The fit was great- pretty true to size as I'm usually between a 4-6. The 6L was VERY long. I'm 5'10" and it was sweeping the floor on me-- even in 3.5 in heels! For a strapless gown it stayed up really well and wasn't one of those dresses I had to pull up every 5 seconds :). In addition to looking great it was pretty easy to dance in for a long dress. Highly recommend!

I absolutely Loved this dress! And it was Perfect for the wedding!!! The color is just gorgeous! The fit was a bit big in the top, but the 2 was a little too tight, so I went with the 4. Loved every minute of wearing this beautiful dress, and will most definitely be renting this one again!!!

This dress fits amazing given my waist to hip ratio (25:39)--if I actually owned it, I'd have taken a couple of inches off the midsection. Nevertheless, the darting above the bum is a great feature for women shaped like me. I wore 3.5" heels and the dress barely kissed the floor. I wore a strapless bra and had no problem with the fit across my chest--in fact, I prefer a tight fit because I know the dress isn't going to fall down and leave me exposed. I tried on the 4L and it was much looser in the waist and across the hips. My husband loved the dress, I loved the dress...and so did everyone else. I paired the dress with a WHITING & DAVIS Gilded Lattice Clutch in gold, OSCAR DE LA RENTA Marquise Leaf Earrings in aqua, and gold AV MAX Step by Step Cuffs.

The dress is a wonderful color and is a very flattering fit. However, keep in mind that it is a long dress and can drag a bit and get stepped on. It is also a lined dress, so it can get a bit hot if you're dancing or the weather is very warm. Overall, it's a great dress!

The top was definitely "snug" so I had to go without a bra. But the tight fit meant the girls stayed in place all night.

I originally was going to wear a different dress to my best friends wedding but I had this as a back up and the moment I put it on I was in love! The color was absolutely gorgeous and it was so body flattering! The size 4 ran true to size and I didn't have to wear a bra with it. I am 5'6 and the 4R was perfect length with heels on. I got so many compliments on the dress all night!

I wore this dress to a black tie ball. The dress is well made and the color is gorgeous! I wore it with "mystery bling" supplied by Rent the Runway (turquoise earrings). Kudos to the RTR stylists. I'm 5'6" and thought the length was perfect. I received numerous compliments.

I tried to get the blue dress like this one but I ended up with the wrong size. This one in the 10R worked perfectly for me. That is bigger than my normal size, so I recommend going up from your normal size. The color is definitely more purplish/pink than it looks on the model, sort of like a raspberry color in my opinion. And as a redhead, I love that color on me ha ha. The dress has a little stretch to it so that its comfortable when you are standing or sitting. I did end up putting a mermaid petticoat under my dress to make the bottom flare out a little more so that I didn't step on it as much. I am only like 5'4" and was wearing maybe 3" heels and it was still a few inches too long. But like I said, the petticoat helped. My only complaint about the dress is that the zipper is nearly impossible to get up or down even when it's on the hanger. The fabric is so thick around the zipper that I felt like I was going to break the zipper before I was even able to try it on. It really is the type of dress that you need someone else to help get you into and out of it. I was by myself so I ended up having to put it on backwards and shimmy it around forwards... That was exhausting ha ha. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this dress since it was gorgeous, I got so many compliments, and it was comfortable. Just make sure you have someone who can help you with it!

Pretty color and good fit. I rented the 4R and the 6R and decided to go with the 6R mostly because it hooked in the back and the 4R was missing the hook at the top of the zipper. The sizes were pretty similar and the length was good for me - I'm about 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels. I added a NuBra mostly to feel more comfortable that the top wouldn't slip down.

I really loved this dress. The color was so beautiful. The silhouette was so pretty on and really accentuated my curves. The boning in he bodice was very supportive and I didn't need to wear a bra. The dress had two cons for me. It was super long. I'm 5'2" and I wore 4 inch heels and the dress still dragged a lot. I had to pick it up every time I walked, which I didn't mind; but after picking it up so many times the lining stuck to the outer layer of my dress and created visible bulges. I had to constantly pull down the lining to prevent this from happening too much. Overall I'm very happy with this rental for prom. My date loved it and I felt great!

Don't wear in summer if you live in the South as fabric is heavily lined but perfect for spring & fall. Dress color will wk best on those with olive skin & darker hair, in my opinion. 4 stars because the fabric wasn't as forgiving as I thought: I'm hooked on Colombian body under armor (think spanx on steroids) & you could see the hooks from corset thru material. This won't show once lights go down, though. The 10 was somewhat hard to zip up and I didn't feel confident enough to wear without a bra. I opted for 12 even if slightly larger & I used one of those Victoria Secret bras that add 2 cups just so I could pretend to be Jessica Rabbit for the night. If you fit my body type, look for a Nicole miller in nude over black lace on this site. Most elegant, most comfortable & most forgiving.

The dress itself was absolutely beautiful. I loved the color and the silhouette. However, I would not recommend this dress to anyone with a small bust. The dress is very heavy and the top wasn't as tight as it could have been, so I ended up having to safety pin my bra to the dress and use lots of fashion tape. It wasn't the most comfortable, and I had to be careful about how I moved all night. Also, even with 3" heels, the dress was long and I had to hold it up when I walked. Also, there is a lining so when I had to make sure the lining wasn't bunching whenever I didn't need to hold my dress up. So, all in all, a beautiful dress, but for me, it was not a good fit. I was hot in it and couldn't move around comfortably. On the plus side, I felt beautiful and got lots of compliments.

I bought this dress in a size 4R because the 2R was sold out. I did have to alter my dress was 1 size to big. I weight 120 lbs. and my height is 5'4".

I'm 5'6", 127lbs and the size 2 fit perfect! I didn't even bother to try on the 0. I ordered the 0 instead of the 4 as a backup because in two other badgley mischka dresses the 0 was the size I needed, not this one. It has NO give whatsoever. I'm a size 34b if that helps. The color is truly gorgeous.

This dress was fabulous! Ordered the 8R and the 10R as a backup. Ended up wearing the 10R as it fit me looser around my bust area. I'm 5'7" and the regular length was perfect - long enough that it looked elegant but not too long that I'm stepping all over it when walking/dancing.

I am 5'9 I got the 4L and it fit like a glove. I was able to wear comfortable 1.5 inch heels with this dress. I was comfortable all night and felt glamorous at my event. If you are tall I recommend getting the Long--no matter what! :) Thanks, rent the runway!

I rented this dress for a black-tie wedding. When I put on the 4 the bust was a little too tight and the fabric really clung to my thighs so I decided to wear the 6, although then I had to keep pulling it up. But it's an absolutely gorgeous dress and color really pops in photos!

This was a replacement dress when the one I ordered didn't meet my expectations. RTR's customer service was fantastic (as always) and they over-nighted me this beauty. Even the caterers and servers went out of their way to tell me how stunning I looked and how fantastic the dress was. My only complaint is that the 0L was too long: I am 5'8, wore 3'' heels, and the dress still pooled on the floor about 2 inches in the front and I had quite the train in the back. Because of the length, it was cumbersome to move in- and forget dancing! However, I highly recommend this gown for any formal event, and would rent again in a 0R. It has beautiful movement and a soft, secure fit- enough stretch to be comfortable and enough structure in the bust to stay up. It is elegant and the color is a show-stopper! If you find the dress falling down- wear a smaller size! My husband had to zip me up, but once I was in, it was a perfect fit and stayed up nicely.

It's very true to size. However, the 10R zipper was funky so I wore the 12 and it definitely was too loose on top. I wore it for a shameless 30 birthday shoot so I wasn't too upset about it but it would've been an issue if there was dancing.

The dress was very comfortable. With the ruching around the waist (and the help of my spanx) I didn't feel like I had to suck in my stomach all night which was nice. I'm not very tall, 5'4, but with 4 inch platform wedges the dress was the perfect length. You couldn't see my shoes so I chose the most comfortable pair I owned. I didn't need a bra which was also really nice. The only bummer was that the wedding we attended was SO hot and the dress was double lined so I was sweating like crazy. It would be great for a cool, indoor event. :)

It's a nice dress. The color is lovely and I liked the simple cut, but the boning definitely bit into me after awhile. Also my bust size is a 30DD, but that's not an option.

This dress does run a little bit big. I ordered a size 4 with size 2 as a backup. I ended up wearing the 2, and even that had a little bit of extra room. I probably would have gone with a 0 if I had it. Also. I ordered a regular length thinking it would be too long, but the length ended up being perfect!

I'm athletic so it was a bit tight in the shoulders and getting the zipper up. Couldn't wear undergarments because it was so fitting especially on the bottom half. Absolutely beautiful dress otherwise. Long was perfect length with heals!

This dress was not my original choice. My original choice was ruined by the previous renter. RTR has the most amazing customer service! They sent me 5 dresses to choose from unfortunately none of them worked. I called and they sent me two more dresses. I ended up wearing this one to my nieces black tie wedding and received endless compliments the entire evening. The color was just amazing. The silhouette was gorgeous, the sweetheart neckline, the mermaid style, everything was just amazing about this dress. I usually wear a size 8 but ended up ordering the 10L. The 10 fit perfect. It was a little long and I wore 4 inch heels. I am 5 ft 6 in tall. If you are under 5'6 definitely order the regular or you will be dragging the dress the entire evening. The dress has a bit of a flare on the bottom as well as a train which I did not realize. A few times I was mistaken for being in the bridal party but I did not mind because the dress was gorgeous! I paired it with pewter/gun metal toned jewelry and shoes and it looked amazing. I do have a mommy tummy and while it wasn't a wonderful camouflage the color made up for it.

Dress was light weight and I loved the fit. I bust was a little tight but I needed the size 0 for my body. Loved it.

I will start by saying that anything that happened was not really the fault of the dress. The zipper decided to malfunction the day of the event. I was really bummed out. The dress itself looked incredible. It's a very heavy cotton, so it is rather hot in the southern heat we were in, but it's not overwhelming hot thanks to the jersey. This dress is also a super fantastic color. It looked great on my pasty and would probably look great on most anyone. I'm between a 12 and a 14, and the 12 fit no problems. The boning did poke a bit on my ribcage on the bottom part. Like I said, other than the malfunction, the dress was incredible. I just wish I'd taken pictures the first time I got it on, and I may even rent it again just because.

Shipping was fast, I received it one day before the scheduled delivery. Fit was a little tighter than I would have expected, especially because the material had some stretch to it. I am 5'4" and with 3 1/2 inch heels on, the length was perfect. The boning on the top part was sticking me all night. Overall, a lovely dress!

I was excited to wear this dress! The color was bold and beautiful. Standing at 5 feet, this dress was super long. My usual size is 10 but I couldn't pull the zipper past the chest part. Luckily there was the back up size! Although the 12 fit up top, the bottom was looser than I liked. Didn't accentuate my assssset if you know what I mean! Overall I still got tons of compliments. Great for hour glass shapes. Loved my first RTR experience!

I needed stilts for this dress. I ordered the regular length dress and it was ridiculously long. Do not order unless your at least 5'5".

I thought it was beautiful color but neither the 2 or 4 would zip for me. I am relatively bigger busted (34D) so that may have had something to do with it. For some reason I also just didn't love this look on me.

I found that the fabric of this gown was too heavy for its construction. The volume of the bottom pulled on the top/torso, which made it hang in an unflattering way. I wouldn't recommend this dress.
