Super flattering! I am 5'0 and I wore the petite. With 4" heels it was close to the perfect length. Highly recommend. I didn't need a bra with this, but most probably would.

I needed a dress for prom, but didn't want to have it sitting in my closet for 10 years. This dress fit me so well and complimented my body perfect. It matched my chartreuse accent shoes and jewelry. Many compliments! Overall 10/10

I am usually a 2R, but it seemed a little big on the sides and the back went way too low, so they sent me a 0R as well and it fit perfectly! The dress looks so much better in person, especially on someone with curves. It really is a snug but flattering fit! I needed tall heels because there is a bit of a train which I had to keep holding so no one would step on it, but I felt so amazing and I got compliments all night! The fabric is stretchy and comfortable and breathable and I felt beautiful.

The fits is true to size. It's more of a jersey material. It's form fitting yet leaves a little to the imagination. I rented this dress as a last minute resort for a military ball and it was a huge hit. I'm 5'7 and the dress came down to my ankles. However, the train is a little log so I had to hold it while walking. Love love love this dress!!!

This dress was a hit! I kept getting compliments. I wore it to attend a sweet 16 where all wore black. This dress stood out with the open back and details on the hips. I wore a backless bra. Also the dress was a bit long even though I wore 4 inch heels but all around it was great, I would rent again!

The dress fit perfectly, from the length (which still covered my shoes well) to the bust fit where I didn't need to wear a sticky bra. The fabric moved well, was soft and comfortable and hugged my curves in the right places (I have a smaller waist but large hips so this dress fit it well). The back was absolutely stunning and draped beautifully and overall the dress was lightweight for being so formal and long which was great for dancing and moving around. I felt amazing in this dress and it was perfectly matched to the formal event (black tie) that I attended. Would definitely recommend this dress and would love to wear it again.

I'm 5'9 and wore 4inch heels, and the length was perfect. I normally wear a 6-8, so I think it runs a bit big. I wore it with black pumps, but wish I had done a different shoe. I was worried that a sparkly shoe would be too much with the sparkly detailing, but something strappy would have been perfect. I also wore spanx and a NuBra. Make sure any undergarments are seamless because this dress shows everything and takes effort to lay flat because the lining is a little clingy.

Fit and cut were perfect- fabric is very comfortable, and giving. Luckily the 6 fit, the 8 was just looser and longer but the zipper was broken so I would've been in big trouble! The dress was supposed to arrive Thursday but UPS was delayed and I didn't get it until 9pm Friday night for Saturday event. It all worked out and I received TONS of compliments! I would definitely rent this dress again! I felt like a princess!

The details of this dress are very well balanced. The beading is eye-catching but not gaudy, and the open back looks sexy and sophisticated. It was also incredibly comfortable. The fabric is very forgiving; there is a lot of stretch in the material, and movement was easy. I wore the dress with 3.5 inch heels and the length was perfect. My only note would be to be conscious of sizing. I normally wear a 2, but this dress runs a little large, either by cut or the stretch of the fabric. The dress was not snug enough to prevent the weight of the train in the back from pulling the neckline of the dress back against my neck. But otherwise, a stunning dress.

Loved wearing this dress. I rented this last minute form the RTR store. They only had a long available but I love the overall fit that I just used the fashion tape. Dress is so flattering. The only trick is to make sure you have the nudebar.

This dress is stunning! I was hoping to rent the petite length, but it was unavailable, so I got the regular length. Even with 4" heels, it was dragging a little on the ground. Everything else about this dress was amazing! The back!! So hot!

Dress was very comfortable, good length for my 5'2" height-didn't require a high heel as I wore 2” pumps. Dress has a small train adding to the formality. Received many compliments and would recommend this for a formal event.

Fit was true to size, super comfortable. Didn't need a bra (even though I was prepared with a backless one). forgiving in the stomach area. Easy to wear and made me feel just the right amount of sexy for my age and the occasion. Beautiful!

First of all, I want to say that I have been a RTR customer since April 2016 and have now rented 5 selections from them and have not been disappointed yet. The Pro membership has been the best investment that I have made regarding attire. I have saved so much money and time not going out to buy gowns or outfits or jewelry or accessories and I am truly grateful for this service! I rented this Badgley Mischka black Emmy gown for a military ball I attended on December 2nd. I was the MC for the event and wanted to look my best but also appropriate as it was a work function in which my boss and other people I work with would see me there. The dress was the perfect balance of class and sexy. I rented two sizes, a 4P and a 2P as a backup size after reading the reviews suggesting to size down. The 2P was not available so RTR sent me two other gowns to try on but neither one fit me. They were both too small. Many thanks anyway RTR! Ultimately, I went with the 4P. For me, the Petite was a better option over a Regular or a Long since I wanted to kick off my heels later in the evening for dancing and to help with cleanup for the event. With choosing a Petite, I didn't have to worry about the dress dragging or folks stepping on it mistakenly. The material of the dress is super comfortable but backless so you must go braless unless you have backless bra cups or petal tops to cover your nipples which I purchased from RTR back in April when I first joined. Since I misplaced my backless bra cups, I decided to go braless and only use the petal tops and that turned out to be perfect. Because the dress holds well over your arms and doesn't slip, you can feel confident that you don't have to worry about it falling off and you being exposed. Also, I gained weight and have a little bit of a tummy and wanted to wear spanx but none of them worked with this dress because of the low back or because the lower waisted spanx cut my tummy and gave me a bulge so I decided not to wear spanx at all. Instead I wore regular panties but I would recommend seamless underwear or a thong because lines of every kind show when you wear this dress. If you are very slim or fit, size down like the reviews suggest. If the 2P was available I may have ended up wearing that one instead as the 4P was a little big in the back and hip area. I also rented the recommended earrings that RTR suggested and wore 3 in black suede pumps with a silver heel from Zara to accentuate the silver beading on each side of the dress. This dress has a small train that gives the dress drama and really makes you stand out! I received so many compliments on the dress and I really felt great and comfortable throughout the evening. I would highly recommend this dress!

The fitting of the dress is amazing. perfect for square body shape ! I feel dress added curves to my hips and created a more defined waist. The back is opened but strategically hides the parts you Don't want to show. If you are taller that 5'1 order the Regular length. I am 5'1 and the Petite was showing a little bit my shoes.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress.. It fit perfectly, I felt wonderful in it, and I loved everything about it. You do have to be aware that it does drape down pretty low in the back so plan your bra selection around that. Other than that, it was amazing. It stretched enough in the right places and was clingy in all the right places. The little bit of very tasteful beading it does have is exquisite. I wanted to keep this dress forever and ever!

This dress fit perfectly! I wore the 6L with flats. It was perfect in the front but dragged a bit in the back - not a big deal though. I received compliments all night long. Can't wait to rent my next dress!

I ordered a 4R and a 4L because they didn't have a size 2. I was glad I did because the 4R was SHORT. It came almost to my ankles and I'm 5'6". Everywhere else fit flawlessly and it ended up being almost perfect in length, though I could have used an extra inch.

I was so comfortable in this dress all night. It was a classic look for a black tie party. I wore the 10R and it fit well. Typically I wear a size 8 (29 regular). I usually have a problem with straps sliding down so I was a it concerned with this being backless but nothing moved all night!

It was very clear this dress had been worn a lot before. Normally RTR dresses are worn in the zipper area for understandable reasons, but on this dress the sequined/beaded areas were in bad shape. They looked fine from afar but upon closer inspection there were entire lines missing and the thread was frayed. Lesson learned- don't order ornate dresses from RTR.

Absolutely stunning dress. Worn to a black tie event and it was perfect. The back is beautiful and the skirt makes you feel extremely glamorous. Heavy material that has stretch (like an expensive jersey almost). I loved wearing it!

I wore this dress for an Evening of Elegance as a church function at the Camelot. The dress fitted very well and was so comfortable. So many people told me I look great. Thank you for making my evening an memorable one.

Fantastic Dress for hourglass figure! The double lining keeps everything smooth w/o any undergarments needed. Pair it with a NuBra and you are set to go.

This was a backup dress since RTR couldn't send me the 2nd size of my original choice. I didn't end up wearing it, but it was a beautiful dress. The fit was lovely (really shows off your waist & falls nicely over the hips), except I felt it draped funny in the back. It could be because I'm shorter in the torso, but it gaped a little on the sides. It would be a good dress to wear to a more formal, elegant affair.

I was sent this by RTR when my original order had to be changed last minute. I'm not a huge fan of the details around the waste but for anyone who wants to define her waist, this dress will work well! The back is the best part, however, with the low back and detail at the small of the back. If it hadn't been for the detail that wasn't ideal for me and my style, I would have worn it!

Rent the runway sent me this dress, since they didn't have the one I had ordered. It is a very classy dress, and I would have worn it had it not been too tight in the hips. I wish they would have sent I 6, which I usually wear, instead of the 4, that was the size I rented in the original dress that they didn't have.

The shape of the dress is incredibly flattering. It has a long piece in the back that made me feel amazing. I got tons of compliments all night and felt very sophisticated. It was sexy but in a subtle and adult way. Definitely would recommend this dress!

This amazingly SIMPLE YET COMFY dress was such a classy and beautifully fitted dress. It highlights all the right curves! The problem. Because of it's open back design, if you have a larger bust like me, you may want to preplan with a way to wear a bra with this dress. Going without a bra wasn't an option. I do plan to rent it again once I figure out the Bra solution. I loved it!
