I rented the dress for a photoshoot. It was stunning (in person and on camera)! I wore the 0L - it was tight in the arm holes but the bust of the dress is naturally floppy and I didn't want extra fabric in the size 2. If I was dancing at a wedding the arm holes might have been a little tight. I used body tape to keep the V-neck covered. Length was perfect! I would not rent the Regular length is you are a tall chic!

The fit was great! The only warning I would give is, the zipper gets a little stuck and not because it didn't fit, it just snags on the material a bit. A beautiful dress !! I received compliments all night long !!

This dress was super comfortable to wear all night, both while sitting during dinner and while dancing (really fun to dance in!). The cut is classic, but beautiful and tasteful even with the deep V and high slit. Fashion tape was a must for the deep V. Even though I am tall, the 4R was the perfect length to wear with flats or low heels. The color was great at a black tie event - you really stand out and I got tons of compliments. This was actually a replacement dress - the original that I ordered ended up not working. The stylist I worked with was so incredibly helpful and put my mind at ease when I was worried about getting a great dress in time for my event. I will be using Rent the Runway from here on out!

The dress fit beautifully! The only issue I had was with the bust gaping open (like mentioned in most other reviews) but was a quick fix with a pin. The dress was comfortable for sitting and dancing for hours during the ceremony and reception.

Top runs a little big, but I just used tape to hold it down.

This dress is absolutely stunning!! The material is stunning and falls beautifully. I received so many compliments! My only complaint was that it was pretty low cut so I had to pin it but other than that it was perfect. Wish I could've kept it!

I got this dress for prom, and it couldn't have been better. I ordered my size, which is size 6 and then a size 8 and the size 6 was perfect! Even if you're tall like me, just order the regular length, it works perfectly! The only thing was that I had to pin the dress so my bra wouldn't show! Otherwise, this dress is SO very flattering and flows beautifully when you walk. I was so sad to have to send it back :( it was a 10/10 in my book! :) definitely would recommend this dress to everyone!

I rented this dress for my engagement photos and I couldn't have been happier with the dress! I was looking for a bright and different dress that would look elegant in our photos and this was definitely it! The neckline was tricky but nothing a little fashion tape and a safety pin can't fix!

The dress fits great and feels amazing and worth the quality. If you have a small bust, it can be a little hard to fill out - but it's nothing a little fashion tape didn't fix for the whole night. The dress is also a little long. I had on 3 inch heels and there was still some drag on the group, but the slit helps with that. The dress is the most gorgeous royal blue and was a wonderful experience.

This dress was fabulous! The color was stunning and it was very comfortable to wear and dance in. Only issue was the chest was a bit revealing so I had to pin it to keep from exposing too much. However, I got many compliments and I loved it and would wear it again!

After my original order became unavailable, RTR went ABOVE AND BEYOND and sent me three additional dresses to try at no cost. I didn't expect to wear this blue gown, but when I put it on I felt amazing. The neckline is low enough without looking too revealing, and waist cinches at the right spot, and the material flows so perfectly. The slit sits lower than the photo shows, which I liked because I'm more modest with my body but still felt sexy enough. I wore this to a black tie wedding and never wanted to take it off.

The gown fit perfectly. The only thing I would've changed would've been the length. Based on the reviews I thought I needed the long, but really the regular would've been better, nothing a pair of heels couldn't fix though. ;) Otherwise, the fit was amazing. I felt gorgeous all night long and received many compliments throughout the night.

I absolutely loved this dress. The flow, color, and overall appearance was amazing. I ended up going with the 16L (even though the 14L fit perfect around the waist) because it gave me more fabric on the chest to pin together. I am a 38DDD so needed to be able to cover a little bit! Pins and double sided tape worked great. I paired it with the Erickson Beamon emerald earrings (also from RTR) for an extra pop of color. Also- I am 5'6 and wore 4 inch heels, the long was a great length!

In the photo I'm wearing a 2R. I'm usually a 4 right now, so I felt this runs a little big. The deep V in the front is beautiful and tastefully done, but I would have had to wear double stick tape to be safe. I ended up choosing another dress (Theia Shimmering Element Gown) that was the same color and closer to the dress I originally wanted to wear, but I would have worn this if the other hadn't worked.

Every single person I talked to at my work party gave me a compliment about the dress, especially the men. I'm 5'10 and the Long worked for me, it could have been a bit longer since it didn't even hit the floor flat-footed. I'm a 36DDDD so I had to pin the front of the dress to not show off too much cleavage. I had to go up a dress size to account for my chest. The color is gorgeous and when you make long strides your left leg is revealed.

This dress was absolutely wonderful!! Very easy and comfortable to wear. However, I would suggest wearing very high heels with it!! I ended up getting 14L because it was the only size available for the event, and I am only 5'2" so I was holding the dress up all night! I am also pregnant, and this dress was great to wear with a belly. Very elegant. The bust area is very large though! And I had to keep adjusting throughout the night. Just be prepared to either pin or tape the neckline, unless you like showing a lot of cleavage!!

This dress is very comfortable to wear. The slit is hardly noticeable when wearing it--I'm not sure anyone knew it had a slit so don't be shy about that. I have a short waist/torso so neckline was very revealing for me--36D. I had to use tape to keep it in place or it would have been a bit too revealing. For the most part your standard bra will work as long as it doesn't have a wide/thick center between the cups; you don't want too full of a cup though. I wear a 10 or 12 and definitely needed the 12 in this dress because of the higher waist band is not forgiving. I'm 5'5" and wore 2.5" heels and the dress was the perfect length for walking and dancing.

Flower dress, with deep v neck. You can always pin it if you want a more modest look. Dress is great for dancing, i wore four inch heels and the dress hit the floor perfectly, it goes well with gold or silver jewelry. I wore the Kate Spade garden party necklace and loved it.

Absolutely loved the dress. The color is really rich, which I loved. It was a teeny bit long, so I probably should have worn bigger heels, but I wanted to be able to dance all night! It's a little low cut so I threw a safety pin in there to keep it all together. Overall, it's a great dress and I think everyone would look beautiful in it!

I ordered this dress on the Thursday before my event and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it would still come on time without even a rush fee! The dress fit perfectly except that for my 5'2" height it was still too long with heels. But I'm used to that and am just happy that the shoulders fit great as formal dresses are usually too loose at the bust and shoulders for my petite frame. Rent the Runway provides a good service and, overall, I was pleased with their stylists, both at the Las Vegas store and via e-mail. I tried on a size 4L in the store and it fit perfectly, albeit, way too long since I am barely 5'5". So I ordered a 4R to be sent to me. Fortunately, I also asked for a 6R as a backup. Much to my surprise, the 4 was 1 1/2" longer than the 6! Plus, the 4 had a bit of a train!! I wore a pair of 5" stilettos with a 1 1/2" platform and was very disappointed when the 4 dragged on the ground making it impossible to walk without stepping all over the dress. The 6 just lightly skimmed the ground and I was able to walk in that dress. However, the 6 was large in the bodice and didn't fit as nicely across the chest and back as the 4. I had to use several pieces of fashion tape along the neckline to hold it secure against me. I received numerous compliments about the dress and was happy to be able to end the evening with dancing. And, that is where the beauty of this dress lies -- when walking or dancing, the chiffon floats like a cloud and the high slit shows leg. Plus, I rented the Annubis Necklace and feel it added an extra notch up to enhance this dress. Overall, I was pleased with the dress. It was comfortable, elegant and the royal blue color is stunning. My only downside was the inconsistent lengths between the two dresses.

I had originally rented a different dress for the event and this was sent to me as a backup since the second size was damaged by the previous renter. I am so happy I chose to wear this dress and actually liked it BETTER than the one I intended on wearing! It fit me perfectly in all aspects and I wore 4" heels and it was the perfect length. I loved the way it flowed and was super comfortable to wear all night! The true color of the dress translated better in the second picture. Highly recommended!

This dress was beautiful! I loved the way it looked and flowed. I was 4 months pregnant at this time and I thought it was very flattering for my belly. It is very low cut though so I used double stick tape and some safety pins to make it less revealing at the neckline.

Fits like a dream- loose in the bust but easily fixable with fashion tape. I'm short, so it was a little big in the shoulders but not the end of the world. The dress is so beautiful, the slit in the leg adds a little "oomph" when you're walking but isn't noticeable when you're standing. i LOVED wearing this dress and didn't want to give it back.

I loved the color and fit of this dress but it is super super long. I was determined to wear it and borrowed super tall shoes from my girlfriend, and it was still too long. If you are shorter than 5'3" I would definitely think twice about whether you want to deal with holding your dress all night. That being said, I spent a lot of the night holding the dress so I wouldn't trip and so others wouldn't step on it, and I still had a great time and received many compliments! If it was a little shorter, I would totally rent again.

Grandma had to pin it together at the boobs! Short torso problem is also always an issue for me, but I made this one work. Very long like the other reviews said, worked fine with 3 inch heels. Honestly, I can't remember which size I wore for sure. I think I chose the larger size (10) for the arm holes being a little looser. Beautiful color! Love the slit on the leg!

Pros: It's a head turner for sure. The dress flows very nice when you walk and there's a tiny bit of a train as you walk down stairs. The slit is very Angelina Jolie. I wore hot pink suede Jessica Simpson pumps and some smaller earrings and that was it. I liked that it zipped up in the back to your neck because of the revealing front. Cons: You're going to need either pins or super sticky tape to keep your ladies in place-esp if you're top heavy. It's obviously revealing but it's classy enough to not cross that line. Also, I was wearing some under garments to suck it all in and the slit was so high (mid thigh) that it ended up showing so I had to adjust. If you decide to go long, be prepared to have people stepping on it all night long.

I tried on the 10R and 12R. Both fit pretty well and I decided to go with the smaller size. If you have a smaller waist, I'd go a size down. The top is a very low cut look so finding the right bra was difficult. I'm tall and I wore 3" heels and was still tripping occasionally. Do not get the tall unless your combined height will be over 6'. The fabric was perfect, not to hot or cool, fun to dance in and the color was beautiful.

This is a beautiful dress. The color is great and the style is really elegant. Unfortunately, if you have boobs they are hard to hide. I tried it on in the store and the woman helping me said it would be easy to pin. Not so. Maybe I'm just not crafty, but I absolutely could not pin the dress in a way that covered my cleavage without the pin showing. I could have used double stick tape, but that is not something I have laying around my house. In the end I just gave up because we were already super late for our event. I was worried about covering myself all night. A little cleavage is fine, but this was just out of control! I also felt that the slit in the front made the dress more difficult to walk in. Maybe it was just too long for me, but people were stepping on the dress all night, particularly near where the slit is. I would not recommend this dress for short girls. It was a 0R and I am 5'3, wore 3 inch-heels, and it was STILL super long. Hope that helps!

This dress is gorgeous but I think it might work better for someone a bit older than myself. The deep V in the front is nice but the fabric may be better suited for a mother of the bride. The color was amazing in person

Other than the fact that I accidentally wore a dress similar in style and color to the bridal party, this was a hit! It was so comfortable and fit very well. I ordered the 4 and the 6, but the 4 worked great. I would make sure you use fashion tape for the top as it is a bit low cut. It's also very long! I wore 4" heals and it was hitting the floor.

I'm 5'3" (5'4" on a good day) and it was a little long; would've preferred the dress in petite. I wear a 34C and needed a little double-sided tape to keep the dress modest. It was long and a little loose but I made it work. The waist fit to size. Beautiful dress to dance the night away in, the dress dreams are made of.

Beautiful dress! Stunning color and so comfortable! This is my favorite dress I've rented from RTR. I wish I had more occasions to wear it! A few minor comments: The long was a bit too long with flats -- even on my 5'11" frame, and I could have gone down a size. The dress is very loose in the hips, plenty of room to move, so I suggest you size for your chest/torso. You can wear a standard bra with it.

This dress was incredible! It ended up being an accident that I wore this dress at all, as I had another dress picked out and my backup size ended up being unavailable at the last minute, and they sent me this as a second option. I loved it! It's so stunning, and I felt so sexy which isn't something I say very often. I have larger hips, and usually wear a 10L, but the 8L fit perfectly since it doesn't hug your hips at all. I;m 5'8", and wore flats with this dress and it was perfect all night. Definitely recommend this dress!

I wore this dress for my senior recital. The color was beautiful and I felt like a movie star in it. I am 5'10" and about 145 lbs. I normally wear a 4 or 6 in dresses and often have an issue with dresses being too short. I ordered the 4L and 6r (as they didn't have a 6 L in stock) and ended up wearing the 4L. The length was just right with about a 1-2 inch heal for a girl my height. I rarely wear a 2 but I almost felt as if I could have worn a smaller size in this dress as the bust was extremely roomy (I am a 34 C). I ended up taping up the front so that I had less cleavage showing because it wasn't appropriate for the event, however the deep V is really tasteful and sexy for a formal occasion. The slit in the dress was also a little high (like up to my crotch high) so I ended up taping that too. Although I had to make a few adjustments the dress was perfect for the occasion. Get this dress, it's GORGEOUS!

Got this dress as a back-up as the first dress arrived ripped (love RTR customer service). The 8L was PLENTY long enough but a little big in the bust area (and I usually have no problem filling out a dress). The color is amazing - bold enough but not too much (I think this dress also comes in other colors). Got a lot of compliments and felt very comfortable. Did have to pin the neckline together so I wouldn't feel too exposed.

The color of this dress is absolutely GORGEOUS. I received numerous compliments on that alone. For style, the slip underneath was tight enough that I didn't feel like the dress was going to fall anywhere. Paired with the flowy fabric, it was extremely flattering and didn't hug too tight in any one area. The deep v neckline wasn't overly loose, so I was able to be comfortable and confident that nothing was going anywhere. The slit up the leg was also a nice subtle touch for some added sexiness. Normally, I wear a size 6. The 6L was unavailable so I picked up the 4L and it fit wonderfully. I wore this dress on Labor Day weekend in 90 degree weather for an outdoor, black tie wedding and I am so so happy I did!

I wore this to a summer wedding and it worked perfectly - I found it ran a bit big, the waist is fitted without any stretch. The 2 fit (my normal size), but it looked a bit matronly/older than the 0. The smaller size was snug, but was overall comfortable throughout the day and night. It's a bit low cut, but works well if you are smaller chested and want to keep the look younger! Overall loved it - my favorite color.
