I wore this dress to a formal affair while pregnant. It was very comfortable and I received many compliments. I only wish it would have been a tad longer. I wanted it to cover my shoes completely and it was a bit below my ankle.

Incredibly comfortable and fit like a glove but radiated old Hollywood glam all night. Be prepared for *sparkle* and the dark section has a cool subtle leopard print.

The dress ran a little on the larger side. I ordered a 6R(my usual size) and a 4L because many reviews were saying it ran a bit large. Both fit well but I went with the 4L because I prefer a train on the back and did not want my heels to be showing. The 4L went really well with my body and was not tight at all. I really loved how comfortable it was and the sequins were not a bother at all. Definitely worth getting!

Im pretty short so even with heels the dress was slightly long however, the dress was beautiful, extremely flattering, and perfect for the occasion. Everything shipped on time and came in great condition. No complaints at all!

Fit true to size. I wore this dress to a Corpsman's Ball and it was perfect, classy dress for the occassion. This is the second time that I have rented from renttherunway.com and each time they exceed my expectations. The dress arrived a day earlier, which was perfect. I ordered a 10R and an 8R, but ended up wearing the 10R. I am 5'11" tall and wore the 10R, since it isn't offered in 10L. There was a cute train on the back and the front was a good length as well. The only downside is that the dress rides a little high under the arms, so the sequins tend to scratch your arms a bit. It was definitely tolerable though. I would HIGHLY recommend this dress!

I am a contemporary glamour portrait photographer and I rented this dress for my client to wear as one of her looks for her session. The dress was true to fit--the size 4R fit her perfectly--the wide straps allowed her to wear a regular bra, the gold/bronze colored sequins looked amazing on her skin tone, and the dress fabric felt high-quality with just enough stretch to follow her curves. The cut of the dress was extremely flattering--the "panel" gave the dress dimension and interest. This dress was beautiful! I'm typically in between an 8 and 10. Both sizes fit great, I just preferred the smaller size. I'm 5"7 and wore 3 inch heels. The long length was perfect! The dress was so comfortable throughout the night! I did have some issues dancing at the after party with the train and the dress doesn't "breathe" well so it was hot! I loved this dress though and would definitely rent it again!!

This dress definitely fits in all the right places. I could tell right away that it was incredibly well made. I'm not usually someone who goes for sequins, but the colors really sold me on this one. They are absolutely stunning! The gold/copper color is muted but shines beautifully in any kind of light and I didn't find the sequins to be scratchy or irritating at all. The train and back cutouts were also perfect touches to give the dress character. You will not regret a night spent wearing this dress!

The dress was awesome! It fit perfectly and got to me in perfect time. While I was unable to wear to my event due to a sudden death in my boyfriends family, I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again! I'm 5'0 and with 4" heels it fit awesome, maybe an inch too long still, but not an issue.

Absolutely loved this dress. I normally wear a size 4 and since I'm 5'9 I ordered the long but after reading many of the other reviews I ordered a size 2L as my second size and I'm so glad I did because it fit perfectly even though I would have loved an extra two inches on the front hem (I wore flip flops, because my heels would have definitely made the dress too short in the front. Overall loved the dress and would recommend RTR to anyone.

I was afraid it might be too long but with some 4' sandals barely touched the floor which was perfect ! The dress was comfortable and I really enjoyed wearing it !!

Rented this dress for a military ball and was definitely a show stopper! Love the unique cutouts in the back and the fact that it's not basic black. Covered in sparkles but don't feel like a disco ball. Very forgiving material and stretchy, great for dancing! Probably could have got with the size 2 for more fitted waist but top might have been too tight in arm holes.

The length was perfect with my heels (3 1/5 inches). The dress has a great fit and movement - would def recommend

I was so sad to return this gorgeous dress! It was absolutely perfect for my senior prom. I felt beautiful. The 2 fit snugly and the 4 was a little looser, but I wanted a tighter fit so I went with the 2. I am 5'5" and the regular length was perfect with flat sandals, but would have been too short for my liking with heels. The top was rubbing the inside of my arms a little bit, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable. I believe this dress would be flattering on most body types, but curvier girls may want to order a size up for a backup; it may be too tight in the hips/bust. Overall, this dress was amazing. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

I received a last minute invite to the 25th Annual Mall Ball in Pensacola from my brand new boss, who had also reserved a table!! What's a Tall Gal to do with a week's notice? Thankfully my Sister told me about Rent the Runway!! I loved the color of the dress; a deep gold to almost bronze. the fit was fabulous, not hot, not restricting, and not itchy!! My Pros: The sequins allow the weight of the dress to spill effortlessly downward while hugging all the right curves. This is a worry free wear: no tugging, tucking, pulling, or taping, just FUN, FUN, FUN all night long. The extra length is great too: The "L" long is truly that, as I am 6'3" and wore a 1.5" heel. The flirty tail flowed enough to pool just enough on the floor as I walked. You could easily rock a 4 to 6 inch stiletto if your inseam is between 34 to 36 inches, and the dress would be perfect. hope this helps. CONS: I had to give it back! Bummer, but happy RTR saved the evening for me. I love that I can get a second dress to try just in case the size was wrong. Customer service was FABULOUS and helped to ease the stress of wondering if my dress would be long enough; THANKS RTR! So looking forward to my "FREE BIRTHDAY RENTAL" for signing up with PRO!

Fit like a glove. Such a stunning dress. The 2l was a tiny bit long even with 5" heels. I knew the regular was going to be too short though. I loved the back. I wore a sticky bra, I don't think a regular bra would work since the back dips a bit low. Got a ton of compliments the entire night.

This dress was beautiful! The fabric and quality was impeccable (and quite heavy!) the style of the dress gives an hourglass shape and along with the color blocking technique it provides the illusion of a cinched waist. I loved wearing it and I felt wonderful in it. It was a comfortable dress but the only com was it felt a little scratchy on the underside on my arm when it rubbed against the sequins but nothing that was overtly disconcerting. Great dress and I definitely recommend it!

I normally teeter between a 2 and a 4 depending on fabric (which I ordered both here and because some of the reviews said it ran small), however I wish I would have ordered the 0 as my alternate size because I felt the 2 ran a smidge large in the body. I cant complain though, the 2 fit pretty well. It was fitted through the bust but looser in the stomach. I would have liked it to be a little more fitted all through but since the dress is a little heavy, it still had a very flattering flow. I wore 4"-5" heals and the dress rested perfectly at the ground. My roommate tried on the 4 (when she normally prefers to wear a 6) and thought that the dress ran a size big too. I'm not sure how a 0 would have fit up top because the 2 was a perfect zip for my bust area, but I would recommend getting one size smaller as the alternate size just in case. Overall, I got tons of compliments and was very happy with the quality!

I rented the dress for a "old hollywood glam" New Years Eve party. I wore it with scarlett red 4' platform stilettos and the dress was long enough (yet let my shoes peek)! Bit of a train in the back that did get stepped on a few times but otherwise it was perfect. Dress was very comfortable to wear, actually great for a winter ocassion because it is heavy. Great dress, great experiance will definitely use RTR again.

I absolutely loved this gown!!! The sequins are muted and are not super shiny which added to its beauty. It was true to size and was comfortable with a bit of stretch to the material. I was able to sit down without any problems. I really did not have an issue with the sequins irritating my under arm skin like others have said in their reviews. It was noticeable at first when I placed on the gown, but it went away. I did have to lift the train so it was not stepped on while walking and dancing. Not a big problem. The length was perfect for my height and my heals. This is a gown I would recommend to rent. LOVE IT!

I also had rented the 0R, which fit very nicely as well, but the 2R's waist hit me in a better spot, for the most part this dress runs true to size and catches light in a very beautiful way. You won't regret it!

Loved this rental. I needed something last min. for a black tie awards show. The selections were small as it happened the same weekend as VDay. This dress ended up being perfect. It is nicely lined so it isn't scratchy. It has a bit of stretch which is perfect for my pear shaped frame. The train was lovely but you have to take extra care as not to be stepped on.

I LOVED this dress! It was perfect! I'm 5'2" and ended up taking off my shoes (yes, I was that girl). It was a little long, but with 4" heels on it was perfect, even when walking. I was sad to send this one back!
