LOVED this dress. I have a long torso so the "waist" hit a little high but it's very forgiving. Had to chose the 8P instead of the 6R (I think because of me and my current weight versus dress sizing). Super pretty color and great for an outdoor formal wedding by the water -- heavy enough to keep the dress down, but comfortable and cool enough to feel great. LOVE the cap sleeves and the details on top!

I loved this dress. It is elegant and simple but the detailed shoulders ensure that it is not boring. I typically wear a 6 which did fit but I went with the 8 because it was a little longer.

I am very short & always have a hard time with the length on any dress. I ordered a petite & the length was still a little long but the skirt was loose enough that the extra length was not a problem. I had no problem walking or dancing. The zipper would not go up past the middle so I had to zip it first then squeeze in it. This dress was amazing! Beautiful color. Very flattering.

I wore this for a formal wedding. Despite unseasonably hot weather (90+ degrees) the dress was so comfortable. I got lots of compliments and the length was perfect. It doesn't look like much in the hanger, but worth the rental. There's a little bit of stretch and the weight of the material made it hang really beautifully. I added a sparkly belt at the bride's request and to help define the waist a little, but would have been perfect without.

This dress oozed "villain" to me, especially with the bedazzled neckline area evocative of Ursula's tentacles or Snow White's Evil Queen collar. It was sleek, sophisticated, fit perfectly, and thank goodness for the petite size to have it run the right length with my 3" heels. I didn't need to worry about tripping all night. Since it is relatively unforgiving in the hip/stomach area, I did have to wear spanx underneath. But the fabric is stretchy, and I felt comfortable enough to sit or dance.

I rented this for prom since I was class sponsor and lead hostess for prom. I wanted to feel fancy and this dress was perfect! It was a tad big in the chest area but overall a great fit! The length was perfect, I'm 5'4'' and it hit right at the ground without shoes, added my wedges in and you could see them but it was ok because I wasn't tripping all night nor being stepped on. I could move comfortably and it was a beautiful color!

This dress was great (a beautiful royal purple color) and the whole RTR experience was easy. It arrived in time for me to try on. I got the 10 regular and the 10 petite. I was nervous bc they were out of the size 12 so I was hoping the 10 would fit. And it did perfectly! I did wear spanx with this dress just to give a smooth silhouette. The petite length was great too. I wore low 1" heels and was comfortable the whole night. Returning was easy too. Just switch the shipping labels and off to ups!

Very forgiving and easy to wear. A very lucky second choice! I am 5'4" and wore the petite with a low heel, perfect!

This was an unexpected find! The original one I ordered did not look good one me - thankfully I live in nyc and could get to the store to try on some options and I fell in love with this one. Comfortable and flattering, and unexpected!

This dress was perfection. The waist sits at the high waist so it accentuates the hip and waistline. The shoulders are attractive without being overpowering. It would've been just as suitable at a black tie event as it was at opening night of the ballet. It has good thick fabric so it hangs smartly and the ruffling st the bottom makes it easier to walk in. Slight train off the back was trod upon by unaware bystanders but it was perfect for my height in 110mm heels.

I can't say enough good things about this dress - it is AMAZING. It's comfortable, the color is gorgeous and the fit was perfect. The extra fabric in the chest was perfect for a larger busted woman but would be flattering on someone with a smaller bust as well. I had so many compliments on this dress, I'd love to rent it again!

I got this dress because my backup size was suddenly unavailable and one of the stylists picked this out for me. I never would have picked it myself, but I ended up loving this piece. The color was great for my skin and the cut was perfection. It looked like it was tailor made for me even when I sat down. I am 5'5", 142 lbs. My measurements are 34/26/39 (true pear shape). I am wearing 3" heels in the photo. It ended up being a little more formal than I was comfortable with for an 85 degree wedding day, but I really hope I get to rent this and wear it some day.

I wore this gorgeous gown to an industry formal banquet. I try to be very modest about sleeveless/ low cut/ low back to my company events. This dress made me feel so glamorous and sexy without showing off skin. It was perfect for my event and probably my favorite dress I've ever worn! I received countless compliments. It did fit snug, and I would recommend Spanx for sure. But it was stretchy so you could move or even get out and dance.

The dress fit perfect! What amazes me is that there wasn't one wrinkle in the dress when it arrived in the mail, nor was there any wrinkles when the day was over. Great dress!

The fit was pretty much perfect and the dresses arrived on time. It felt really elegant and like it had some give if I ate a lot and needed extra space. The beading looked beautiful and the dress was in great condition. I also got confused about when I was supposed to return it. I emailed customer service asking if I could return it a day late because I hadn't read the instructions right, and they said it was no problem. So I returned it a day late with no additional fee. The instructions for mailing it back are really easy to follow. Overall great experience!

This gown is great for a formal event or even a bridesmaid option! The material is thick, however, not so forgiving as it shows every bump and curve. Therefore, I would plan to wear spanks if you'd like. The shoulder detailing is beautiful and so elegant. The color is more violet and rich. Definitely a beautiful rental.

I got a 10R and it fit perfectly. I'm 5'5" 155lbs. It would have been too long if I didn't wear ~2 1/2in heels (I am wearing the heels in the picture). It was so comfortable! Didn't want to take it off. I also rented a pair of earrings to go with the dress which was the best decision ever. Definitely recommend that, especially a style that gets suggested to you before checkout.

Gorgeous color and fit. I'm 5'2 and 118 pounds. Could gotten away with the 0 but the 2 was much more comfortable. Compliments all night! RTR never lets me down! This is The second time I have rented this one because I loved it so much :)

This was one of my backup dresses, and it worked out perfectly. I'm short, so I probably shouldn't have gotten it in 'petite' instead of 'regular', but other than that, it fit just great!

This is a wonderful dress and it fits great! The fabric falls nicely and it is easy to walk in. No problems sitting or getting in/out of cars. I wore the petite size only because the dress is slightly long and I wanted to wear flats. If I had chosen to wear heels, the regular size would have been perfect.

I am 5 feet 4 inches. I have a 36DD bust and I almost always wear a size 12. I rented a 12 regular and my backup was a 14 petite. I got the 14 just in case my bust wouldn't fit. I wore the 12 with a regular minimizer bra and it fit great with room to spare. You couldn't see my bra straps through the sleeves. This dress is a deep purple and the sleeves are purple also, not black like I thought from the photos. It fit true to size. I didn't even bother trying on the smaller size. It fell just above my feet in heels and there is a little tiny trail in the back which I wasn't aware of before I rented it. I really liked it though. I rented this gown for a black tie event with The Young Women's League. The dress was lined well and looked like a run-way gown. I was very satisfied with it.

I initially ordered the 6R and 8R because that's my general size renting/wearing normal clothes. Both fit length wise but were too tight for comfort. This gown ran like a wedding dress. I then ordered 10R & 12R- this was the 10! Length was perfect with heels, sleeves hung just right! I danced, sat for the ceremony and through dinner... so comfortable the entire time!! I received numerous compliments on this dress, wish I could wear it again!!

I wore this to a gala and danced for hours. I was surprised I fit in the size 4. Normally I'm closer to a 6 or an 8, but the 4 worked for a last minute option. It's hard to see the beautiful detail on the shoulders, but it makes it that much more stunning. The other thing I was surprised about was how the waist of the dress hit mine. I have a very short torso and this can cause issues with dresses, but this worked perfectly. Definitely recommend getting this dress. I wanted to own this dress it was so beautiful and so comfortable.

This dress is true to size. It fit comfortably and was easy to sit in. My only regret is not ordering the 2L to wear. I'm 5'5" and the dress just barely touched the floor. Luckily, I had some flats to wear. I'd recommend the long for anyone 5'4" and taller who want to wear a heel with it. I loved the color!

I loved this dress! :) I wore it for a formal fundraising gala, and it was so comfortable and flattering. It made me feel so beautiful, and the length was perfect. I would definitely rent it again!

This was a great fit! I'm 5'2" and wore a 3"heel, the length of the 4P was perfect. I'm about 125lbs, 34C, with more of an athletic build. The dress drapes very nicely as the material is fairly heavy. You can wear a regular bra with this dress, the straps will not show through the beading on the sleeve.

The arm holes in the size 12 showed my bra. Size 10 took care of that. Both dresses needed two people to move the zipper either way. I could not have dressed alone. You can wear a "normal" bra. The beaded shoulders made the decision for me to wear my hair up, no necklace needed. I wore 2" heels, perfect length. Everyone loved the dress and if they asked where I got it, I was excited to tell them about RTR. Even my son (groom) said "you look awesome".

The fit was amazing. I ordered a 6R and 4R just to be safe and the 4R was perfect! Badgley Mish is very true to size and this dress just fit like a glove. I'm normally a size 6 but evening wear varies, so if you're normally a 6, then I'd order the 4R along with a 6. I'm a bit larger on the bottom than the top so keep that in mind when you order if you are more busty. Otherwise, this dress is 2 thumbs WAY up!

I wore this dress to host the Downton Abbey Season six post-premiere recap show for Masterpiece. I know that's not a typical event, and I had some pretty specific needs: couldn't be low cut, had to be a solid color for the camera, needed a place to clip a microphone. This dress met all of those needs, and was incredibly comfortable (forgiving!) and fit beautifully. I will post additional pics I hope when I get the production pics back!

This dress is so beautiful in person, even better than the picture. It hugs all the curves, but doesn't show the "unwanted" ones. It is true to size and the length with 4" heels couldn't have been better. Touched the ground, but I could walk without needing to pick it up(a first for me)

This was actually a hail-Mary backup after a dress I was supposed to receive couldn't be shipped due to it's previous renter (big thanks to the stylists!). I had to attend a catholic mass-wedding out-of-town followed by a nice reception on the water. I got so many compliments on this dress and I adore the way it moves. I have a fairly large bust (34DD) but they looked subtle. My shape was very apparent, but not vulgar. Love Love Love this dress.

I wore the 2R but typically wear a four. It has a bit of stretch so you are able to dance! Received so many compliments.
