It fit beautifully and gave a nice hour glass silhouette. The sequins did rub just a bit under the arms, but not enough to keep me from recommending this dress. Not right, not loose. Just right.

The dress was beautiful, comfortable, danceable and I received so many compliments!! I'm 5'7" so I preferred the longer dress. Truly gorgeous!

The dress is true to size, but has little give. I am 5'3" and wore 3 inch heels. The 4R was a perfect fit and length. The sequins did dig into my skin at the arms and my stomach, but only started bothering me towards the end of the night.

I cant say enough about this gorgeous dress! I am between 5'7" and 5'8" and the dress is just slightly long with heels on, but I was still able to walk without a problem. The sequins are gorgeous and the dress is pretty comfortable. I did wear spanx shorts underneath and had no problem with fit.

This dress fit like a glove. I am normally a size 10 and the 10 fit perfectly. My only negative comment is that it fell very short on me which is strange because I am 5'4. I had to wear only 1 1/2 - 2 in. heels with this dress which is not normal for me. Know this now, I would have ordered the 10L. Some of this might be because I have larger thighs an behind which was taking away some of the length of the dress. Overall, I felt beautiful and got so many compliments. My family couldn't believe how well it fit from ordering it offline. I also have a tummy I don't love but it was nothing spanx couldn't fix since the sequin design helps to hide flaws. I would rent this dress again!

The fit was true to size. I carry most of my weight in my lower body so the 6 was perfect. It was pretty tight, but not in an uncomfortable way. Some of the reviews talked about the discomfort of the sequins under the arm, but I did not have any discomfort in that area and I actually felt like they were loose enough. I ended up getting the regular instead of the tall even though I wore wedges but it was still a good length. I encourage anyone to try this! I had a lot of compliments and felt very good in it.

Dress was perfect.

I wore this dress to an Inaugural Ball. It fit comfortably and didn't require bra, because it is fully lined. It looked elegant and the emerald green in it is beautiful. I don't have wide hips, but I imagine someone with wide hips finding it tight around that area. I felt like a princess in it!

The dress was perfect. I ordered a long because I wanted the dress to be long and flowing. I usually wear a regular. My dress size is a 14, but I had to wear the 16 because of my breast. My heal did get caught in my dress once or twice but not to the point it was annoying. The only downfall was the zipper. It was tough to zip. At one point I thought we might rip the dress. We took a bar soap and gently rubbed the inside of the zipper. Overall I was pleased with my choice. This is my 2nd RTR, and I can now say I'm a loyal customer. I will return!

This dress was perfect for our work Christmas party. I was recieving compliments all night long. Its definitely one of a kind! The only issue I had the zipper. It was extremely hard to get on and off. But I would still rent this dress again. The sequins didnt bother my arms at all.

This was my first time ordering a dress through RTR. My order came a day early and to my relief, it fit like a glove! I wore a 6L size. I wish my back up dress was a 6R so i could have worn a smaller heel shoe. I got TONS of compliments all night on this dress!!!

The gown is much more striking in person. I'm 5'4" and wore 3" heels and the regular length was perfect. The only con is it is a little scratchy under the arms but it would never stop me from renting it again.

I thought this dress ran small. All the other dresses I have rented from RTR were size 6, including a dress from the same designer. I snazzed it up a bid with long black gloves.

I was a red carpet photographer at a gala and selected this dress specifically because it had a high, but elegant, neckline. The length was perfect with a 3" heel, it brushed the floor with a nice train. No bra necessary! I had the 0R and 2R sent to me, the 2R fit well. Overall, the dress was comfortable, but I will warn you that the sequins under the arms are painful and rub the skin. The 0R dress was missing the green color on sequins where it had rubbed off on chest and bottom. The 2R, thankfully, was only missing color under the armpits and it wasn't noticeable. I would have been disappointed if I had to wear the one that had rubbed off so much. I will still come to Rent the Runway for my fancy clothing needs. :)

The length guided was really helpful for picking out the length of the dress, my heels worked out great and it wasn't too short and didn't drag too much on the ground. Anyone with fair skin should keep in mind, the sequins around the arm tend to itch a bit, but I was able to ignore it. The original size fit well, however the top button on the backup was missing, so if my original size didn't fit I would have been out of a dress!

Beautiful color! The back up size 4 was snug so if in doubt size up. The event I attended had a lot of dancing and the boning in the top got a little uncomfortable, but another great dress.

This was one of the two dresses I ordered I ended up not wearing it because I got a third dress shipped overnight that I was absolutely in love with. But if that one wouldn't have worked I would have worn this one. It's definitely very unique, it was a little bit on the smaller side so out of the two sizes I ordered this was the larger size. Definitely an awesome dress and comfortable!

The color was great against the usual black gowns and sea of sameness. While I would usually have worn the 8L, the color had slightly faded on that gown so i wore the brand new back up - note if you were going to buy a newly new. It was perfect for the #adultprom event! Felt very elegant and different and the sequins were perfect. Although it was a little scratchy from the sequins under the arm. Glad for the little extra room for all the delicious food!

So many compliments in this dress!

With just enough give in the material and some boninig in the bodice this dress was very flattering to my 59 year old athletic body. I am 5'6" and weigh 145 with a 36B bust so the 10R fit me best. I felt fabulous and people said I looked like a model (usually I am a country girl and a grandma playing with horses LOL).

Fit really well! I wore the 6, 8 was a little too big in the bust (I wear a 32D). Somewhat snug in the shoulders, I’d pick a size more based on top more than bottom. Slightly more blue than the photos!

The seam around the waist could be more flattering but overall gorgeous dress

Loved this dress for a black tie wedding, stylish and elegant. Just a bit long, I had on 4" heels and the dress still touched the floor, had to be careful walking, but otherwise comfortable. I usually wear a size 6 with Badgley Mischka dresses, but this one felt tight, I went up a size to be more comfortable moving about.

Very comfortable to wear & easy to walk, sit & dance in. I noticed a slight itchiness under the arms due to the sequins, but it was not a distraction. I wore a strapless bra for added support although there is a sewn-in version. Zipping up the dress is a 2-person job, but once on, it fit well as it had a slightly stretchy fabric. I'm over 65, 5'7", 145 lbs. & got a 8L. I didn't have to try on my backup size. The dress is gorgeous & I received lots of compliments. This was my first RTR rental & I'll be back...the process couldn't have been more easy, seamless & affordable.

This dress hugged me in all of the right places. I read a few reviews saying that the sequence was itchy under the arm, but I had no problems whatsoever with it. It was very well fit.

The fit was great but it did rub a little bit underneath the armpits (only if you're moving a bunch and dancing). I'm 5'10" and a half and with 4 inch heels the dresses length was still fine and I am glad I ordered the long.

After getting an invite to a Commodores Ball, I was in a lurch. Who has ball gowns just lying around? Luckily, Rent the Runway DC really helped me figure out what I could wear to an event like this. This dress fit so perfectly. For a girl on the tall side of life, the long was essential. I received so many compliments on the dress throughout the night due to the originality. If you want to wear a dress that is timeless, classy, and original= this is the dress.

This dress fit like a glove. I have absolutely no complaints. It looks even better in person. The dress is definitely a highlight on its own; you don't really need much jewelry. Make sure that the dress falls as close to the floor as possible. You should NOT really be able to see your feet. They should just peek out of the dress.

Hit nicely in the waste not too tight. I may have been able to go a size smaller. Perfect length when I wore 3"heels.

I stepped outside my comfort zone with this dress - green sequin ivy, really? And I'm SO GLAD I did. It is so incredibly flattering and garnered so much attention at a work event where everyone was wearing floor length gowns. It hugs curves in just the right places. I ordered an 8R and 10R and the 8R fit perfectly. Doesn't need much in terms of jewelry - pair with a simple cuff bracelet or dangle earrings and you're good to go. The only complaint - toward the end of the night the sequins started irritating the skin on my underarms... but I was wearing it for about 10 hours! If you're considering this gem - go for it!

Length was great, I wore three inch heels and it just hit the floor.

Great fit! Unique dress! Tons of compliments! I originally picked a size 0 but went with a 2 as I hadn't been hitting the gym for the past couple months. I'm 5'4.5" and wore 5" heels and the 2 long was perfect. Slight train but easy to manage. I didn't wear any necklace or bracelets as I didn't want anything to catch to the dress. Earrings is enough - the dress is beautiful and different. I added a custom peacock headband as it was a 1920's/Gatsby affair. Definitely recommend!

This dress fit so perfectly, I am 5'4" and 123 lbs. it was a little bit long because I wore flat sandals instead of heels, but with one or two inch heels it would have been PERFECT. The only problem was that I (and my date) kept stepping on it. Other than that it fit perfectly!
