Love, love, loved this dress!!! I wore this dress to a wedding, and it was the hit of the party! I got sooo many compliments on it and I felt amazing all night! I am 5'9" and weigh 130 pounds and I ordered the 2L and the 4L, and I ended up wearing the 2L, it fit like a glove, and made even my straighter frame look a little curvy. I would recommend this dress to anyone who wants to steal the spotlight and feel amazing!

True to size, form fitting in the hip area, so if you are on the hippy side it may not look as sleek as you would like. Beautiful, vibrant color.

please wear a shaper this dress does not forgive true to size but totally worth it. i wish i could have kept this gown. look at how happy i am and confident and excuse the booty picture but the dress also has a vintage style cape its amazing you feel so glam and yeah rent it asap!!!

The dress fit true to size and the color is so beautiful! It is a mermaid fit, so you move slow in the dress, but it gives people more time to notice it!

I rented this dress for my prom and loved it! The rent the runway process couldn't have been easier and this dress was gorgeous. It's very tight fitting so spanx are a must, and i would recommend getting the long if your'e over 5'3". The fabric was thick and stretchy and the color was beautiful. I was comfortable the whole night. I definitely recommend!

I was very nervous about the length because I'm very short and petite, but it was a great fit! It hugged every curve perfectly, yet I could still move around. With about a 3" heel, the length of the 2S was great, with just a little puddle as seen in the picture. Not a fabric expert, but the fabric was surprisingly more like a mesh/jersey material than I was expecting, but it ended up being great as it definitely allowed for some flexibility

Fits true to size, not recommended for bigger busted girls, even the Regular can run a little long for us shorter girls (im 5'2") so def wear 4 in heels or higher, I wore 3 in ones and I had to lift the dress at times. Very flattering, smoothing effect!

the dress was a bit stretchy, so it was pretty comfortable to wear. for my height and with 3 inch heels, it was perfect length. It would be too long otherwise.

This dress is comfortable and flattering. It does run a bit long, but that's nothing some high heels can't fix!

The fit was perfect I did the 4 regular with four inch heels and felt like a superstar. I am 5;7 145 pounds and didn't need the Spanx or strapless bra but it does hug so if those areas are a concern I highly recommend you do what you gotta do. Everyone said how glamorous I looked and I felt every bit of it!

This dress is true to size and fits like a glove. There's a little give in the fabric but not too much. The color is a beautiful teal. The dress is floor length and manageable with 3" heels. Paired this with bold earrings and bracelet cuff.

Not only did I speak with confidence in front of hundreds of prominent Washingtonians, the fundraiser was a huge success, raising over $318,000 to help women, men, and families in need in the DC area gain access to mental health counseling. While the topic wasn't easy to address, I felt confident, secure, and strong, partly due to the fact that I was wearing something beautiful and memorable. It fits like a glove! I'm 5'4 and wore 3inch heels the slight train just brushed the floor (careful climbing and descending stairs) the gown was also easy to dance in. I also carried the Whiting Davis Gold Mesh Clutch which complimented my sparkling gold shoes, bracelets and earrings. Thanks enhancing my beauty and for making the evening so memorable I will definitely be using RTR again!

Ordered a 0 and 2...should have ordered 2 and 4. The 2 fit, but it was snug and the fabric is clingy - may have been more comfortable in a 4 since there was dinner:) I received so many comments - loved the entire outfit! Perfect Mardi Gras Ball dress!!!

I wore this for my brother's wedding and I got lots of compliments. It fit perfectly and I felt very comfortable in it. I'm 5'2" and I wore 4 inch heels and the length was just right. The dress is a little heavy but it wasn't too much of a hassle. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I rented the same dress in black last winter for a black tie wedding. It is definitely a flattering fit... very elegant and lady-like. I have to admit that I liked the black version a little better - it was a bit more stunning, though the teal color of this one was perfect for a black tie event in South Florida!

This was my back-up dress, and it ended up being the one that I wore. I am pretty curvy - and I wore the 4R, and the top was still a little loose (I'm a 34C) - the rest clung to me pretty well. I would not recommend this dress if you are insecure about your stomach. If you have one, you can't hide it in this dress. The color is gorgeous. It was nice to be in a sea of people and not have anyone in the same color as you.

I initially thought I would be able to wear the 0, but I was wrong. I could not even walk in the size 0, but when I tried on the 2L, I felt AMAZING! I new I had made the right choice. I was complimented all night. Don't hesitate, just rent it.

Unfortunately the only pic we got was this cell phone photo that is not very good, but I cannot rave enough about this dress. The color is beautiful, and a bit deeper than in the picture of the model. The jewels on the shoulder are darker silver in color, so I suggest a black or silver clutch to go with it. I was worried about the length since I am only 5'2", as I don't like to wear 4-5" heels, but the length was perfect even with just 3 inch heels. There is a nice train at the back which makes it even more dramatic. I have 2 small children so I was worried about it being too tight in the waist, but it worked fine with spanx. Just be careful of your undergarments, as they must be smooth. If there are noticeable seams that stick out with your undergarments, they will show through. I had to try a few different undergarments to find something that was nice and smooth. The material is so comfortable, I was easily able to dance all night. I wore this to a black tie wedding in NYC and got so many compliments on it, I felt so glamorous!

This dress was perfectly true-to-size. It couldn't have been a better fit if it was designed and hand crafted specifically for me. I wore it as a Correspondent on the Red Carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards and was stopped time and again by people who simply wanted to say that the dress was stunning on me.

This dress fits like a dream. I ordered optimistically, so I still needed 2 spanx to be streamlined, so to speak, but even then I was comfortable. I felt absolutely gorgeous, and my husband couldn't keep his eyes off me. I recommend ordering a size up; you will look just as sexy and still be comfortable. I also recommend the long size for anyone 5'7 or taller. I wore 3" heels and it was exactly the right length. You have to have good posture to keep from stepping on the "train," but you'll look poised and elegant all night. Excellent dress. I wish I could have kept it.

I am 5 ft 8 weighing in at 158lbs. I am normally a size 8/10. I ordered a 10L and an 8L for sizing. The 10L was PERFECT! It had an amazing fit, and I received numerous compliments on the dress all night long. It was snug but not overly tight. I also loved how it wasn't too revealing. Wear this dress to your event, and you WILL be the best looking one there!!

I rented this dress for prom and absolutely loved it. Everything about the dress made me feel like a princess. I got compliments through out the night telling me how great it looked. The only thing you might worry about is the spanx line showing in the front. It's very subtle but being a perfectionist, I noticed.

Two days before the wedding, I was informed that the 4L I ordered was unfortunately no longer available... RTR was very accomodating and selected a few styles for me AND sent this dress (my original choice) in 2L just in case. Thanks to Spanx, I was able to squeeze in. The color of this dress is absolutely beautiful. The shoulder detail and the swoop of the back draping really make this dress elegant. It does run tight, as you can see in the picture, I should have worn the 4 had it been available... but I was in love! I used pewter-toned jewlery - teardrop style earrings, crystal ring and cuff on opposite sides, and pewter Pelle Moda heels. The shoulder detail has small purple beads in it, so I had my makeup done with a dark purple smokey eye. Very flattering style! But expect to show some hip, because the material is stretchy and hugs your curves. The bust area is not as fitted, but I didn't have any problems with it shifting around. I order the L because my heels tend to be 4inches+ and I do like the gown to drape the floor slightly. It looked very nice in pictures, but I sometimes had to lift it to dance and walk up stairs, so the R might have been more suitable for my height, even with tall heels. Hope this helped! I rented this dress for a formal event (black tie optional). I ordered both the 0R and the 2R. Unlike a lot of other reviewers, I thought my normal size (0) was very tight. I'm fairly petite (5'3, 110 lbs) but also very toned / athletic for my size. I could zip up the size 0 but felt it was just too tight in the mid-section and butt area - this is not a dress that is very forgiving, very body conscious. I ended up wearing the 2, even though the top half was a little loose. Like others have mentioned, the color of the dress is darker than the photo makes it look but I love deep, jewel tones. The material was also heavier than I thought it would be but that was a good thing, as my event was in early February. I ended up wearing 4 inch platforms and the dress still dragged in the back but that was because there is a slight train. Received lots of compliments, overall great RTR experience.

I was drawn to this dress because of the color. It did not disappoint! It's a little richer in person. More of a peacock color. The draping was perfect and the little capelette thingy in the back was beautiful. Definitely one of those dresses you need to wear the right undergarments with. I am rather large chested, so the draped fabric in the front fell beautifully.

I wore this dress in January and it was spectacular. The other reviews are 100% honest when they quote, "you will receive many compliments". Definitely had one of the best dresses at the party and definitely received many compliments. I ordered a dress size that I thought would be a tad small (4L as opposed to 6L) given that I had just had a baby four months prior. Thankfully, the stretchy fabric worked wonders and honestly looked wonderful. The dress was just tight enough that it never "fell" towards the end of the night like some reviews have stated. And, it was actually comfortable. The model in this picture doesn't really advertise the dress well; her top is far more narrow than the dress actually looks on a normal person. The dress also wears much more curvy (yes, I had a baby, but I don't look oddly large)...think Kim Kardashian versus Taylor Swift, maybe. Then again, I could be totally wrong! AND, there's a bit of a train in the back, which looks spectacular. It's really a wonderful gown.

I loved this dress!!! I originally picked a size 4L and it was short and baggy, the size 2L fit like a glove!!! I wore it to a black tie christmas gala and received so many compliments. I felt like a movie star, people I didn't know were telling me I looked incredible and asking me about my dress. Very comfortable to wear as well.

I loved this dress and felt very glamorous wearing it. I ended up wearing a size larger than I normally wear because my normal dress size was a bit tight for my liking. The dress itself is not very forgiving - thank goodness for spanks! Also, I ordered the dress in long and it definitely dragged on the floor a bit ... even in 4 inch heels. I received tons of compliments and I'm glad I opted for a vibrant color versus the normal black dress.

Wore this dress to a black tie event and received many compliments. I normally wear a size 10 and was a little scared that it would be small, but it fit perfect and I actually had a little room around the chest. Wore it with simple earrings, and a cuff from here which worked out great.

An absolutely gorgeous dress that hugs your body like a second skin in a flattering and smooth fit. I received nothing but compliments and felt entirely overdressed on the subway, but nothing but appropriate at a very fancy black-tie dinner. The only mild drawback was the ample length (trip hazard), likely as I had selected the "L" size - try the regular next time ? I love Badgley Mischka anyway, but this is one of their best pieces and a dress I would definitely like to own.
