a 6R after reading other reviews - I thought it would be much too short with heels on. I am 5'5.5" and was able to wear about a ~ 1.5" heel with no problem. I usually do wear higher heels but you can definitely wear a heel in this gown if you are around the same height. The gown touched the ground and you could only see the toe of my shoes when I walked. I wore a 6 (my normal size) with no issues. It was very comfortable and fit great. The sleeves are kind of long but I liked that detail. I received so many compliments on the dress and I, as well as several others, loved the color - this is a great alternative if you always wear black.

I normally wear a 4, but ended up going with the 6L (would definitely recommend getting the longer option if you are on the taller side). The 6 was slightly loose around my waist, but the 4 would have been too tight so I'm happy I went up in size. The dress is a beautiful emerald green, and a regualr strapless bra worked perfectly with it. Would definitely recommend for a formal occasion!

I wore this to a holiday charity ball I attended with coworkers. I was worried the 2 would be too loose in the chest, but it was perfect with a padded bra. This accentuated my body without making me feel self conscious-it's sophisticated and subtly sexy. I thought it may accentuate my hips, but the fabric skimmed over them and photographed great. I took a leap of faith ordering this and was so glad I did! It's bold but not too out there. The perfect holiday dress!

Fit perfectly, very comfortable! Had to do the photo showing the back, as the front view was just meh (at least for me, in photos). Color is amazing and the dress manages to be very sexy while also super classy. Nicest dress I've ever worn, wedding included!

This was for a black tie event in December in Minnesota, so the material and the longer sleeves made it perfect for the season. The details on the hips hit at the perfect spot and accentuate them for a figure flattering look. I absolutely loved the movement of the dress too when walking around. I was very glad I ordered a long, it hit the floor with heels and had a little extra fabric at the bottom, but I think a regular would have been too short and I am 5'6. I could have gone with the size 2L but the 4L was much more comfortable so that's what I went with. I received several compliments on how stunning this dress was and they loved the back. I wore a regular strapless bra which I had no issues with. So glad I picked this gown!

The material has some give/stretch which is always a plus! Be sure to really check the length and what shoes you plan to wear, thought I needed the long but ended up being MUCH too long with my 5 inch platform stilettos (luckily I packed double sided stick tape- no one knew I "hemmed" it). I believe who ever wore my particular dress before me had torn some of the lining by the zipper causing the dress to "twist" throughout the night so the details were not both perfectly on each side. The sleeves were perfect for the chilly evening. I wore spanx just to be sure everything looked perfectly smooth. The back was beautiful and not too low that I could have worn a normal bra but opted for a strapless so there was no chance of tacky straps throughout the night. Also wasn't too low to make me self-conscious or feel inappropriate. I was very comfortable in this beautiful dress. The color is stunning and exactly what I wanted. I had ladies asking me all night about my dress, that they wished they were wearing it, and even chasing me to the elevator to ask me about it. Perfect pick for a Marine Corps Ball... especially my first and ending up being proposed to by the most amazing man! Thank you RTR for helping me look fabulous!

This dress is perfect. Pictures do not do the beadwork justice. Everyone loves this dress. I am tall and I ordered the long which was appropriate with small kitten heels. Fabric does show all curves, I had on a stick on bra and you could see the outline when up close but not obviously noticeable. The back makes the dress. So much drama.

My pictures don't do this dress justice. I wore this to a charity ball, black tie preferred. Everyone I talked to absolutely loved this dress and commented on the beautiful color. "Stunning," was the word used over and over about this dress. My measurements for comparison purposes: Bust - 36, waist - 28, hips - 38 Some tips: I'm busty, so I wasn't comfortable wearing a nu bra as recommended. I went with a corset and wore the straps (make sure there's no boning on the cups or it'll show!). The back isn't as low as the model's pic makes it seem, but you definitely need a bra that has a lower back. Also, I opted for side-swept hair so that it could take up some of the "real estate" on my chest. Black hematite dangle earrings with fringe finished it off. For jewelry, you can go with silver, dark gray, or black hematite. I would stay away from gold or diamond. The dress has a little edge to it because of the beading, so bridal jewelry might be a little too traditional. I went with silver shoes because I couldn't find a darker gray. As for sizing, I usually wear either a 6 or an 8, so I ordered both and the 8 fit perfectly.

This dress was a show stopper! Sexy, but conservative. Loved the color, the details, and the fit. Extremely comfortable. I ordered the 2L and 4L. I could have worn either size, but the zipper on the 2 was tricky. When I first tired on the dress I felt like it was too short, but I think it just needed to be hung so all the wrinkles could fall out. I'm 5'6 and I wore 3.5 inch heels and the length ended up being perfect! I have never received more compliments! Wonderful dress!!!

I wore the 6R because I was going to a formal affair and did not want to show off too much curve in the dress, but the 4R would of probably been a better fit as the sleeves on the 6 were very baggy on me. I am only 5 4' and I could pull off 3 1/2 in heels but if I was any taller I would of had to wear flats - so if you are tall, order a Long. But the color and detail on the hips was just beautiful! I was able to wear a normal bra with straps and had no problem all night with them showing in the back. Really loved the dress and got so many compliments all night, sad to be sending it back.

Dress runs a little small, wish I had ordered a size larger than my normal size so it wouldn't have been quite so tight. But it was stunning on and everyone loved it! Hard to wear with a normal bra because the back is a little low.

The stylists at RTR Chicago helped me choose this beautiful dress for a fall wedding. I was worried the regular size would be too short, but it was perfect even wearing mid size heels. And I was able to wear a regular bra which was a bonus! Thank you RTR Chicago!

This dress was amazing! Received nothing but compliments all evening. Unfortunately, the long ended up being damaged/delayed by the previous renter and therefore had to wear the regular length. RTR went out of their way to send me a different dress, but I still ended up wearing the 0R! Thanks RTR for the great customer service. Anyways, back to the dress, it was very comfortable and the material was thick, which helped keep me warm. As mentioned in other reviews, definitely wear with a Nubra as the back is a bit low. Would rent again!

RTR Experience: My experience with RTR was not that great. I was suppose to receive the dress the day before the event, but it never came. I tried calling RTR, however, they were already closed for the day. I then reached out to UPS and they said I could pick up at their location (which is kind of a hassle). Once I received the dress I only had one size and I did order two (why wouldn't you it's free and just in case), but only one size showed up. I told RTR this and they basically said, sorry, we don't think you did. Make sure you triple check this just in case you are between sizes. Luckily, the size that was in there fit but if it didn't then I would have been out of luck. Dress Details: Now to the dress, the dress was a nice fabric and a little stretchy. I usually wear a size 2 and it the dress fit pretty close to a 2. The detail on the hips gives you a little more shape. I'm 5'4 and I ordered the regular length, but it was still fairly long. The back drapes in the back and I wore a strapless bra. Overall, the dress was a nice fabric and fit pretty true to size....I received a lot of compliments.

I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner. Everyone was super skeptical when I chose a green dress for this event, but they understood why when it arrived. Beyond beautiful. Fits very well and the open back is phenomenal.

I ordered a size 4L and 6L. The 4 fit well, but I think I could have even worn a 2. I'm 5'7" and wore 4" heels, and the length was great. The color is beautiful and perfect for a fall event.

I rented this for a anniversary party. I received complaints weeks after the event. It was unforgettable ! The ladies at the Chicago location store picked it out for me. It was great fit and easy to wear.

I wish I had gotten a better picture of this dress. It was beautiful. The details on the sides were very pretty in person, but didn't show very well in pictures. It had a low back, but wasn't completely backless, I wore a backless bra with it. I am 5'4" and I was able to wear heels with it, without it being too short. The sleeves were a bit long and they were fairly loose so I felt like they got in the way at times in the night. The fabric was stretchy and comfortable.
