This dress is true to size. Length was perfect for me. I loves that it accentuated my curves with a feminine design. Got compliments all night.

I wore this dress for a black tie optional YMCA gala in November. Not only did the 0R fit like a glove (I'm 5'6", note long length wasn't needed) the sophisticated detail of the angled peplum and one shoulder made this gown ideal for mingling, a little dancing and stealing of the show. Strapless bra worked perfectly, back of dress accommodates one nicely. The slight flare at the bottom of skirt is very figure flattering, really creates an hourglass figure. With any satin, solid colored fabric - be careful about moisture. Water spots can show so don't drip your drink on it. Overall this was a great quality gown, thick fabric that holds you in and beautiful, vibrant emerald color. I can't imagine this hue looking anything than perfect on every skin tone.

My dress fit great. I'm only 5"6, and usually "long" anything is too long, but I'd recommend you get the long size in this dress, unless you're very petite. I wore 3 inch heels with this dress, and I wouldn't have minded if it was even longer. The fabric is thick and beautiful, and the dress fit me so well I didn't need to wear any spanx or nylons or anything. I did wear a strapless bra. I was comfortable in the dress all night! I am always in between sizes, because I'm a pear shape, either 10 or 12. But 10L was the way to go for me.

I actually hated this dress the first time I put it on. I tried on the 4R and it looked shapeless on me and I thought the ruffles laid weird. Thankfully I tried on the 2R and it hugged my waist perfectly and created such a sexy, yet elegant shape. It definitely has a small train so if you will be somewhere with a lot of people mingling, as I was, you'll have to carry it a bit, but it wasn't a problem. I got compliments ALL night. The color is amazing. People were coming out of the woodwork to tell me how amazing I looked. I felt like a movie star!

Perfect fit! Absolutely loved the color and the shape of the dress! Really light fabric and easy to move in.

Customer service contacted me about a week before my rental date to let me know that the dress I had initially reserved had been damaged. I cannot say enough nice things about the customer service rep who helped me -- we corresponded back and forth over the course of an evening. I told her what my concerns were (large, natural chest, preferred to be able to wear a bra, small waist, short) and she sent a few dress ideas my way. I passed over this dress during my initial search, but boy, am I glad she drew my attention back to it! I don't think I could have found a more perfect dress for the time crunch I was on. The color is beautifully rich, as pictured. The material is thick with an attached lining. I wore a strapless bra with one strap attached and it didn't show. I felt confident and secure, which was my main concern. I posted one close up and two far away photos so that you can see just how much this gown stands out from the pack. Everybody swooned over my gown and I felt absolutely amazing in it! I feel it runs true to size, but it has absolutely no stretch, so definitely order a backup size! I would also strongly recommend giving yourself a few days buffer time so that you can get it professionally steamed before your event because it will likely be a tad wrinkled when it arrives. I wore platform stiletto heels and found the length appropriate -- it just barely skimmed the floor, but I was able to walk without major issue. There is a small train in the back, so make sure others walking behind you don't step on it! If you're on the fence about this one, I say just go for it! This dress is perfect for the hourglass figure. It is very well made. And falls so nicely on the body. I was a little worried about the ruffle and how it might actually look on the body but it looks great. Very very slimming. The color is gorgeous emerald green. I would rent this dress again in a heart beat. It is a formal gown for a formal affair. I have a smaller chest 36B but really closer to an A. I wore a lightly padded strapless and it fit great. So I would not recommend this for very full busted women. Overall, an incredible dress and made for an incredible event.

Beautiful dress with stunning color. Typically I would wear a size 6 regular length. The 6 was too large up top and I was able to make the backup 4L work with heels. The only down was that dress rippled a bit at the zipper.

I was soooo excited to wear this dress and had been planning it for months. So, I was devastated when it arrived with a broken zipper. I called RTR and their customer service staff immediately helped me select a backup dress to send, but also told me that if I could locate a local seamstress to repair the zipper, they'd pay for the repair. Luckily, despite being out of town and in a unfamiliar city, I located a tailor who was able to repair the zipper overnight. With the fixed zipper, the dress was amazing. It runs a little small in the bust area, so just beware of that. I'm not big chested, and it was snug, but fit perfectly everywhere else. I received hundreds of compliments and I felt so regal. More than anything I can't say enough about the care and amazing help from the RTR staff. I'm a loyal customer for life!!!! Kudos!

I was so nervous renting this dress. This was my first RTR experience and it did not disappoint. This dress is also very different from my usual conservative look. The color and the fit were perfect. I had my shaper to smooth the edges. I also didn't need to wear a bras. I decided to go with a 14L even though I'm 5'4'' and I was so glad. When I put heals on the length was just right. I received so many compliments. I highly recommend this dress and I'm definitely renting again.

Loved it , very classy. This size was a bit large for me. Arrived with a stain . I would rent it again in a smaller size .

This dress is stunning! I wore it for a very formal black tie wedding. I would size down if you have a straight and narrow body frame to have the dress hug your body.

The zipper on this particular 0L bunched up significantly and noticeably on the left hip so it was not worn. So sad...it was GORGEOUS and fit perfectly otherwise. Appears that the liner is sown into zipper...if this is remedied, its a total knockout gown!

I rented this as a back up and didn't wear it for my event. Even so, it's a beautiful dress and I might rent it for another event. I am normally a 6L and ordered the 4L. While it fit me fine, I think a 6L would have been an even better fit. This does have a small train. Color is gorgeous. You will stand out in this dress!

It ran true to size and perfect for my body but it may not work for most women: I have an hour-glass figure with a very small waist and back/chest circumference but large hips: 32 DDD bra size but size 10 skirts or pants: however, this dress fit as if it had been tailored on me! In terms of the dress itself, the zipper on the left side deformed the silhouette a bit, however, it had had boning on both sides, this could have been easily fixed (the boning would have added much needed structure on a one-shoulder dress made of satin!) The color was beautiful, and the fabric has a subtle glow and it photographs very well. All-In-all, it made me feel very regal. I received many complements. I accesorized with my beautiful real pearl necklace, to amp the flow factor and add a subtle and classy contrasting element to the look. I wore an elegant matte gold shoe. Gorgeous !

I'm a little pear shaped and this dress really made me look more elongated. It was beautifully made and laid well in all the right places. I wore this to a friend's black tie wedding, and it was a big hit!

The dress is beautiful however it runs large on top and it gathers strangely on the hip without the ruffle - it just didn't lay flat and it was overall too big. I also tried the 4 and that was much better but still did not lay properly on my hip....

Would not zip just at my bust area. But the hips were crazy big and hit very low on my torso in both the short and regular lengthed version. The also stuck out oddly. Beautiful fabric, but not for curvy girls I guess.

This might look great on someone with smaller hips/butt, but just pulled in all the wrong places on me.

Dress fit perfectly... Until it got to my bust. The chest runs VERY tight while the rest of the dress was true to size. Unfortunately couldn't get this zipped over my chest.

Dress was definitely short for 5'6" if you want to wear heels. Material is ok, but it puckers a little at the hips, which isn't very flattering. I sent it back and decided not to wear it at all.

Reviews mentioned that this dress runs small so I ordered my usual size (10) and got a larger size as my backup. Unfortunately the 10 was too baggy in the hips, making me look bigger than I am. I wasn't able to wear the dress for the occasion.

great fit, great look...

I loved the color of this dress and it fit well but the zipper was sewn in such a way that the fabric buckled all the way along. And so from one side it looked great and from the zipper side it looked terrible.
