Not much stretch so be sure to order your size - no squeezing in. Gave me curves without bulging in the wrong places. Elegant ~ perfect for black tie wedding.

I was so in love with this dress, I did not want to return it. I was long enough for a tall girl like me to wear about three or four inch heels, but no taller so I would not recommend if you are taller than me and want to wear them. Very thick fabric so you didn't have to wear any shape wear or a bra. A little difficult to get around in but man did I feel good in it. I also got about a million complements!

I chose this dress for an engagement photo shoot. I was looking for something with a train to look royal and elegant. This met expectations. I usually wear either a size 4 or 6. However, I am a 36D, so with formal wear that I know doesn't have give, I size up. The dress was hard to zip in my chest area, and then somewhat loose in the waist area. I expect this with formal wear though on me because the size between my waist and chest is disproportionate. Because I am busty, I would otherwise say the dress is true to size. My fiance and I have received so many compliments on our photos, such as "elegant" and "regal."

I ordered the size 2 because the 4 was not available. Runs small and fits like a glove. The material is not stretchy. Loved this dress! The color is beautiful. Had some folks stepping on the trail --would not recommend this for heavy dancing.

Everything was great but I do wish the bust had been tighter. If you're a 36 C and above you should be fine but anything below you'll need something to hold you up.

This dress runs small, so size up! I usually wear a 6, but the 8 fit perfectly. The only problem is that it hugged my body so well that it was difficult for me to sit or bend while dancing. Also I definitely could not use the bathroom all night because I'd have to take off the whole dress, worth it though!

There was a little piece of wiring sticking out of the top. Occasionally, it bothered me but not enough to complain about. The color is absolutely fabulous. Made me feel like a million bucks!

I absolutely LOVED this dress. It fit like a glove. I wore it to a ball and received tons of compliments. I am only 5'1" so the only downside was that I had to blind stitch the bottom due to it being about 3 inches too long. I also wore 4 inch heels.

Im smaller at the top and a little more curvy at the bottom but this dress was perfect. It seemed long at first but with my heels, the train was fine. I had to hold it as I danced but it was not a problem at all.

Dress is stunning and was a lot of fun to wear. It runs small and does not stretch. I am 5'10 and the long was the perfect length with flats. The train is not good if you are planning to dance as you can't really move backward without tripping, but this was perfect for the event I was at. Many compliments on the dress all evening.

From the moment you put it on you'll feel beautiful. I normally wear a 4 but is was a little tight in the breast area so I ended up wearing the 6 and it fit perfect. I just put that it runs small because most 4s fit me perfect and in this case the top was a little snug. But if you are smaller chested then I would say that it was true to size. It was just long enough to wear 6 inch heals and just barely grazed the floor. Also, I was not constantly pulling it up and I did not use fashion tape, it fit so well that I didn't have to touch it. However seeing as it was in September and I was surrounded buy people my legs got pretty hot so I held up the bottom. But, I won homecoming queen in this dress, so I would say it's lucky! I love it!

I love this dress, it was heart-wrenching to have to mail it back after my event! I wore it to a black tie event for a country club and was absolutely the belle of the ball. People kept coming up to me and effusively telling me how lovely the dress was! Even my boyfriend's buddies were effusive in their compliments (I feel like if several 22 year old men can put together coherent compliments, that must be a good sign). The only two issues I found with the dress are the wiring in the top and the hem. Some of the support wiring in the top stuck out on the inside (probably because this dress has been too loved), but I just covered it with duct tape and it didn't bother me at all. The hem is lined on the inside with a stiff, black netting to give the hem some depth, but it kept folding out so that the mesh was visible. I really don't think this is a big deal, most fancy events have soft lighting so it wouldn't be a distraction, not to mention that this dress is so gorgeous, no one is going to be looking at the bottom of it.

I wore this incredible cobalt blue gown for my sister's wedding this weekend and the compliments were nonstop! The mermaid shape was extremely flattering - fitted but still comfortable enough for an evening of dancing. At 5'10" tall, the extra length was perfect with my 4 inch heels. The dress fit so beautifully that it felt as though it was tailored just for me. Another amazing rental that I was sad to return - thank you RTR, you are simply the best!

I was nervous to rent this dress because of the reviews it received about it running small, but I'm glad I took the chance. This dress is A-MA--ZING! Got soooo many compliments on the color. If you are tall I would suggest you not where 5 inch or higher heels. For a long I found it a see bit short and had to adjust my shoe selection but other than that...it was a hit!!!

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's Marine Corps birthday ball. I love love LOVE this dress! If I find it on sale somewhere, I'm going to buy it! The color is beautiful, much brighter than the picture. I'd say this dress runs a little small, I typically wear a 6 or 8 (depending on style and designer) but I listened to the RTR suggestion and sized up. I'm so glad I did! The dress is fitted through the hips and butt...and after 13 years of gymnastics and CrossFit, I am not lacking in those areas! It was a little loose in the chest, but nothing you can't work with. The dress, though fitted, was really comfortable. I got tons of compliments all night, and was told I looked like a movie star! I paired it with an heirloom necklace and diamond studs.

I'm new to formal wear, and I reserved this dress in a 6L with a 4L as my backup completing guessing on my size (5'9 140lbs). Luckily i had the dress scheduled to come 2 days before my event Bc the 4L was too big especially in the bust. I did not even bother to try on the 6L. I called RTR and luckily there was one 2L in stock which they overnighted. The 2 was a little tight but not in a bad way, the dress really hugged my curves. HOWEVER although he dress I received was labeled as. 2L I am almost positive it was a 2R. The 4L dragged on the floor when I was barefoot, whereas the "2L" I received barely skimmed the floor... So I had to ditch the 2.5" heels I had originally planned to wear and instead wore ballet flats which gave the dress the perfect length. Overall this dress was so so perfect and I was so sad to ship it back this morning!

The dress is a beautiful bright cobalt blue! I ordered the 4R and 6R. Initially, I thought I was going to wear the 6R, but it was a little too long and loose in the bust/hips. On the day of the wedding I ended up wearing the 4R, which was tighter in the bust and hips. I am short-waisted, so the boning was a bit uncomfortable by the end of the night and you could see a little wrinkle where the dress hit my hips, but because of the design it wasn't too obvious. The overall design of the dress has a very slimming look and I received compliments all night long!

The dress fit true to size but was a little small in the hips/butt area. It fit well while standing up, but at times it was a bit hard to sit in. I wore it to my Senior prom which was pretty crowded so it got stepped on a lot. Other than that it was absolutely gorgeous!

This dress is gorgeous! The color is bright and stands out among everything. I am just about 6 foot and I had to wear 3.5 inch heels in order for the dress to not touch the ground. The train is beautiful but got annoying when going through crowds and dancing with people but WELL WORTH IT!!. My largest hip point is 41.5 inches and I could JUST sit down. If you have hip measurements larger than that, you will not be able to sit down in it. I had to wear 3 padded bras to fill up the bust - I'm an 8 on top/10 on the bottom. It was a knock out dress - size up for your second size and watch this gown stop traffic!!

The dress is absolutely stunning! If you have hips (which I certainly do), size up and go another size up for your back-up. I religiously wear a size 8 and it took two hungry days to wear the 10 comfortably. This was a perfect dress for our Casablanca themed holiday ball and I would absolutely rent it again.

I wore this to a NYE wedding. It was a great excuse to wear something formal, and this dress did not disappoint! It was elegant, form fitting, comfortable. It was quite long though. I expected it to be shorter, as I ordered the R length, but even with 3.5" heels on my 5'3" body, I had to hold the dress the walk and avoid tripping. Other than that, it was great. I received many compliments and would love another excuse to wear this style of dress again!

I was overnighted this dress because the original one I got I didn't like. It was so easy!!! This dress was stunning. I received several complements. I'm about 5 feet tall and the only down fall is that it was pretty long on me. Because of the train I could pull it off but I had to hold the bottom up to walk around.

This dress has a beautiful sheen and the color is stunning. I love the silhouette. It is very long, though, as you can see on the model it is meant to be. I had to wear the tallest of my tall shoes and dancing (any more than some hip wiggles) was unfeasible. But the goal was to look elegant, and so it was successful!

Absolutely beautiful color and style! I felt like a true queen in this dress. I learned through a previous RTR experience with this designer that sizes run smaller especially if you have a chest. I wore an 8L so I could wear heels (I'm 5'8) . Having a full bust this dress needed a strapless bra underneath on top of the normal padding. Perfect dress and beautiful fit and color!

Runs tight in the thighs/ booty, stayed up without help, corseted top, the long has more of a train so watch for that but overall great pick!

I'm a 32 DD and typically a size 6. I had on 4.5 " heels and at 5'8" (6'0" with heels on) I still felt like I was going to trip on the front of the gown. The fit was snug and perfect and the color is amazing. If you're 5'10 or taller, this is perfect for you.

Wore this gown to a black tie wedding at the Metroplitan Club in NYC and I fit right in with the socialites! The mermaid fit was so flattering but spanx shorts are a must because your thighs will be rubbing all night!

The dress has a slight train which makes it even more elegant; ascending the stairs felt regal! The fabric is heavy enough to prevent those little bulges that may show on tight dresses. There is some boning along the waist, and it did end up irritating my skin by the end of the night (but that's probably because the fabric was a little worn where the boning ended). Otherwise it was absolutely perfect - I'm so glad I bought it!

This dress is WONDERFUL! I am a relatively small girl of average height (5'6, 135-140 pounds, very slender athletic build with a curvy bottom half, 34B bustsize) so I am often worried about buying dresses because most that fit me in the bust, are too small for my hips/bottom and those that fit my hips/bottom are usually a little loose in the bust. This dress fit me really well, aside from a tiny bit of looseness in the bust that was barely noticeable to anyone but me. The quality was amazing, although it did arrive with the sash (that was supposed to be sewn down to the bodice) detached in one place but again, this was completely impossible for anyone but me to notice. Overall, I will absolutely shop RTR again and I had an amazing experience and I loved this dress!

This dress fits very long and was perfect for my proportions. The 6L was too large in the hips, the 4L was comfortable to move in, a bit large in the bust even though I'm 34DD. I wore a sticky bra and it was fine. I loved the material and the way it accentuated all the good curves !

The dress looks rather shiny in the photo, but it's not as sleek a material-not silk. It was a bit tight in the mid-section and rode up a bit as I walked. Once I would settle in place though, the material fell and sat on me perfectly. It fit perfectly in the upper body and I didn't need to wear a bra. GORGEOUS GOWN!

Rented this gown for prom. Tried the size 0R on in the Georgetown store and it fit but ended up using the size 2R backup gown - thank God there was a backup! It fit like a glove. Received compliments all night long and felt like a princess. Rented the necklace and earrings too, which made the outfit stand out. Will use RTR again without hesitation!
