Wore the dress backwards with some Hollywood tape and got tons of compliments all night!

I loved this dress, and it photographed really well. It hugged all the right places, except my tummy- I really would recommend spanx if you plan to wear this and have a tummy like me. Other than that, it is super flattering in all the other parts of the body, and the lower back adds a little more sexiness. Definitely would wear again.

The dress was gorgeous, it was fitted in all the right places. I will say the bust area felt a little loose because of how open the back was, but I still felt supported in the dress.

So glad I went down to the flatiron store to try on this dress. I'm usually between a 0-2, and the 0 fit like a glove. I rented this dress for a black tie optional wedding in upstate New York, and it totally worked. Got great compliments on it and it made me feel so beautiful! Like any sequin dress though, be mindful of what you wear with it and those around you so as not to snag. However, I didn't have any issues hugging those in lace and satin. Wasn't too stuffy either- we were mostly outside all night. I wish I could have kept this special piece but considering how easy it was to rent, I'll definitely be using this app again.

The dress is very comfortable and I got a ton of compliments. The color is stunning and stands out in a crowd! This dress is stretchy so I suggest going down a size. The one thing that might be a cause of concern is the sequins under the arm. I didn't have any issue with any rubbing or irritation, but I'm not sensitive to that sort of thing. One last suggestion is if you want to wear a normal bra with the dress, you can tuck a piece of the draped fabric into you bra and no one will be the wiser. I did that and was comfortable all night!

I felt amazing in this dress!!! 14 fit my boobs better but I wore the 16 bc it was a little longer. I had to tape my boobs for this but I'd say it was worth it.

Fit was great and true to size. Comfortable and not too heavy to wear and did not rise up while dancing. Would definitely wear again!

The fit was nice. As some other women have said, it's a bit tight around the arms, but it didn't prevent me from dancing or having a good time. You can't wear a normal bra with it because the back is too low. I wore it to a bachelorette party and it worked out great. I definitely recommend it.

This was my second Rent the Runway dress for a work event. I was a little worried that the back would be too much or that the sequins would scratch my arms as I worked all night but, neither was the case. This is a great dress, fun and still elegant. It's an amazing shade of green - it paired well with black tights to give it a more professional vibe but, also looked great with bare legs. I received countless compliments about the dress - the style and the color. Both the size 4 and the size 6 fit - I opted for the 6 but, in a pinch the 4 would have worked too. With an awesome back like this, you cannot wear a traditional bra (or a bra at all, pending on your comfort). The sequins didn't rub or irritate the inside of my arms which was nice because I was working all night.The dress hit just above the knee which was the perfect length for me. My only complaint was the hem on my dress was starting to look a little used. Might need a tune up before sending it out again.

Loved this dress. I wore it to "o" in las vegas. The color is awesome, but the back is the real star of the show. Numerous strangers came up to comment on how much they liked it. I wore a strapless backless sticky bra from Nordstrom and it worked like a charm. Loved this dress and was so sad to send it back.

I wore this dress to my fiances Holiday Party. I ordered a size 8 and 10 assuming the 10 would fit better, but the 8 fit perfectly! It was even slimming! I received so many compliments that night and everyone was talking about how beautiful my dress was which is huge when you are attending a party as a plus one. I even had one of the CEO's wives come up to me to ask me where I got the dress!

I decided on this dress after looking at every dress on here because I liked that it was demure yet still sexy. Our event was on the field at Petco Park (a baseball field) and under the bright stadium lights this dress GLISTENED! It fit very well, the shoulders/sleeves are a bit tight but I barely noticed. The dress was so comfy and the sequins didn't itch me at all. I got complimented a million times on the dress and some guy on the street said it looked like I was going to the golden globes! I wore a twenties hairstyle and a red lip and literally people I see everyday didn't even recognize me and did triple takes. I'm so sad to give this dress back but I would do rent it again. I'm a size 4 and i sized down as well based on other reviews and I ended up wearing the 2 because it was tighter and looked sleeker. I also wore some spanx booty shorts under the dress and it helped immensely. Such a gorgeous and Classic dress. Was a total hit I couldn't be any happier!

Such a wonderful dress, I actually had ordered another dress which wasn't available bc the person before had not returned it. I'm so glad this happened because this dress was amazing along w the customer service from rtr they immediately allowed me to choose another dress from any price range and they got it to me on time. This dress made me feel incredible and I got so many compliments. It runs true to size. I didn't wear a bra and it was ok ( and I have a large breasts) . The back is amazing. This dress is a real show stopper

I wore this dress to a formal winter wedding and got so many compliments. While I rented both my normal size and a size down, I ended up wearing my usual size due to the arm/chest area. Even with a sticky bra, it felt a little to tight to dance in. The dress was very flattering and the excess fabric in the stomach area fell nicely over my hips, which are quite wide. I wasn't bothered by the sequins rubbing either. My advice is to rent it for a formal affair— you will stand out! And know that while the rest of the dress is sketchy, the arms are a bit constraining. Loved this rental!

I am normally between 4 and 6, went with the smaller size and it was great. This sort of material always irritates my skin (rubbing under my arms, etc.) but didn't really start to bother me until toward the end of the night on the dance floor. Otherwise, no complaints only compliments!

I run between a 4 and 6 usually, so I ordered both dresses. I honestly saw very little difference between the 4 and the 6, however I decided to go with the 6 because it was a tad longer. Loved the dress, and got complements on it all night. The back is amazing!

I wore this dress for a formal charity fundraiser. It's gorgeous in person, and I felt very glamorous. I received many compliments, including best dress in the room, and my boyfriend loved it. The fit was a little big through the hips, but otherwise fit well. I suspect I could have gone down to the 0, but the 2 was comfortable.

The 10 and 12 were really close in size. I chose the 12 because I felt I had better arm movement and planned on dancing the night away. It arrived beautifully and I was beyond happy with the whole experience. I can't wait to rent my next dress!

I ordered the 2 and the 4. Although I could zip it up and easily fit into the 2, the 4 hung better on my body (no funny bunching like I had in the 2). A 6 would have been much too large though. I have a teensy bit of a "mommy-tummy" after having two children and this dress - along with the always necessary pair of Spanx - looked perfect on! I consistently wear a 4 in all other clothing so it fit true to size for me. It hit about an inch above my knees. I paired it with RTR Badgley Mischka Blue Ice earrings, sheer black pantyhose and patent black pumps since it was a winter event. Received compliments ALL night long. The sequins rubbed on my underarm area when I was walking around the house trying the dresses on and I was afraid it was going to bother me all night but for some reason, when I was wearing it for the event, I never noticed or became irritated. Just a classy dress all around!

Fit was great! Watch the sequins with hair down(if you have long hair) they will snag! I ordered the 6 and 8, both fit. Neither were to short. I wore a backless bra, more for my own comfort then necessity. Was the perfect dress for an event that I wasn't sure of the dress code at. It could go cocktail or formal! Great dress!!

It fit me perfect. It was easy to move around in, and although I didn't dance where we went, it would have been easy to dance in. I got compliments all night long, the back of the dress was so sexy. Definitely get a size smaller. I'm normally a 2, and I read the reviews so I got a zero and it fit perfect. I didn't even try on the 2.

Both sizes fit but I went with the smaller for a more snug fit since I wouldn't be wearing a bra. I highly recommend some pasties and if you would need to wear a bra you might be able to safety pin it below the back drape. The cap sleeves limited how much I could lift my arms and after a while the sequins did start to rub the underneath of my arms but not enough to keep me from dancing all night. Love this dress. Can't wait to rent again!

Absolutely loved this dress. True to size, and fit like a glove. It's stretchy and very comfortable. I did not have to wear a bra with this dress, which was amazing! I wore this to a masquerade party, and was receiving compliments all night.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress! I rented it for my company Christmas party and it was perfectly festive and appropriate. It definitely runs large as the 0 fit me with even a little wiggle room. The back is the best part I wish I got a better photo it's just low enough to feel sexy but not over the top. I wore it with simple gold accessories and black heels and it worked out great.

I wore this dress when about 5 months pregnant to a winter wedding. I loved it because it was a dress I would normally wear when not expecting, but it had enough stretch to fit my bump. When I saw this at the store it reminded me of the dress Olivia Wilde wore while pregnant to the Golden Globes and this didn't disappoint. I rented both the 6 and 8, but ended up in the 6 since it hugged my bump the cutest :)

True to size, good mid thigh length and stretchy material. The back dips low (between the shoulder blades and the bum) so make sure your back is ready to be exposed :) I received countless compliments on this dress!!!

This dress does run a bit large so I would echo the other reviews and go a size smaller. I also felt that it was very forgiving in the mid section especially considering the very large open back. All in all I loved this dress and felt so special getting to wear it for a night!

Great dress! Fits snug around the hips - if you're curvy go a size up! There was VERY little difference between the size 2 and the size 4 - I ended up wearing the 4 but could have done either. This is a STUNNING dress. But don't plan on getting crazy on the dance floor - the way the arms are cut you can't really raise your arms too high. (My husband and I swing dance - you can't swing in this one) But - I would recommend this dress anyway! It was amazing - I got a zillion compliments and literally had people I don't know from work tracking me down at the party and several days after to ask where I got it!

Felt like a million bucks! I usually run in the 4/6 range for dresses, this one I was a 4 in. Great length. I am 5'11" and have a very had time finding dresses that are a modest length. This was a perfect mix of modest and sexy!

This dress is very flattering! I am normally a size 6 but the 6 size in this dress was too loose so I wore the backup size 4. I am thankful for other reviewer's comments! I would not have ordered the size 4 as my backup if they had not mentioned that the dress runs large. I attended my husband's office Christmas party which was hosted at the hotel Alyeska in Girdwood, It was a lovely evening and I had a fantastic time in this dress! My husband was proud to have my on his arm and I felt classy yet sexy at the same time - a very challenging balance to find these days! I had an excellent experience with Rent the Runway, I have recommended it to all my girlfriends and plan on using it again in the future!!

This dress was super comfortable, but it definitely ran big. I wore a 2, which is my usual size, because the 0 was unavailable when I rented. The 2 worked but I think the 0 would have been better, especially given that the fabric has some stretch.
