This was an absolutely amazing dress! Plus size girls, don't be afraid to wear something that has you standing out! My husband and I attended a formal gala/awards ceremony and I had compliments on this dress all night long! Plus size girls, this is a perfect dress. It does run short, but I'm also 5'3 so I wore kitten heels and it was the perfect height. Also, the sequins did scratch my arms a little, but it was manageable. 10/10 would rent this one again

It fit like a dream. I usually wear a size 18, so I ordered it in 18 and a 20 just in case. I wore the 18, and didn't even need to take the 20 out of the bag. The sequins were not uncomfortable until the dancing, but even then it was not unbearable. It had great movement and great shape. You can tell that it is high quality! You can wear a regular bra with this, but it will show a bit in the back at the bottom of the V. I was really anxious to receive this dress, and I feared that it would not fit/look good/meet my expectations, but it truly did. I felt gorgeous and confident, and I was so sad to put it in the mail to send back! Great dress, I highly recommend it to anyone that likes to feel beautiful.

This dress was perfect for my body shape (pear) and the sparkles and fishtail cut was very flattering. I got compliments for days after the concert.

All Pros with this gown! Sizing was perfect! Not as heavy as I thought it would be considering it was mostly sequence. I love the mermaid cut of the gown on the bottom. I felt like a star on the dance floor. Lol

Fit- I chose true to size, but it does run a bit big through the waist. Bust- If you are bustier like me this dress is perfect since you can wear a regular bra and get the great support that other formal gowns lack. Also the conservative neckline was a nice change from many of the other formal gowns I've worn. Length- I am 5'6 and ordered the long and was glad I did! With my 4-5" heels the dress just grazed the floor! Perfection! Sequins- The dress is absolutely stunning, but all those sequins make it a bit heavy. P.S. the back has a bit of a train, which made me love it even more! Overall I am OBSESSED with this dress!

My husband and I attended a gala this past weekend and I received nothing but compliments on this dress! It's super comfortable and I could wear a normal bra instead of a strapless. The fit and hemline was perfect! I would definitely recommend this dress.

Pros is that it can be worn with black accents but jewelry color to match was a bit challenging. It has a little bit of weight to it so it helps to fall into place. The color is much more vibrant with evening lighting and looks great in pictures. Ideal for pear shape or heavy busted women.

I felt like a movie star in head to toe sparkles. The dress moves like a dream and is delicious to spin around in. I was steeped in compliments all night long and felt sexy, glamorous and fun! Easy to wear, dance in, sit and pose. A little chafing under the pits, but nothing I couldn't put up with as a price for wearing this showstopper.

This dress is very true to size, I am very large up top (DDD) and the dress fit perfectly up there. I am 5'5" and the dress was right at the floor with flats, with heels wouldn't have hit right. Very comfortable dress! Not itchy or too heavy like I imagined. Perfect for my formal event!

This dress fit perfect in everyway, couldn't have asked for a better fitting dress. The length was perfect as well. I received non-stop compliments all night about how gorgeous this dress was. I would definitely recommend!! The only con from the dress is the sequins do cause some irritation under the arm.

This was my favorite dress I have rented so far! It was so flattering and felt very elegant and well made. I loved the way it moved and the sequins glittered on the dance floor. I was sure my underarms would be sore from the sequins but I used baby powder and I had no problems at all. This dress seemed to run a little on the big side, I usually have a hard time zipping a dress in a 16 up due to my large chest, this was no problem.

I ordered this dress for a formal night on a cruise and it was AMAZING. The dress runs true to size and has some stretch which was great because I'm very busty (36DD). The dress was long but I'm also very short, about 5'1 so I wore 5 1/2 inch heels and it was fine. I absolutely recommend this dress! Gorgeous, comfortable, total show stopper.

The dress was stunning…fit was true to size, form fitting, and length was a bit long but went perfectly with the highest heels I had. It made for an unforgettable evening at the Navy Ball with my awesome husband who is a Navy Veteran. This dress fits true to size and is very comfortable. You can wear a normal bra. The sequins do rub up against your arm which could be annoying if you're wearing it a long time. I would re rent this.

This dress was a fun option for a Mardi Gras party. It was comfortable in the fit and made for an easy dancing dress. I felt confident in this dress and thought it hugged in all the right spots. The sequins under my arm scratched me pretty much all night long. I had significant red bumps from the rubbing and scratches the next day. This is my only complaint from the dress, but still thought it was perfect for the night.

It flowed as I walked. It felt like I was wearing a heavy coat but with comfort. Sitting was a challenge. I received many compliments but they recommended that I not wear the shawl on stage. I am glad I took the shawl off because the dress glittered on the stage. I would recommend this dress as long as it was not a sit-down affair.

I loved this dress. It was a bit loose in the waist and the top of the neckline rippled slightly but it was perfect for this formal wedding. I felt covered enough in the Orthodox Church. It has a slight train which also made it stunning. The only issue I had was the length. I'm not the tallest woman by any means and I had to wear flats. I ordered the regular length thinking I would wear heels too but it was so short even my flats were showing. I don't know if someone altered it prior to my purchase. I went a ball that was Great Gatsby themed...the glitz of this dress was perfect! I originally ordered a 20wl and added the 18 as my back up. Thank God, because the 20 that was sent was regular length instead of long! Because I am 5'10" the regular would have looked too short and ill constructed! I would have preferred the 20 because it wouldn't have accentuated my lower pooch as much, but overall the 18 worked out. The dress does run large as other comments have pointed out, so I would similarly suggest going down a size or 2. I looked so glamorous in this dress that it didn't even matter or seem like this was a last minute option to supplant an order I made elsewhere! Loved it and wear again

The only con to this dress is that the sequins are itchy under the arms; however, the pros out weigh the con 100 to 1. I usually wear a 16/18 in a dress. I ordered the 18WR and it was perfect. It hugged all the right places and didn't hug all the right places. Besides being fabulous, this dress was comfortable for sitting, walking, and dancing.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous! I rented the 20WL and the 18WL and wore the 18WL. The Long was perfect for my 5'8" frame and the kitten heels I wore. My arms by the end of the evening were thoroughly scratched by the sequins, but I did not mind it as I felt fabulous.

The dress was beautiful! I wore it to the Marine Corp Ball and it was perfect for the event. I felt so beautiful and walked with confidence in this dress!!! I will say though that I wish I had ordered it a size smaller. I picked my size based on the size chart suggestions for my waist size and while the dress did fit pretty well I could have worn a size smaller and showed off more of my curves. I suggest ordering based on your bust size. Also, I got the long since I am 5'8 and wore 3 inch heels and the dress was still a little too long, so I recommend either wearing at least 5 inch heels or ordering the regular if you are on the taller side.

I am glad I picked up the dress from the store on 18th Street and tried it on. I originally ordered this dress 16L Green regular. After trying on the dress I ordered, it fit snug and was short. I thought this was weird considering I tried on a sample dress in the showroom that was the same size/color that hugged my curves perfectly but was about 2-3 inches too short. I was getting nervous because it was Thursday and I need the dress for Saturday with no back up plan. The attendants suggested I order another 14L (green), as well as 14WL (gold) and 16WL (gold) that would arrive next day (Friday). We (the attendant and I) figured the women's size would be a little loose around the middle but at least be long enough. Friday - I get confirmation all dresses arrived at the store. I try on the 14L. It was still too short and much tighter then the showroom dress. I then try on the 14WL; it was a little loose but the length was PERFECT (I am 5-10 without heels). I was going to pin the sides for more of a snug fit but being a seamstress is not my thing. Overall, I must say this dress was a HIT!! I received so many compliments all night. I would have preferred the green over the gold since that was what I originally ordered but everything came together in the end.

Oh man. I loved this dress. Wore it to a black tie wedding in DC this past weekend. I would say it runs pretty true to size... maybe a little big in certain areas. Despite the all over sequins, the dress is fairly stretchy. I got lots of compliments! I am 5'7" and the size 14 was JUST long enough to wear, even with flats - so tall girls beware! Lots of room for my "girls" and booty/hips. The sequins were scratchy on the inside of my arms, but it is what it is.

This was my backup but my first choice was just a bit too snug. However, I loved this dress and was very flattering on me! We had a great time and it was my first experience with RTR... I'll definitely try it again when I need it and rave to my friends and family!

I got this dress for an amazing night out to the symphony & dinner for my boyfriends last night out before going back to Afghanistan. Let me tell you... this dress was AMAZING! I got compliments from strangers all night. I typically wear a 12/14 but tend to run larger in dresses so I got a 16 but decided to get a backup 14. The dress tends to run a bit bigger so I ended up with the 14 but probably could've gone with a 12. This dress was gorgeous & incredibly comfortable. I'm 5'5 and got the 14L, which was perfect length with my 4" heels!

I was so disappointed that the dress is selected wasn't available and this was shipped instead. The picture looked horrible and I was sure I'd hate the dress. Quite the opposite, this dress was stunning and I got tons of complements! I was concerned the "belt" wouldn't look good on a larger sized woman but it was flattering and fun to wear. I loved wearing this dress and was sad to send it back.

This dress was so comfortable to wear. It has a slight v in the back but you are able to still wear a regular bra. There is a slight train so I had to wear 3inch heels. Pairs well with different accessories.

I wore this dress to my law school Barrister Ball. It’s very comfortable and light weight. The sequins hurt my arms a little bit but it wasn’t terrible. I’m 5’3 and rented the regular size. I would order the long next time so I could wear higher heels and still have the train effect of the dress. I highly recommend this gown!

This dress was a backup dress, and I am so glad I picked it because my original style did not work out. I found the dress to be a bit long on me, even wearing 3" heels. I had to pick up the dress to walk up and down stairs, but it wasn't too much of a hassle. As the other reviews mention, the dress is more of a mermaid shape than implied. Most important of all, the dress was comfortable to eat and dance in!

I normally wear a 14, and this dr as fit perfectly. The back is just low enough that I felt I should wear a backless bra. Length was perfect for me with 2 inch heels. I felt so glamorous in this dress and got compliments all night! This had been my back up look, but one look and it became the one and only! If you’re worried about wearing sequins- this dress wasn’t itchy at all. Super comfortable to wear, and very flattering fit.
