I rented this dress for a work event themed from the show Mad Men. It was the perfect dress! So classy and timeless. The material is very form fitting but extremely comfortable and true to size. I was comfortable all night had no issues dancing sitting standing or walking a city block. I am curvy on the booty and boobs and was so happy with the cut! EVERY person I met complimented my dress! It's s show stopper for sure! Get this you won't regret it!

I rented this dress for a fancy NYE fundraiser and I still can't get over the beautiful color! I also appreciated the sleeves and the longer length as the night was rather chilly. This dress definitely hugs your curves (or lack there of), so I wound up wearing Spanx pantyhose to try and keep everything smooth. Worth it. I felt like a million bucks in this dress!

The fit was extraordinary. After moving around you will have to adjust the shoulders but it was in no way an inconvenience. I am still wearing the dress as I type my review it was so fabulous. I received compliments from an editor for Vogue! Who would have thought I would be the only person at a holiday party in Emerald? Styled with some asymmetric pointed Louboutins and a vintage black clutch it was perfect. I'm not one to repeat outfits but I would wear this again and again!

This was my favorite dress that I've rented- and probably one of the first I've rented that wasn't damaged in any way- it was brand new. Great color, super flattering. Wore if for a special work event and it was perfect! hated to send it back- I would buy this if I could.

Loved the emerald color, and the log sleeves. The length was also perfect. The fit and style is meant to be tight to flaunt your figure, so I wouldn't suggest it for those with problem areas. I didn't wear spanks, but if I were a pound more I would definitely need them! I suggest going a size up of you have curves.

It's a beautiful, elegant, classy dress and can easily be dressed up or down. Fabric has lots of give which makes it comfortable. Would definitely rent again for the right event.

Honestly, the fit of this dress is wonky. Maybe it's only on shorter people? I could fit the 8, but the buckling was less significant in the 10, so I wore that one. Normally, I wouldn't prefer this length, but due to the low February temps, I was ok with it. It's so, so pretty. The color, the style, all thumbs up.

Be aware that it is quite form fitting and even the skinniest woman will need spanx to give a smooth appearance. I received so many compliments and my husband said he couldn't take his eyes off of me.

Loved the color! The back zipper did have a wave effect down the seam. I ordered the 4 and 6 originally, but had the 2 overnighted. The 2 fit perfectly. I feel this dress would be ideal for all shapes and sizes. The dress hit right below my knee. I also ordered the earrings the model is wearing. They were not heavy and added a little modern flare to a classic style.

I rented for my engagement party. Positives: I loved the fit and the dress was very sleek and elegant. The color was a lovely jewel-toned emerald which stood out. Negatives: the shoulders were folded over and not sewn so when you raised your arms the shoulders would move up and had to be readjusted throughout the night. The zipper at the base of the dress created a bump near the back that was bothersome. Otherwise, a good rental.

Color of this dress is gorgeous and the fabric was very forgiving and flattering: our dinner was a seven-course tasting menu and I was extremely grateful the fabric had some stretch! I am also glad I got the 14 and not the 12 because it would have been way, way too tight, I think. The neckline is quite dramatic and frames the face wonderfully: I didn't wear it pulled down around my shoulders like the model in the photo: it looked much nicer bloused high, like a cowl. One ding that makes it not quite 5-stars is the zipper is very stiff and poked out in the back: could be because of my height and the curve of the dress not quite matching the curve of my body. However, from the front, it's a knock out! Would totally rent again: I hate to send it back!

I rented this dress for a winter ballet performance. If I had rented it for a longer affair (say a wedding), I would've returned it. I was most worried about the arms fitting since I went with the size 10 (my shoulders are broad and my arms are not as proportionate with my waist size) but the sleeves fit beautifully. When I first put the dress on, I was very pleased. I thought it was so beautiful and very flattering. However, I quickly realized that the inner lining was permanently twisted. It's stitched in place and the seams do not line up. You can make out the "side" seam of the inner lining on the left hand side of the picture above and you can tell it is obviously not in the right place. In addition, the zipper in the back is incredibly crooked. It started in the middle of my upper back and ended by my left hip. There is no way the dress was designed this way. I wanted to love this dress but the make of it just made it uncomfortable to wear.

I'm 5'7 and 120 lbs, 34C this was perfect for my event; Tight fit with long sleeves. I'm usually a 0 or 2 but even the 2 was cutting it close. A 4 would have probably been better.

The fabric is beautiful as well as the color. It's stretchy and very flattering!

I loved the stretch in the fabric - it hugged my curves. I did wear spanx underneath to smooth everything but overall found the fabric pretty forgiving. The green was perfect for my office holiday party, and the sleeves were appropriate for the weather in the Rockies in December. Overall, really loved the dress.

Wore this dress for a Mad Men themed birthday party. It was perfect! I got so many compliments. I had to pull the material on the shoulder down all night - it would raise up but otherwise it was perfect. The 2 was very tight but I liked it better than the 4. Spanx helped!

I'm an auctioneer and I'm constantly needing new, particular, formal fashion. RTR saved me and my savings account! The event was "the Emerald City" and the dress was absolutely darling. I received many compliments. It was classy, conservative, and perfect for the venue!

I loved wearing this dress! Details about myself: 165 lbs, 5' 5", hourglass figure with mommy tummy after baby number two, 34H. Loved that I could wear a real bra (with some adjustments throughout the night, which did not stop me from renting again for another event). I wore Spanx to feel sort of tucked in, but just loved how I felt in this dress. Highly recommend.

What a stunning dress! The fit is accurate for a body-hugging style, though there's a tiny bit of stretch in the material. The shoulder swoop didn't want to stay down after any kind of arm movement, but that's okay. Lots of compliments all night-- would definitely rent again!

Only con-I was away on business, this was for a cocktail party, had to call housekeeping to help me zip up back. Pro--Great color and fit, absolutely loved it and I just left it with concierge next day for return, easy peasy!

I wore this dress to a snowy winter wedding in Wisconsin. It is great for a winter wedding as it is very elegant but also long-sleeved. It is a very form-fitting dress. The 2 fit perfectly. As some other reviewers mentioned the sleeves were a bit loose but overall I was very happy!

Definitely a snug fit, but still flattering. Size 12 wasn't avail, so I'm not sure if that would have fit better. But I was comfortable all night and got lots of compliments!

First time using RTR and already recommending to everyone! This dress was warm enough for a cold outdoor wedding, the color was awesome and size was just right! I'm usually a 10, got the 8 and it was perfect! I got so many compliments on this dress and felt beautiful. Can't wait to rent another knockout!

I ordered the size 8 and I chose a back-up size of 10. I originally tried on the 8 and although I was fine with the fit, I felt like the dress had a distinct smell. I tried on the 10 and was equally pleased with the fit so I ended up wearing that size. I was disappointed with the size 8 smell. This was my first RTR experience and that was a bummer - but I'm so glad I got the backup size and it was great! Overall I would say this dress runs true to size but it is very fitted! If you don't like a body-hugging dress, this isn't for you! The dress is very flattering. I received many compliments. It shows off the body and looks beautiful on!

Great dress and super comfy. I would rent again but would go a size down, it looked big on me. A size smaller would have hugged my shape better. It felt long and I am 5'10" it came to the bottom of my knee, again I think smaller size would have given it a better length as well.

I rented this dress for my 40th, during which myself and a group of fab women donned crowns and bar hopped while being ferried around in a limo all evening. I normally wear an 8-10 off the rack, but I rented a 12 in this style. It fit great and was super comfortable. The dark green color is gorgeous, and the cut is flattering for a curvier figure.

I am between a 12/14. The 12 Was Way too tight. I could've gotten it on but it would've been too tight. The 14 was just snug. By the end of the evening the fabrics loosened up. Would have preferred it stayed form fitting, but was still beautiful. . Many compliments on the dress and color. Perfect dress for the event (presenter at graduation). Very comfortable. Great coverage yet sexy.

This is a GORGEOUS dress! The fabric is thick and wraps your body like a glove. The quality definitely shows. I wore this for a winter wedding and I was never cold. I usually wear a 2, but the 4 seemed to fit exactly the same and the 4 was actually shorter (it looked like it may have been hemmed). I wore the 4 because I liked the length better but I would have been very happy in either. The wrap detail on the shoulder is a beautiful classic touch. The green is a beautiful Emerald. I received so many compliments on this dress (as with all RTR dresses!). I did also wear spanx underneath for a smooth look (sssh!).

IN LOVE with this dress! I wore it for a family wedding in March. It had snowed that day and the weather was chilly so this dress was perfect. Sexy yet conservative at the same time. The fit was perfect. It was snug and very fitted, which was exactly what I wanted. I chose to wear the 2. I'm 5'8" and 132 pounds. The 4 was a little longer and looked exactly how it does in the display picture on this site. The 2 was the length I had wanted.

I wore the 10 but needed the 12. However, you can scrunch up the dress to make it less obvious that it's too tight. The dress is very stretchy, so very comfortable! And it's a good thick quality so it smooths you out. Loved the color.

This was my first RTR, and I'll definitely be back to do it again. The Badgley Mischka I wore worked perfectly for the military retirement ceremony and dinner I attended over the weekend. Given that it was D.C. in early March, the long sleeves and higher neckline kept me nice and warm. My dress also felt appropriate for the more conservative crowd at the event without being boring. A great choice for the bigger breasted among us, too! I'm 5'2" and 125 pounds, but with a DD or E cup size. My regular size (a 6) fit, but I ended up wearing my backup (an 8) because I felt like it was less sexy and more formal, if that makes sense. I bonded over RTR with a fellow renter at the event as well, which was fun. And RTR has fabulous, efficient customer service! Thank you for a great dress and a great overall experience.
